Creating New Functions and Risks in RAR 5.3
All,
I need to create a set of new functions and risks in RAR 5.3. What is the best way to do this?
I tried to export existing functions and modify what I thought were the relevant tables. Next I tried to import this into Rule Architect > Utilities > Import Rules. I got the confirmation the import uploaded successfully and a rule generation job started. The job took a while and when it comepleted I looked for the functions and they weren't there. What do you all advise?
Thanks,
Grace Rae
yes Frank is right. if few functions then better do with Rule Architect
else you must understand interdependency of various table
did you defined which Business Process thsoe function will belong to.......
check table
VIRSA_CC_BUSPRC
VIRSA_CC_BUSPRCT
VIRSA_CC_FUNC
VIRSA_CC_FUNCT
virsa_cc_func*
functions and the object they pulled and actions , all these interrelations should be taken care of.....
better refer to default rule sets send by SAP, that's the way you have to create.....
regards,
Surpreet

[svn] 2312: CursorManager: New functionality and a fix for SDK-15029
Revision: 2312
Author: [email protected]
Date: 2008-06-30 17:24:01 -0700 (Mon, 30 Jun 2008)
Log Message:
CursorManager: New functionality and a fix for SDK-15029
* NEW: When the mouse leaves a window/stage where a cursor is set, the cursor no longer sits on the edge of the screen until the mouse comes back into the window, it disappears.
* NEW: In AIR, when the mouse leaves an active window and glides over an inactive window (without giving it focus) where a cursor is set, the system pointer will be hidden and the custom cursor will appear while gliding over that window, and disappear when you leave that window.
* FIX: When a cursor is set in a child Window, and the mouse moves over another Window or WindowedApplication, the cursor no longer disappears -- the correct system pointer or custom cursor will display.
* Fixed listener leaks when switching systemManagers (neither Jason nor I can tell when/why it would happen in CursorManager, however).
Reviewer: Jason
Bugs: SDK-15029
Doc: No
QA: Yes, here's an exhaustive list of ideas:
* We'll need tests for the new behaviors.
* For all tests, we need to try behavior in air AND behavior in (sa)player, and test regressions.
* Please test SDK-15583 again, all other cursor tests.
* Take the test case for SDK-15029 and open up TWO MyWindows. Test how the cursors change across all three app windows when they are overlapped like a Venn diagram, with different combinations of custom cursors on and off -- we should have test cases for all of this behavior.
* Test that custom cursors work properly when the mouse leaves a non-rectangular stage with transparency.
* Test mouse drag situations -- drag off stage, release, move back to stage; drag off and back onto stage, etc.
* In my tests, I found a lot of bad behavior in AIR, and player seemed to be fine. Do we have drag and drop use cases for AIR with custom cursors?
A list of some bugs I encountered:
* BUG (cosmetic): If the mouse is outside the stage when a cursor changes for the first time (say you toggle a checkbox which sets the cursor using the keyboard), the cursor will appear on the stage in the last known mouse position. When the mouse returns to the stage, everything will start working correctly again.
* BUG (cosmetic): In AIR, if you drag out, and back into the window, then release, a MOUSE_OUT is fired again over the stage, which is wrong. The mouse coords given are (-1,-1), also wrong. This causes the system cursor to show instead of the custom cursor.
* BUG: In AIR: if you drag off the edge of a Window with a custom cursor, the cursor will vanish. The MOUSE_OUT event correctly event fires while dragging off the window. Even though the handler tells the system mouse cursor to appear, it doesn't -- might be an AIR issue, since the mouse is still dragging when told to show. If you move back over the active window without dragging, the cursor goes back to normal.
* BUG: In AIR: if you drag over another window with a cursor, MOUSE_MOVE events don't fire on that other window until you let go. Therefore, a custom cursor in that window does not get drawn, nor does a system cursor. If you move back over the active window without dragging, the cursor goes back to normal.
* BUG: In AIR: When dragging, off a window, Event.MOUSE_LEAVE only fires after the mouse is let go (unlike MOUSE_OUT), EVEN IF the mouse is dragged back over the window and released over the window. So you're told the mouse left when it didn't.
* BUG: In Player: I could never get Event.MOUSE_LEAVE to fire when added to the stage in saplayer or browser.

Can I create new TeamProjectCollection and TeamProject on TFS using Tfs API programmatically
Hi,
I want to ask that is there is any way to create new TeamProjectCollection and then new TeamProject on that collection using tfs api programmatically ?
Thanks in advance.Hi Hassan,
There is no API to create a team project, but you can script it using devenv. You can check the links below for more information:

