Creating uniform tonal values for images in a montage

This image is made up of three images.  The two on the left are OK.  As you can see, the one on the right is much lighter in color with very different greens in particular.  Any suggestions on how can I make this lighter one similar to the other two?  I am using Photoshop CS4.
Many thanks

Having not seen the image you'd like to montage, I'd say match color would be something that might work for you. Moar about match color here: http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1332859&seqNum=3

  • Create a smart folder for images imported "TODAY"

    Is it possible to create a smart folder for images imported today? The only close option I have been able to find is by selecting the "import session" option, but that forces me to select from a series of sessions that have already been imported. I'd like to be able to have a single folder, day after day of what I imported today almost like the iPhoto "last roll" folder. Possible?

    There is a Filter Rule "Import Session" but as implemented (as you discovered) it isn't easy to use.
    What I do is:
    . add "Import Session" to the "List -- Expanded View" Metadata Overlay
    . click "Photos"
    . change to List
    . change to Expanded Overlay if needed
    . click the column header "Import Session" (note that this adds "Import Session" to the sort drop-down)
    . change back to Grid view as needed
    I use this to confirm imports, and to find any that I mis-placed.
    HTH.

  • How to create a default value for a JComboBox through his model

    Hi,
    I have created a "myComboBox" component.
    This component extend the standard Java JComboBox and simply add some helper features.
    The values that "myComboBox" display are coming from his bound model. (In fact, "myComboBox" has been designed to allow JComboBox to be implemented accordingly to the MVC design pattern: The model contains the data, the view the GUI and the controller handle the GUI events).
    My question is how can I add a default "none" item to the content displayed by an instance of "myComboBox" without doing any refactoring of the existing code implementing "myComboBox" ?
    Thank you very much for your help.

    It sounds like what you really want is to display "None" when the selected index = -1. Simple, write a custom list cell renderer that display's something instead of nothing when the index is -1.

  • Creating List of Values for Parameters in Crystal Report

    Dear All,
    I have created a Report using Crystal Report XI and integrated that with VB Dot Net.  It uses a Stored Procedure (SQL 2000) to retrieve data.  The stored procedure has some parameters.  When I run the VB dot net exe, it prompts for the parameters.  However, I like to pass a List of Values to the Parameters, which the end user must select from the same.
    How can I create a List of Values and attach to the Crystal Report.
    Please help me in this regard,
    Naren.

    Are you trying to set a bunch of default values (e.g.; 1st name, last name, address, order number, etc.), or an actual List of Values?
    Also, remember to search the forums for possible solutions. When I enter "parameter" in the search box, I get over 7 pages of links...
    The [notes|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_ossnotes&query=&adv=true] database and [articles|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/businessobjects-articles] are great information resources also.

  • How to create a new value for template classification??

    I want to classify a workflow template, I mean I will not classify my template as a general task. Using TA PFTC_CHG I get a list with all the entries that a customized in my system. My question is how to create a new entry in that list? System is 46C.
    thanks in advance for any hints
    Jochen Winler

    Hi Jochen,
    Follow the customiztion path:
    SAP Web Application server->Business Mgmt->SAP Business WF->Basic Settings->Maintain task classes
    (For 4.6c the path is:
    Basis Components->Business Mgmt->SAP Business WF->Basic Settings->Maintain task classes)
    By this you can maintain task class entry as you required.
    Hope this helps.
    Pls. close the thread once your problem is solved.

  • Alpha value for image

    the alpha value of all pixels of many images(jpg,gif) is coming out to be same(ie 255).why is it so? does alpha value really represents intensity?

    What colour model are you thinking of? Perhaps you'd find the Color.RGBtoHSB method helpful?

  • Can I create a Smart Collection for images with Paths?

    I'd like a folder that automatically collects any image i have in my library in which i've drawn a vector clipping path in Photoshop. Is this possible?

    I couldn't figure that out.
    I was hoping the file would contain a metadata call that said "Path: yes" or something like that on which I could set up the smart collection but I couldn't find one either in Lightroom or Finder.
    It's possible this piece of metadata doesn't exist, and if so I'll solve my problem with keywords, but I wanted to ask before i assumed.

  • Create a New Order for Images - Then Rename

    Hello,

    I have a series of jpg's that I would like to put in a different order by drag-n-drop into a different arrangement - then batch rename them with a sequential naming convention.
    Can I re-arrange images in PSE by drag-n-drop?
    Is there a renaming feature that is user defined?

    You did not say WHY you want to rename the jpegs. A common reason is that you want to use these photo files in a different program that will not "know" the sequence which you established within PS Elements.  If that is the situation, I would
    1- In the PSE 5 Organizer make a PSE Collection of those photos. You can drag and drop the thumbnails within the display of the Collection to establish sequence.
    2- Then with the thumbnails of the Collection displayed and selected, use the Export command on the File menu of the Organizer and use its Common Base Name option (which will use the Base that you enter and number according to the sequence of the Collection).
    FYI - The above process does make an additional copy of the photo files which it processes and allows you to choose the Windows folder in which they are saved: it does not rename the existing files.
    I suggest that you look in the PSE 5 help and read topics on Collection and Export. If you have additional questions then post back here.

