Creating new Evaluation class

Hello
I m going to create a new specification for Evaluation class 2.
By just using table VC_T52DE
SO WHATS NEXT, is anythg i need to assgn and need to update anythg.

Hello
The reason behind is. We do have WT's which i had t oassgn E'CLASS with specification as
Earning and Allow
and other one is
Negative under Earnings
Which are not part of specifiction of E'class 02

  • Hw to create new valuation class..?

    Hi gurus
can anybody explain me how to create new valuation class for Some materials types eg finished goods.
What is valuation class..? were to assign the valuation class after creation..?
    Thanks
    sap-mm

    Hi,
    Goto SPRO->IMG->Materials Management>Valuation and Account Assignment>Account Determination->Account Determination Without Wizard->Define Valuation Classes
    Valuation class means:
Assignment of a material to a group of G/L accounts
With other factors, the valuation class determines the G/L accounts that are updated as a result of a valuation-relevant transaction or event such as a goods movement.
The valuation class makes it possible to:
Post the stock values of materials of the same material type to different G/L accounts
Post the stock values of materials of different material types to the same G/L account
Account category reference is assigned to val.class and val.class is assigned to material type and g/l is assigned to v.class

  • Create new depreciation class for the existing asset

    Dear Experts,
    Please explain step by step:
    1. How to create a new depreciation class for the existing asset
    2. How to make a asset transfer to the new asset in the new asset class?
    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
The pre-requsit of creating a new assets clause :-
    1. Co. code assigned to Chart of Dep.
    2. Dep areas have been defined
    3. GL account no. is not more than 8 digit.
The transfer of an assets within the same co code can be done thru T.code ABUMN.

  • Create new Z-class type

    Hello,
I will classify a completely new object (such as building construction, based on new Z-table) by using the SAP class system. For this I will create a <b>new class type</b> as well and <b>new classes</b> with <b>new attributes</b>; classes and can be created, but as for now I didn’t find any way to create an own class type.
Is it possible to create a new class type (like Z01) to classify and evaluate the new object?
    Thanks for your hints.
    Regards,
    Kurt

When I go in SPRO to Cross-Application Components>Classification System>Classes-->Maintain Object Types and Class types, I get an initial view at the object table level.  If I select a table and choose the Class types level, I get to a Change View "Class Types" Overview with a New Entries button.

  • How to create new data class in DDIC?

    Hi Friends,
I want to store 5 custom tables into a particular Table space.
For that i want to creat a new Dataclass and which has to be mapped to a new table space.
    So what i need is.
    1. How to create a new Customer data class apart from USER1 and USER that is available?
    2. How to map the newly created Dataclass to a Table space?
Purpose: DBA wants to maintain these tables separately so that this won't disturb other data.
    SAP VERSION - 4.7EE - AIX - DB2
Any help on this would be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Simha

you can use either usr or usr1 for your  development ... because
read the belo statment  provided by SAP
The data class defines the physical area of the database (for ORACLE the TABLESPACE) in which your table is logically stored. If you choose a data class correctly, your table will automatically be assigned to the correct area when it is created on the database.
The most important data classes are (other than the system data):
    APPL0    Master data
    APPL1    Transaction data
    APPL2    Organizational and customizing data
Master data is data which is frequently read, but rarely updated. Transaction data is data which is frequently updated. Organizational und customizing data is data which is defined when the system is initialized and then rarely changed.
There are two more data classes available, USR and USR1. These are reserved for user developments. The tables assigned to these data classes are stored in a tablespace for user developments.
Note:The data class only has an effect on table storage for the database systems ORACLE and INFORMIX

  • Transfer assets collectively to new class and create new assets like ABUMN

We need to change the account determination for a few Asset Classes that already have assets with postings.  As a result we must create new asset classes and assign a new account determination.
Is there a program that would allow transfer assets collectively to a new asset class and create new assets automatically similar to ABUMN?  T-code ABUMN allows you to transfer multiple assets but you must create the new assets first.  ABUMN will transfer and create new asset but only does one asset at a time.
There are hundreds of assets with postings to be transferred from the old asset classes to the corresponding new asset classes.
Appreciate whatever input you can provide.

download the asset master data(original) and create new asstes using lsmw or any third party tool also.

  • How do I create a new Evaluation Path in SAP

    Hi
I need someone to explain step by step how I can go about having a new Evaluation Path created so that I can use it for reporting purposes in SQ01 tcode.
I have checked the various standard Evaluation Paths offered by SAP, but unfortunately they do not correspond to what I am looking for. Basically our company sometimes has cost centres which are associated to positions and in instances in which the positions are unoccupied and the cost centre becomes invalid/inactive, we need to alert the manager of those unoccupied positions to update the cost centre information. Right now I have had to set-up various reports in SQ01 to handle each step of determining who the manager of these unoccupied position is but it is cumbersome. I would like to simply build one report with a new evaluation path which can determine that information straightaway.
Here's what I believe I need in terms of an eval path KSOSP i.e.
    Cost centre (K) - > Position (S) - > Org Unit (O) -> Position Chief (S) -> Holder (P)
Can anyone explain what transactions I need to build the evaluation path i.e. how to do this with the tcode and then also how to get this new eval path available for use in SQ01 reporting.
    Thanks in advance.
    Nicola

You have advised the Tcode OOVK but can you provide some details on how to actually create an evaluation path (per my specific details) as that's what I really need to know.
Also how does the Eval Path become available for use in SQ01 once it's created
    Thanks a lot

  • How can I create a new own class in WebDynpro?