Enabling Create New Query and Personalize in Check Status
Hi All,
We followed below steps Enable Create New Query and Personalize in Check Status
Go to the role of the user - PFCG - Authorizations - Change authorization data - Cross-application authorization objects - authorizations for Personal Object Work List (POWL) iViews
Specified the application ID POWL_APPID - SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS
What should be done to enable define query and personalize for all users.
We have changed the following settings -
In activity POWL_CAT - '??' , POWL_LSEL-DISALLOWED - POWL_QUERY - ?? , POWL_RA_AL - ?? , POWL_TABLE - ??.
With our current settings Create New Query and Personalize in Check Status appear but are disabled (greyed out)
New Query Button appears but clicking on it produces no output.
Nikhil
Edited by: Nikhil Malvankar on Sep 12, 2011 5:57 AMYou could the following to check if the Query still exists in the database:
Open SQL Management Studio and connect to the SQL Server hosting the ConfigMgr database
In SQL Managemnt Studio, Expand Database, Expand CM_YourSiteCode
Expand tables and find the dbo.Queries table
Right-click the dbo.Queries table and select Select Top 1000 Rows
See if you can find your "ghost" Query
Please note - it IS NOT supported
to make direct changes to ConfigMgr database so I would properly call PSS on this one before you start getting creative. -
All my photos on my phone are in one album. Is there a way to create new albums and move some of them?
With photos transferred from your computer, you create the albums or folders on your computer.
If you manually manage photo storage on your computer, create a parent folder that will store the named folders of photos you want transferred to your iPhone. Place the named folders of photos in this parent folder and select the parent folder under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by a sync. The folders of photos inside of the parent folder on your computer's hard drive will be transferred to your iPhone as separate albums. To add an additional album of photos to your iPhone, place the folder of photos in the parent folder followed by a sync. To remove an album of photos from your iPhone, move the folder of photos outside of the parent folder followed by a sync. -

Creating a function and return something from an XML file
Hi!
I'm working with timeline actionscript. I want to create a function that loads my xmlfile and returns an xmlobject with the file's content.
This is what I got so far:
my_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, getXML("myxml.xml")); //1067: Implicit coercion of a value of type void to an unrelated type Function.
function getXML(fn:String):void{
var infoLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
infoLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, xmlLoaded);
infoLoader.load(new URLRequest(fn));
var myXML:XML = xmlLoaded(); //1136: Incorrect number of arguments. Expected 1.
trace(myXML);
function xmlLoaded(e:Event):XML{
return e.target.data;
//trace(e.target.data);
Can anyone take a look and perhaps point me in the right direction?
ThanksI have never used a listcomponent, so I can only help with the steps before filling it with data.
I think you should at start of your application load the XML with filenames and just after it's completed, e.g. in Event.COMPLETE handler, load all other XMLs looping through filenamesXML, like this
var filenamesXML:XML;
var XMLsToLoad:uint = 0;
function filenamesXMLLoaded(e:Event):void
filenamesXML = XML(e.target.data);
XMLsToLoad = filenamesXML.filenames.children().length();
for (var i:uint =1; i < filenamesXML.filenames.children().length(); i++)
getXML( filenamesXML.filenames.children()[i] ); // the function from my previous post, don't forget to implement it
//modify the minor xml load handler from the previous post
function xmlLoaded(e:Event):void
var loadedXML:XML = XML(e.target.data);
xmlArray.push(loadedXML);
XMLsToLoad--;
//assign the one click handler to all buttons, a loop here would be quite handy
function clickHandler(e:MouseEvent):void
if (XMLsToLoad == 0) //check if all xmls have been completely loaded
switch (e.target.name) // swith by clicked button's instance name
case "button_1":
// here you have to implement supplying listcomponent with data, I think a loop again will be a good idea
break;
case "button_2":
// ibid.
break;

Regarding Rules, Functions and Risks
Hello,
1. Does SAP provide a standard ruleset for SoD? Does it come with the AC 5.3 .SCA?
2. What is the relation between Rules, Risks, Functions and Business Process?
Thanks.Hi Gautam,
Just to make it more explanatory, lets take few examples for each entity:
1. Business Process (BP):
It can be a department, group or an independent functional unit in an organization. E.g Finance or HR or Material Management.
2. Function:
It can be a set of activites or say set of simlilar activities in a BP. E.g in SAP Security - SU01 and PFCG combination can be termed as a function - "User and role maintenence" .
3. Risk:
It can be a combination of 2 or more functions which when given to a single user, can be harmful to the organization.
4. Rule:
It is generated from Risks automatically. E.g if A and B are 2 funtions in a risk R, such that:
A has transactions X and Y and
B has transactions M and N
so there can be multiple rules generated here for Risk R , with the combinations like X and M rule, X and N rule, Y and M rule, Y and N rule etc.
5. Ruleset:
As the name suggest, is a set of Rules, generated from Risks. Two Rulesets may contain same, similar or dissimilar risks, based on the lanscape for which you want to use the ruleset. E.g you might have ruleset R1 having Risks 1 to N in your development system and you might have ruleset R 2 having Risks 1 to M in your Production system.
Hope this makes it a bit clearer to you know. For more dependencies within these entities and how they behave with eah other, I would suggest if you create each of them and then observe their linkages. The config guide from SAP would be more than enough for this purpose.
Regards,
Hersh.

Firefox worked earlier today (August 19, 2013 about 6:30 pm EDT). When I opened Firefix after 9pm EDT, Firefox attempted to perform an update. No error was given, but now Firefox will not start. Running a Windows 8 machine with all updates and current security software with no known malware on my system.
When I try to start Firefox, the system shows the "working" circle, but then nothing. I created a new profile, and got Firefox to start, but whenever I try to go to any website, Firefox crashes.
