Creating some sort of text template for multiple pictures

Hello, I'm new to the forums and new to photoshop elements. Let me lay out the situation so you have a better idea of what I'm trying to do and why. I work at a real estate office and we are going to hang a tv on the wall and display a slideshow of our homes for sale and ontop of the pictures I am going to add text to each photo with information about the home. I want to be able to add text in the same proportions in the same spot on each photograph. Is there some automatic way of doing this? I will have to hand type different info on each photo. The pictures come from different cameras (each agent takes their own photos) with different resolutions and doing it one by one (ive done just a few out of over a hundred so far) I'm finding out that one size text works on one but when I try to use the same size font on the next photo it's either too big or too small, I guess this is because of the different resolutions of each camera. I know I may have rambled a bit here but if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be thankful.

The font size is correlated with the resolution.
Have you investigated use of Powerpoint to construct a continuous-loop presentation?

    The ghosted/grayed values correspond with auto sorting. Auto sorting drops the leading articles, a/an/the, and variations in other languages, so that for example, The Beatles sorts as Beatles under B unless you explicitly override the auto sort by putting The Beatles in the sort value so that it sorts under T.

    This was discontinuted in CS5 howerver you could migrate that plugin to CS5.  I don`t know if you can do this with CS6.
    To my knowledge they only provided a revised Contact sheet II script for CS6. In my opinion a very bad idea because they should have put all efforts and resources to enhance the Output Module PDF contact sheet that has far more options.
    Still not using web galleries but the goal for web gallery was also to use this in the Adobe Output Module, maybe that provides you the options you want?

    Hi Roger,
    FormsCentral does not currently support user-defined form templates. However, there are a couple of options available that you might find useful.
    To define/use a template for an entire form:
    1. Create a form that will act as your template.
    2. To create a new form based on that template simply click the "Duplicate" button in the My Forms dashboard.
    The new form will contain the same set of form items as the template form.
    To define/use a template for one or more form items that are common to many of your forms:
    1. Create a form containing the template form items.
    2. To use the fields in different forms you can:
         i. Open the template form.
         ii. Select the form item(s) and type Ctrl+C.
         iii. Create or open the target form.
         iv. Type Ctrl+V to paste form items into the target form.

  • Wrong period values in Text template for upload of Plan data (KP06/KEPM)

    Hi,
    We are facing an issue in the upload template in text format for Upload of Cost Centre Planning data (Transaction KP06) in ECC 6.0.
    We have some User defined layouts for Excel upload of plan data. If we save the file as a text (tab delimited) file, the Period values above the Column"Period" do not correspond to the correct periods in ECC 6.0. for e.g. the values above Period 1, Period 2, Period 3 are shown as 6, 5, 4 instead of the correct values 1,2,3. These values are considered by the system for uploading the Planning value in the appropriate Periods and hence the values entered in the Column Period 1 in the text file are incorrectly uploaded by the system in Period 6 based on the values generated by the system in the text file.
    However, we do not encounter this issue in the 4.6C system where the values are correctly shown.
    We are facing a similar issue with the text upload template for Sales Planning data in CO-PA (Transaction KEPM), where the values generated by the system do not correspond to the correct period.

    When I use the Administration Portal to create a page with portlets in the Portal Resource Library, I can choose to use that page it in my portal. The problem is that I can use it only once. How can I crate a page template with portlets so I can use use it as a template for many page instances in one portal?

    Oh sorry I didn't see the part where you wanted it as a webcam for Skype. I didn't know such a thing exists unless one of the above listed programs have that feature.

  • Creating a simple Template for multiple images

    I work for an online company, and we deal with displaying multiple images on our site.  I've been just cropping sets and just droping them in a file and organizing them that way, but I was wondering if there is a faster way of doing this in Photoshop with Templates maybe? but it needs to be easier and faster than the process I'm using now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't comprehend what your doing now.   Photoshop is not a file editor however it can create files that have more then one image. Perhaps you could describe what you want to do.  What is a set, what is in the set, how many images in a set is that number always the same how do you want to crop do you have some layout in mind some size requirement?

    Here's the scenario:
    25 WXPSP2 laptops with only ZENworks Desktop Management agent installed.
    Laptops have at least 4 user profiles each. All laptops have same
    configuration. I want to create just one image for all laptops and am
    using personality migration to handle the different user profiles on each
    laptop.
    We are using ZENworks 7 on a NetWare server.
    Using the DNA Template Editor, I create a template by selecting All local
    user profiles on source machine, selecting User Accounts Settings under
    System, and name the template DNAusers.dtf.
    I then create an application object, CollectDNA, to collect the
    personality following the instructions in guide. I associate CollectDNA
    with a workstation and select Force Run and App Launcher. This is the
    parameter setting: (There is no VOL1 on this server)
    /D \\Server1\SYS\ddna\data\%CN%\X-REMOTE1 /T \\Server1
    \SYS\ddna\templates\DNAusers.dtf /X
    I go to X-REMOTE1 laptop and login as an administrator but nothing
    happens. I then click on Application Explorer and double-click on
    CollectDNA object and get: could not launch CollectDNA. The network
    path was not found. Checking My Network Places, I see no NetWare
    Services listed. And, although the ZENworks Desktop Management Agent
    policy says to display the ZENworks authentication dialog, the login
    screen never appears.
    Any suggestions?

