Creating new/ modifying existing interco mismatch report

Can someone help me understand how I can modify an existing interco mismatch report or create a new one in HFM? I am familiar with financial reporting studio but that does not not seem to be where you work with mismatch reports. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Its looking that you are trying to create/work on Matching/Mismatch of Intercompany through reports.
These match and mismatch reports can be created in "Reporting" section in HFM itself.
Here in two different sections, you can mention the ICP accounts/combination and also mention their matching Account/combinations.
The two sections are matched against each other.
Try it

How can we create a formula variable for COPA Drill down reports in KE3E? In standard global variables formula variable is not avaiable, I need to create a formula variables like ...from period, to period, last fiscal year and next fiscal year..
While creating report in KE31/KE35 trying create local variables, but it doesn't.
Can any body advise how can we create a new variables for "from period, to period, last fiscal year and next fiscal year.."

1. KE3E
2. Type of Var = Char Value
    Enter variable name, say, ZPERIOD
    Field Name = PERDE
    Replacement type = Entry
    Enter Description
    Parameter/selectop = Selection Option
For Fiscal Year
    Type of Var = Char Value
    Enter variable name, say, ZGJAHR
    Field Name = GJAHR
    Replacement type = Entry
    Enter Description
    Parameter/selectop = Parameter
For Next and Last Fiscal Year
When you define your form in KE34/KE35
Use the variable ZGJAHR in your report
In the column for Next Year, Enter "ZGJAHR+1" as the local variable for GJAHR
In the Column for Last year, Enter "ZGJAHR-1" as the local variable for GJAHR

Creating new .OCE file in Interactive reporting Studio

Hi all,
I was trying to make a new document with a new database connection file, for Essbase on Interactive reporting studio 9.3.1 ( windows 32 bit)
For this purpose I used
connection software: Essbase
Dtaabase : Essbase
But some critical error message was displayed and the process couldn't proceed for user name , Pwd. and Host name.
While going through OTN discussion for this issue I came to know that we need to do the following:
start->All Programs->Hyperion->Reporting and Analysis->Utilities and Administration->Service Configurator->Modules->Local Service Configurator-> [sign in]-> [doubleclick on local service "DAS1_<servername>"]->Data Source->New...->
Connectivity type -- Essbase
Database type -- Essbase
" Signing in" into LSC was not successful still I could progress as shown in above navigation.
However even this could not resolve the issue.Even restarting the server was of no help.
Please help if any of you have the solution.

Forgot to mention I installed version 9.2

Not able to create new repots and view existing reports.

When I try to create new reports I get the following message and then system disconnects from the server.
"Could not determine a value for variable 0DAT from the authorizations"
Please help.

hi my friends...
i am developing report using Reuse_alv_grid_display...
my requirement is... At runtime
          1. i may create new row on the grid (empty row inwhich i may enter the data).
          2. i may delete a existing row in the grid
          3. i may edit the existing data...
then i have to trace the modification in the grid in one internal table...
how can i get into this.....
note:
i have some idea to edit the existing record in the grid and trace those modification,

Savita,
You can not modify SQVI system generated code. You need to go to SAVI change mode and make modifications. If your requirement is a sort of additional fields or inserting come code into the program , then SQVI is not the choice. You need to use Infoset Queries (SQ03, SQ02, Sq01).

Error when attempting to create new Crystal Report against SAP BW

We're getting an error when attemptiing to create a new report using the SAP toolbar in CR:
"Failed to retrieve SSO2 logon ticket. Please contact your BW administrator".
Any ideas? We're able to run existing reports fine. Just can't create new ones using the toolbar.

Saving tiff or jpg files within a single, existing psd file without creating new files

     Hi, I just bought CS5 and I wonder if it is possible to save multiple images that are created within a single psd file in jpg or other image file formats without creating new psd files, but rather saving them as "embedded" within the single psd file in whih they are created. For example, one could select a portion of an image that one has created, and save just that selection as a jpg without leaving the existing psd file, and after that, one could select another portion of the same image and save it as a tiff, etc. Is this possible?

No and Yes!
You can do much of what you want, but not exactly as you described it. You can certainly make multiple selections and have them saved in the psd file. You can also save jpg version of those selections, but you have to do a little extra work.
Lets say, by way of example, you have an image and you want to make three different selections within that image, save each selection as a jpeg, and save those selections along with the full image as a psd file. You can do the following, which is just one way of several to proceed, with your image opened.
1. Make selection 1, hit Ctrl+J to jump that selection to a new layer
2. Make selection 2, hit Ctrl+J to jump that selection to a new layer
3. Make selection 3, hit Ctrl+J to jump that selection to a new layer
4. Alt click on the layer with selection 1. This makes only that layer visible.
5. Click on Layer > Duplicate Layer > destination New > give it a name
6. This creates a new (temporary document). Open it.
     click Image > Trim > transparent pixels
     click Save for Web & Devces, select your parameters and save your jpeg
     Close and discard this temporary file.
7. Repeat steps 4,5 & 6 for selection 2 & selection 3
8. Save your psd file
You now have three jpegs and a psd file with all the information to create or modify the original selections

BAPI to modify items and create new ones in Purchase Order

We need to change purchase orders (PO's) using a BAPI.
We need not only to modify and delete the existing items in a PO, but also create new
items in the same PO. Is it possible to do that using the bapi called BAPI_PO_CHANGE?
If it isn't so, which BAPI should we use?

Use the Function module BAPI_PO_CHANGE. This BAPI changes the existing line and also will append new lines to the existing POs.
The other mandatory part is to populate the Change Parameter tables too.

I want to be able to create a new folder for each test report based on serial number. Each time a UUT is tested, I want the report to go to the appropriate folder. What is the best way to do this?

Hello Tman,
This is a slightly tricky question. The reason being, the report options like the report path etc, are set before you see the serial number prompt when you run your UUT. There might be other ways of getting around this, but a quick solution would be modifying the process model.
I modified the PreUUT callback to set the report options. I passed the reportOptions as a parameter to this sequence. In the PreUUT sequence, I set the following fields:
Parameters.ReportOptions.GeneratePath=False
Parameters.ReportOptions.ReportFilePath= "c:\\"+ Locals.SerialNumber +"\\report.xml"
I hope this would give you an idea.

Open the Central Configuration Manager (CCM) from "Start > BusinessObjects XI Release 2 > BusinessObjects Enterprise > Central Configuration Manager".
Click on the "Add Server" button, which will open the Server Wizard.
Here you can add another Webi Report Server to your Enterprise system.
