Also would be nice if you let everyone know how to export from Animate as this might be confusing. You need the OAM file when placing in Muse or Dreamweaver, to get that, you will have to go into your publish settings in Animate and check Animate Deployment Package... Hope this is helpful...

I had a question about the new browser fill feature. You can fill the entire browser with an image, color or gradient, but is there a way to fill the browser with a slide show? I was wanting to do a full screen slide show and have the images scale down with the width of the browser window. I've been trying to fix it to one side or another of the window, but I'm having trouble with that. How would I go about doing this in Muse? Here is an example of the website I've been working on. www.hoodrich.com Right now it has a solid grey color on both sides, but my ideal site would be to have the slideshow be fixed to the entire window. please explain more detail such as what the hardware is and what it does and adobe should have small workshops similar to apple retail stores i get that you need special hardware but which one like what do i need to make playback run smoothly how do i make that line from nothing to red to yellow to green or blue someone respond quickly oh and what is mercury play back engine and murcurey transmit.

Adobe's "Adobe Font Development Kit for OpenType" (AFDKO) documentation states that "AFDKO is for adding OpenType data to existing fully-designed PostScript and Truetype fonts, and for proofing them. It does not offer tools for designing or editing glyphs."

Problem with Indesign CC 2014 (Creative Cloud)

I tryed to install InDesign CC 2014 (in a Mac) from Creative Cloud but the installation hangs in 17%... Checking the logs shows me that there is a problem with the file.
Here is a screenshot of the logs
If this is correct the selected text says that the file is corrupted...
Note: This is the unique app that give me problems... I have installed Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Pro, etc. without any problem.
Any idea?

try circumventing your cc app and see if that helps:

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

Creating PDF forms in Frame (switch from Word?)

Here's another "can I switch from Word" question. I am an old (5.5) Frame ACE now in a new job where we use Word. Frame would be a much better choice in many ways, for many reasons.
I could use some help figuring out whether Frame creates forms that convert easily to PDF. As an end product, what we need is a PDF form with a large number of fixed-length text fields; users must be able to download the form and fill it in at their leisure, either all at once or in stages, saving their work as they go.
These files are currently constructed in Word out of tables. They are a terrible mess and must be recreated from scratch. If Frame handles forms well, we can start that work fresh in Frame and dump Word completely. (This is a question I could answer for myself in a few minutes if I could download a trial. Bad timing.)
Can somebody with a current copy of Frame tell me how it handles forms and whether it's possible to use Frame to create PDF forms with plenty of fixed-length text fields, some of them quite long?

Users are most likely to simply have Adobe Reader.
Sorry to be asking for so much help--it is rather maddening not to be able to download the trial and take a quick look for myself.
Are form fields defined directly within Frame, or is it necessary to hack the PDF? If within Frame, how is length of input defined--by number of characters? Or, as with LiveCycle Designer, can you "limit length to visible area"?

Because I know enough to be dangerous... I was trying to extend the two outside columns down.... Instead of just using faux columns which I have fixed since I posted the question.
The other link problem is the left sidebar links. When you go to the event photos page I have a repeat of the sidebar links that are on the newsletter page. I used named anchors on the newsletter page to link to the particular article. From the Event Photos page the links look like this:

The problem I am having is that some of these go to the newsletter page and the anchor and some do not (I get an error message saying it can't find the page). To add to the problem is that when we choose say the President's Message, when it goes to the newsletter page and the correct anchor, the newsletter page is missing all the links to the graphics... the photos are missing the graphic for the faux columns is missing. It makes no sense. When I preview the newsletter page from Dreamweaver everything shows up fine.
I do not know if all of this is being caused because I haven't posted this stuff to the site or what. I've tried re-booting both the browser and Dreamweaver, dumping the cache and still the same nonsense.
Got any ideas?

Creating PDF forms: possible in InDesign?

I'd like to create PDF forms to be used for email questionnaires and surveys. The last time I looked into it I found that I needed to create the PDF first and then use another application (I can't remember the name) to add the fields for the form. I found it to be a little clumsy, and didn't have the layout control that I do with InDesign. Is there a way of creating forms entirely in InDesign?
Any help would be appreciated.

That would be Acrobat Pro.
Nothing ID can do for you here. You still create the PDF with a layout package, and add form fields (which are a PDF feature, not a layout thing) with Acrobat. Fortunately, Acrobat has a nearly magical Form Field wizard that'll help you through that process as painless as possible.

What's the recommended way to try out Creative Cloud in this case?
I'm time sensitive, as CS6 is mission critical for me. Can't have any down time.

I have CS6 Premium installed (the upgrade from CS5 Design Premium)
Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, Acrobat X, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Media Encoder, Extenson Manager
So, there's only Lightroom and Muse left. I dont use either much.
I'd really like to see it work in my normal work scenario with the above apps.
Do I need to download separate copies of the CS apps to run under Creative Cloud?
Or can I temporarily deactivate the CS6 apps' perpetual serial and run under Creative Cloud?

I'm fairly new to this, but I think it has to do with the way you have the drop downs named. Did you copy one then keep pasting it in each field? If so, that is the problem. You should rename each one with a different number: Dropdown1, Dropdown2, etc. I think that might solve the issue.