    OK so I changed %CN% to "Admin" in the application object and restarted
    laptop and logged in as Admin in the ZENworks Desktop Management
    authentication screen. Nothing happened until I clicked on the
    application windows and then it tried to launch CollectDNA but then I get
    the Application Launcher status: the network path was not found.
    I saw an earlier response you gave to someone else who had the same
    message and did the same but still get this error message.
    Do you see anything else that I'm doing incorrectly?

    i have 50 users on one machine that i need to have an identical non-standard dock for each of them. is there a way of doing that without having to individually change all 50 accounts? anybody? does anyone have an idiots guide how to do this?

    You would need to set up the Dock exactly as you want it then migrate the file:
    ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist

  • How do I copy and paste text style for multiple video tracks?

    hello,
    I am creating multiple video tracks with text.  I want to easily copy and paste the style, i.e., Font, Color, Size - rather than having to scroll down the giant list of fonts to find the one I want, then change the color, then change the size - each and every time.  This is arduous.
    I tried copy / paste of one text onto a new video track, but when I type in a different word, it alters the original.
    I have 9 tracks of video for 9 different texts that will pop in and out of my video.  I would like to be able to copy/paste then just change the text.  This would save me a huge amount of time.

    I know of no way to alphabetized the Adobe Styles that come with the program.
    If you had the time and the inclination, you could rename them all to force them to appear alphabetically, but that does not seem all that practical.
    But, if your interest is in the Styles that you save and you do not hit the Reset File List, the new Styles will be at the bottom of the list and you can name them so that they appear that alphabetically at the bottom of the whole Styles list. But that does not address the matter of you having to scroll to the bottom of the Styles list.
    In some instances, some things that you think that you cannot do in Premiere Elements obvious features, can be done by computer keyboard shortcuts. I check the keyboard shortcuts under the Edit Menu/Keyboard Customization and unfortuately did not find any that would be applicable to this situation.
    As for your changes in one text file popping up unwantedly in another text file, that is because you have text files with the same name. Look into creating duplicates (with different file names) in Project Assets at the onset.

    I need to migrate the existing reports from SQL Server Reporting Services to Crystal Report 2008, and the column order in the report is very important to the clients since clients have existing code to ingest these reports into their database. Now I want to create a single template with lot of parameters for all reports. My question is how I might use one template to create multiple reports with different column orders in the reports?
    For example, client A has the following column order in their report: firstName, LastName, DateBirth, SSN. Client B has the following column order in their report: SSN, DateBirth, LastName, FirstName. Can I use one template to create these multiple reports?

    -As I mentioned you can find Template Field object in Insert menu of crystal report Designer 2008.
    As soon as you select Template Field object you will be able to see a box beside ur mouse cursor. Drag and drop this box at required place. Now when you place this object in report you will get some thing like this "<TemplateField1>" listed under Formula Fields tree. Double click "<TemplateField1>" formula to add your conditions.
    -I have not tested it for large amount of Customers. However as the number of customer increases the number of conditions will get increased.
    For the customer that want the same ordering of columns you can put those customers under one condition.
        for Example...
              if(?Client in ['clientA','clientA']) then
                        <TableName>.<Field>......
    -What do you mean be 40 columns? Do you mean 40 fields or you want to show 40 columns in report? Please elaborate.

    The only approach I can think of is to create a template report which uses variables
    For each column you would need to variable
    v_columnAName and v_columnAValue
    v_columnAName would have a if statement in it
    =if([client]="clientA" or [client]="clientC";NameOf([firstName]);if([client]="clientB";NameOf([SSN]);NameOf([lastName]));
    v_columnA would have a if statement in it
    =if([client]="clientA" or [client]="clientC";[firstName];if([client]="clientB";[SSN],[lastName]));
    This would only work when you had a small set of clients.
    This might be more managable if it was done in the universe

    I have created a page using Blank - Layered Paper. I would like to create more pages with the same title heading and text box. Is there something comparable to a "save as" function or another way to do this without cutting and pasting in my heading and text box every time I make a new page?

    Create another new site on the same domain file. Call it something like Template.
    Create your template page in this site.
    When you need a new page for your site, click on the template, duplicate it, drag it up to the top site and rename it.

  • Allowing clear-text logins for multiple users

    I'm not sure if this is the correct section to place this question in, so Mods, please move if needed.
    As many know, Apple changed the AFP Client defaults in 10.5.x so that clear-text logins to servers are disallowed by default. You can edit the afpcleartextallow option in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AppleShareClient.plist to enable it on a per user basis.
    What I wish to know is wether it's possible to allow clear-text logins on a global basis. I've looked at /Library/Preferences/com.apple.AppleShareClient.plist and it does not contain the afpcleartextallow option, and adding the option and setting it to "yes" (without editing the file in the user's preference folder) does not allow clear-text logins.
    Is there some global preference file that this option could be added to that would preclude me from having to edit the preference file for every user? Part of the reason it's a problem is if you have multiple user accounts on multiple machines, or network based home folders stored on an AFP server that only supports clear text, for example, a Netware 6.5 server running NFA for Mac.
    One problem I've seen is that until the user is actually at the desktop (well I think it's specifically when the Finder loads and reads the per-user preferences) the OS will prevent clear-text logins, regardless of the setting in the pref file, thus you cannot automatically mount volumes at login if the server only supports clear-text.
    Any suggestions or advice greatly welcomed.

    If you are familiar with the exchange man shell, use the new-mailboxsearch powershell cmdlet in your code.  You can pass it a list of -SourceMailboxes(use get-content to pass your .txt to a variable, you'll want to place each name on a new line) to
