Creating new account / migration issues

Question

I would like to create a new user account (with the same email address as the current account) and re-authorize my computers (and migrate all purchased/imported songs). My situation is this:
- my account has three authorized computers, each with unique library content.
- two of the computers are mine, the third is not.
- I am essentially trying to "split" the account, at which point the owner of the third PC (which is not mine) can modify the email address and have their own account. And I will have my own.
Has anyone done this and do you have any tips?

I can't think of too much you need to be concerned with; just create the new account as you normally would. Note that you will need a different email address at least temporarily, since you cannot use the same email address twice as the iTunes Store ID. So if you don't have a second email address you can use, you might have to set up a GMail or other free email account or something just to get the ID set up. Then you can log into the new iTunes Store account and change the email address it uses to your desired address.
Note as well that the tracks you've already purchased will remain keyed to your current iTunes Store account, and there's no way to change that. So you will continue to need to use that account to authorize any computer to play those tracks.