  • Account Creation - Badi for Default values for BP Role and Sales Area

    Hi all,
    my requirement regards the possibility to create a new prospect (a link should be available in the navigation bar or create section).
    Logically, a bp role as "Prospect" and particoular sales area should be created automatically.
    I created an implementation for the BADI definition "BADI_CRM_BP_UIU_DEFAULTS". But don't know how to create the default values for BP role and Sales area:
    In my code
    assign cr_me->('VIEW') to <lv_view_name>.
      if sy-subrc ne 0.
        exit.
      endif.
      lv_viewname = <lv_view_name>.
      case lv_viewname.
        when 'AccountDetails.htm'.
    I obtain the viewname "AccountDetails" , the related context "Header". After I don't know how to proceed to obtain the related entities through the relationship BuilRolesRel and BuilSalesArrangementRel.
    Am I following the right way? Is there another solution to prepare the output for default values?
    Any kind of suggestion will be appreciated.

    I would like to create few F4 values for "Department responsible" & "Coordinator" for Quality notifications Please let me know how to do it.

    Dear Vemula Anji
    You can give the coordinator in the F4 if you have set in the config for partner type as Coordinator (user) ,
    partner function KU and partner type as US which means you are relating it to the SAP user.
    You can use organisation Unit ie the dept responsible only if you are using SAP HR. You can create the same using PP01 t code choosing the object type.

  • Uploading values for an image field in a web app. Nothing displays in layout.

    I've uploaded the values (using the import) for a field defined as an image in a web app. When I try to display the field, nothing shows up. The value correctly shows up when I look at Web App items after the upload / import. I've uploaded the same value in a text field, just to learn what was happening, and the text field displays the image just fine when added to the layout.
    I would like to use the image field type, as it's easier to correctly create the link when the web app is updated in the future.
    Here is what works in the layout: <a href="{tag_link to page}"> <img alt="" class="column66_award_thumb" id="thx" src="{tag_image thumb}" /></a>
    Note that {tag_image thumb} is a text field with the link stored in it. The value for each Web App Item which populates this field is a link to the image. (i.e. /Awards/139.jpg)
    Here is what I want to work: <a href="{tag_link to page}"> <img alt="" class="column66_award_thumb" id="thx" src="{tag_thumbnail image_value}" /></a>  , where {tag_thumbnail image_value} refers to a field defined as an image in the web app. It has the exact same value as {tag_image thumb}. I just copied the field values in the Excel spreadsheet (saved as .csv) when I uploaded it.
    It looks like the image field works fine only when I manually create it in the web app. If this is the case, using the upload capability disables any ability to use the image field type.
    Is there a workaround for this? Am I missing something?
    The page I'm working on is http://www.e-a-a.com/awards  When you view the source, you can see that the small thumbnail images are displaying just fine. (I'm using the text field). Whenever I substitute the image field name {tag_thumbnail image}, {tag_thumbnail image_nolink}, or {tag_thumbnail image_value}, the src value is always null.
    How do I fix?

    Hi there,
    To do it properly you need to resize the image. Prefably before you put it into BC. While you can for scale the image in CSS you do not want to do this. Why? Because the images are still very big and likely not optimised as they should be for the web.
    This means the page with these images will take a very long time to load for people, and people wont be to happy about that viewing your site.
    You need to use software such as photoshop if you have it or iphoto on a mac for example to edit, crop and size images before you upload them. If you do not have anything you can use free web based tools such as this one:
    http://pixlr.com/editor/
    You can also do this within BC itself in the file manager. If you click the image you can see options to resize it. The downside of that is that is done by pure math. It does not know what is in the photo and the results can make the image look squished etc.

  • Java returning incorrect values for width and height of a Tiff image

    I have some TIFF images (sorry, I cannot post them b/c of there confidential nature) that are returning the incorrect values for the width and height. I am using Image.getWidth(null) and have tried the relevant methods from BufferedImage. When I open the same files in external viewers (Irfanview, MS Office Document Imaging) they look fine and report the "correct" dimensions. When I re-save the files, my code works fine. Obviously, there is something wrong with the files, but why would the Java code fail and not the external viewers? Is there some way I can detect file problems?
    Here is the code, the relevant section is in the print() routine.

    Figured it out. The files have a different vertical and horizontal resolutions. In this case the horizontal resolution is 200 DPI and the vertical is 100 DPI. The imgage width and height values are based on those resolution values. I wrote a section of code to take care of the problem (at least for TIFF 6.0)
       private void setPageSize(int pageNum) throws IOException
          IIOMetadata imageMetadata = _reader.getImageMetadata(pageNum);
          //Get the IFD (Image File Directory) which is the root of all the tags
          //for this image. From here we can get all the tags in the image.
          TIFFDirectory ifd = TIFFDirectory.createFromMetadata(imageMetadata);
          double xPixles = ifd.getTIFFField(256).getAsDouble(0);
          double yPixles = ifd.getTIFFField(257).getAsDouble(0);
          double xRes = ifd.getTIFFField(282).getAsDouble(0);
          double yres = ifd.getTIFFField(283).getAsDouble(0);
          int resUnits = ifd.getTIFFField(296).getAsInt(0);
          double imageWidth = xPixles / xRes;
          double imageHeight = yPixles / yres;
          //if units are in CM convert ot inches
          if (resUnits == 3)
             imageWidth = imageWidth * 0.3937;
             imageHeight = imageHeight * 0.3937;
          //convert to pixles in 72 DPI
          imageWidth = imageWidth * 72;
          imageHeight = imageHeight * 72;
          setImgWidth((int) Math.round(imageWidth));
          setImgHeight((int) Math.round(imageHeight));
          setImgAspectRatio(imageWidth / imageHeight);
       }