I test the Web Dynpro for a while and found all the java classes were generated automatically. I've tried to create an own class. But after I rebuild the project, all of my own classes were cleared.

    Hi
You can create your own class as mentioned in above replies or one more way,
    1. first you create your java project seperately,  there you can write all your business needs and then, make a jar or that then, you can include that project into your WDproject by
    rightclick on WDproject>properties>libraries>addexternaljars>ok
    2. create seperate java project
    rightclick on WDproject>properties>Projects>selectYourjavaProject>ok

  • How to create new OC4J instance in AS 10.1.3 with BC4J- and ADF-Libraries

    Hi
I have done all the steps mentioned in this thread:
How to create new OC4J instance in AS 10.1.3
However, the new created OC4J instance obviously misses some libraries. If I deploy my Application to this OC4J I get an internal error: Class not found: oracle.jbo.JboException.
The same Application runs well in the "home" Instance.
What is the trick, to create a new OC4J instance, which more or less behaves the same way as the "home" instances (and especially has all the same libraries)?
    Thanks for your help
    Frank Brandstetter

I encountered this last month. I definitely agree that it is a glaring omission to not have "Create Like" functionality when instantiating new containers. Here's my notes on the manual steps required after using createinstance to create the fresh container. Not too bad. I've been deploying ADF applications to the new container with no problems after this.
    ==============
The default (home) OC4J container is pre-configured for ADF 10.1.3 applications; however, when $ORACLE_HOME/bin/createinstance is used to create additional containers, these containers are not configured automatically to host ADF 10.1.3 applications.
    I followed these manual steps:
    1. $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/config/server.xml defines three shared libraries that "install" the needed JARs for Oracle ADF applications in your application server instance (container). Note that "install" does not necessarily mean available to applications (see Step 2). Copy the three shared library element definitions to the <application-server> element of your new container (in server.xml).

  • Create a Exception Class

    hi all ,,
can any one tell me how to create a exception class in ABAP OOPS concept ??
if possible can give link also for document

    HI Jayakumar,
    Please go thru this document
Exceptions are represented by objects that are instances of exception classes. Defining an exception is, therefore, the same as creating an exception class.
All exception classes must inherit from the common superclass CX_ROOT and one of its subordinate classes:
    CX_STATIC_CHECK
    CX_DYNAMIC_CHECK
    CX_NO_CHECK
. The assignment of exception classes to one of these three paths of the inheritance hierarchy determines the way in which the associated exceptions are propagated. There is a record of predefined exception classes CX_SY_... whose exceptions are raised in error situations in the runtime environment. These classes all inherit from CX_DYNAMIC_CHECK or CX_NO_CHECK but not from CX_STATIC_CHECK (see hierarchy in the ABAP keyword documentation).
All exception classes must begin with the prefix CX_. They are usually defined globally with the Class Builder of the ABAP Workbench. Local exception classes can, however, also be defined.
Individual (abstract) exception classes that are used as the superclass of further exception classes can be defined. The exceptions of the subordinate classes can be handled together using a superclass.
Exception classes have the following features:
    Constructor
The constructor must have a predefined structure and a specific interface. With global classes, the Class Builder generates the correct constructor and sets it to an unchangeable status. The constructor has two IMPORTING parameters:
    TEXTID of the SOTR_CONC type
This parameter can be used to determine which of your exception texts the exception will use.
    PREVIOUS of the CX_ROOT type
This parameter can be used to assign the PREVIOUS attribute a previous exception.
    Methods
In exception classes, you can define your own methods. The following two predefined methods are inherited from the root class CX_ROOT:
    GET_TEXT
Sends back the exception texts of a class (controlled by the TEXTID attribute) as a string.
    GET_SOURCE_POSITION
Returns the program name, the name of a possible include program, and the line number of the statement that raised the exception.
    Attributes
The attributes of exception classes are used to transport additional information on an error situation to the handler. The main piece of information is, however, always the fact that an exception of a particular class has occurred. The following attributes are inherited from CX_ROOT:
    TEXTID
Used to specify the exception of a class more precisely by using several exception texts. Is evaluated in the GET_TEXT method.
    PREVIOUS
If an exception is mapped to another exception, a reference to the original exception can be defined in this attribute via the EXPORTING addition of the RAISE EXCEPTION statement and by means of the constructor IMPORTING PARAMETER with the same name. This can result in a chain of exception objects. In the event of a runtime error, the exception texts of all the exceptions in the chain are output. Mapping an exception to another exception is only beneficial if the context in which the original exception occurred is important for characterizing the error situation.
    KERNEL_ERRID
The name of the associated runtime error is stored in this attribute if the exception was raised by the runtime environment, for example, COMPUTE_INT_ZERODIVIDE with a division by zero. If the exception is not handled, precisely this runtime error occurs.
Parameters cannot be transferred to the constructor for this attribute. If the exception is raised with RAISE EXCEPTION, the attribute is set to initial.
    Global Exception Classes
Global exception classes are defined and managed in the Class Builder. If the correct naming convention (prefix CX_) and the class type Exception Class is chosen when a new class is created, the Class Builder automatically becomes the Exception Builder.
The Exception Builder offers precisely the functionality required to define exception classes and generates independently-defined components that must not be changed. When classes are created, the category of the exception must be specified, in other words, whether it is to inherit from CX_STATIC_CHECK, CX_DYNAMIC_CHECK, or CX_NOCHECK.
Tab Pages of the Exception Builder
The Exception Builder has the tab pages Properties, Attributes, Methods, and Texts.
The properties do not normally need to be changed.
Except for the four inherited attributes mentioned above, further public attributes can be generated by the Exception Builder. The contents of these attributes specify the exception more clearly and manage the exception texts.
All of the methods are inherited from CX_ROOT. New methods cannot be added. The instance constructor is generated automatically. It ensures that, when an exception is raised, the attributes have the right values. It also transfers the text of the superclass for an exception class whose exception text is not specified explicitly.
The instance constructor is generated on the basis of the attributes, which are set up on the basis of the exception texts. Changing the attributes in superclasses can, therefore, invalidate the constructors of subordinate classes. The constructors of subordinate classes can be regenerated under Utilities ® CleanUp ® Constructor.
Texts are a special feature of exception classes and the Exception Builder. For further information, refer to Exception Texts.
    Local Exception Classes
Local exception classes can be defined for specific exceptions that only occur within one single ABAP program. The condition for a local exception class is that it inherits from one of the three classes CX_STATIC_CHECK, CX_DYNAMIC_CHECK, or CX_NO_CHECK, or from their subordinate classes. An individual constructor and individual attributes can be created. Individual methods should not be created, however, and the methods of superclasses should not be redefined.
    Examples of Local Exception Classes
    report DEMO_LOCAL_EXCEPTION_1.
    class CX_LOCAL_EXCEPTION definition
                            inheriting from CX_STATIC_CHECK.
    endclass.
    start-of-selection.
        try.
          raise exception type CX_LOCAL_EXCEPTION.
        catch CX_LOCAL_EXCEPTION.
          message 'Local Exception!' type 'I'.
      endtry.
This example shows a minimal local exception class, which is simply the local representation of one of the three direct subordinate classes of CX_ROOT. It can be used in the program.
    report DEMO_LOCAL_EXCEPTION_2.
    class CX_LOCAL_EXCEPTION definition
                            inheriting from CX_STATIC_CHECK.
      public section.
        data LOCAL_TEXT type STRING.
methods CONSTRUCTOR importing TEXT type STRING.
    endclass.

        catch CX_LOCAL_EXCEPTION into OREF.
          message OREF->LOCAL_TEXT type 'I'.
      endtry.
In this example, the exception class from the previous example is extended to include an individual attribute and constructor. The IMPORTING parameter of the constructor must be supplied when the exception is raised (it is required here). The attribute can be evaluated in the handler of the exception.

        catch CX_LOCAL_EXCEPTION into OREF.
          TEXT = OREF->GET_TEXT( ).
          message TEXT type 'I'.
      endtry.
In this example, an exception class is derived from one of the predefined exception classes for error situations in the runtime environment. An individual constructor is defined with an individual IMPORTING parameter that supplies the superclass constructor with this parameter. When the exception is handled, the exception text, as defined in the superclass, is read with GET_TEXT.

  • Error while creating new user in Oracle 11i EBS

I am getting following error while creating new user. How solve this issue?
“Unable to load java class % specified profile option SIGNON_PASSWORD_CUSTOM. Please verify that the class exists and that it implements the java interface oracle.apps.fnd.security.PasswordValidation”.

Following is the text from Note for Custom Password Validation logic:
Customers who wish to use their own password validation logic may do
so by writing their own Java classes that implement the
      oracle.apps.fnd.security.PasswordValidation Java interface.  The
interface requires 3 methods to be implemented:
      1) public boolean validate(String user, String password)
        - This method takes a username and password, and then returns true
or false, indicating whether the user's password is valid or invalid,
      respectively.
      2) public String getErrorStackMessageName()
        - This method returns the name of the message to display when the
user's password is deemed invalid (i.e., the validate() method returns
      false).
      3) public String getErrorStackApplicationName()
        - This method returns the application shortname for the
      aforementioned error message.
After writing the Java class to perform customized password
validation, the customer must then set the value of the profile option
SIGNON_PASSWORD_CUSTOM to be the full name of the class.  If, for
example, the name of the Java class is
oracle.apps.fnd.security.AppsPasswordValidation, then the value of the
      SIGNON_PASSWORD_CUSTOM profile option must be
      oracle.apps.fnd.security.AppsPasswordValidation.  Note that AOL/J
will attempt to load this class dynamically.  Hence it is necessary to
make the class accessible by AOL/J.  This means that in Forms, the
class must first be loaded into the database using the loadjava
      command.
