Creating Users in Content Management SDK Manager

I´ve installed Content Management SDK , now i want to create users trough the manager, when im filling the fields for the user creation, there is a field named (Credential Manger or Gestor de Credenciales in Spanish) but in this field there isnt values to select, so i cant select Ifs as credential manager, anyone knows why??
thanks

hi,
goto admin applet -> user admin --> Add --->enter deatils of User like name/full name/password/corm password/e mail addrsss(This is for the workflow purpose).Suer local automatically selected either Local/ Global .
Then goto next TAB ROles in which you have select the roles (Admin/Contributor/guest/reviewer/sysmanager) select any one of the roles. if you select the admin you would get the adminstartion tab in the left navigation. So basing on the role you have selected you would get the permission to access content server.
Finish close that window open the new window http://server ip/idc
give the username/password
i think this would solve your problem.

  • How can i modify lable of texfield on create user page

    Hi,
How can i modify lable of texfield on create user page of oracle identity manager administrative console ?
e.g. display Sponsor ID inplace of Manager ID
    Thanks

    Hi Nitesh,
I changed in xlWebadmin.properties file and restarted the server but still it is reflecting the old lable e.g.
    In xlWebAdmin.properties file
    - global.lable.managerid= Manager ID
I changed it to global.lable.managerid= Sponsor ID
But still it is displaying Manager ID on User form. I am using OIM 9.1

I think there is some thing missing in my configurations. Can you please tell how to deploy and run a hibernate application. Is there any problem occurs while accessing another DataBase from Oracle Content Management? What are the setting I have to do for running a hibernate application from Oracle CMSDK?
    Thanks in advance
    Basil

    Hi,
I got the solution for my problem. The error came because of the hibernate pooling. I removed the hibernate pooling lines from my hibernate configuration file and it is working fine.lines
    Thanks

  • Oracle Content Management SDK

Let's see if we can get a thread going in regards to Oracle's << apparent >> intent to cease bundling iFS with the
Oracle 9i Database Server. In a statement shared with me just a little bit ago, Oracle states that licensing implications
for current database customers using what is to be called << in 9.0.3 >> the Oracle Content Management SDK is to be
    determined...
Bunk! Now that they have people roped in, they're going to break the API out, and license << big $$$$, no doubt >>
it separately! Go Micro$oft! errrr... oracle...

    Robert,
I would say that there are pro's and con's to both arguments. If you want to make use of iFS with ID, Web Cache etc then you're going to need a copy of 9iAS anyway and as iFS becomes more integrated with various applications then you can see where Oracle is coming from.
If you are a software house developing solutions based on iFS then this makes the licensing issue much cleaner and simpler for clients to understand (something which we have come up against as iFS is availabe in 9iDB and 9iAS). It also means that iFS should receive greater exposure within Oracle as the account managers are more likely to do something with it as it is a revenue generator.
Naturally the other side is if you are developing an application or just using iFS in house then having to purchase 9iAS can seem like unwanted overhead. I think over the coming months we are likely to see iFS more tightly integrated with iAS so eventually to make use of that additional functionality you will need a copy of iAS. I guess it depends what you are doing with it as the API is likely to be packaged in a similar way as other dev kits.

    </Attribute>
    <AttributeReference editable="true" optional="true">-750</AttributeReference>
When I try yo Create a new user, the OIM System Administrator returns a System Error.

  • Is there an easier/more-automated way to create user settings in Profile Manager?

I'm setting up a Mavericks Server and am setting up the settings for each user within the Profile Manager. I'm finding somewhat tedious to have to enter all of the server and account information per service per user. Seeing that it knows the details of the server it's running on – and the user for whom I'm setting up the profiles, is there no automatic way to produce a settings bundle for each user? At the very least, the server hostname and username should be prefilled.

What settings are you setting in the profiles? You can set a general setting that is available to all users, and also create various device configurations and add devices to them. I personally have not found much use for user specific profiles within profile management.

  • Create User Select Manager shows no users

  • How can I create User Entered Additional Data Points in Credit Management?

I currently have a requirement to create additional data points in Credit Management (11i) that require a data analyst to input the value so that the score can be calculated.
For example: Does customer have a Qualified Audit Report?
If YES = +10 points added to score
If NO = 0 points added to score
I was able to add an additional data point and the case folder was assigned to an analyst, however when opening the case folder to input the missing data, the additional datapoint was not included in the case folder. Does anyone know what I may have missed in the setup?
Data Point was defined as follows and added to a checklist called TEST.
    Data point: Unqualified
    Category: (none)
    Parent: (none)
    Application: Receivables
    Scoreable: Y
    Enabled: Y
    PL/SQL Package: (none)
    Function: (none)
    Thanks in advance.

The setup described above was correct. The datapoints did not show up in the case folder until the next day. I am assuming that maybe the changes required a bounce or a background process of some sort.

  • Unable to create users in identity management of XI system

    Hi
I am trying to create an user using j2ee_admin user in XI system. But I am getting the following error
Current user has user creation permissions in the UME, but cannot create users in the back-end system (data source). The original and possibly untranslated message was: "The unique ID is null and principal cannot be bound!".
Please help me why I am getting this problem and how to resolve it
    Regards
    Sowmya

    Hi,
Please make sure that you have assigned the role of
SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION role to the user J2EE_ADMIN.
Since, it is delivered without a profile, so you must first generate a
profile otherwise it will not work properly.
Please check that the role is NOT SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO (this is
a read only role and therefore the users won't be able to create the
    user).
As described in the SAP Note 748195 you can assign the
assign the SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION role to the communication user.
You must restart the J2EE Engine after you change the role assignment.
Additionally, you can check consistencies on UME using SAP Note 1016283.
    Best regards,
    Sumanth

  • Can't create user into backend system and contents in portal.

    hi expert,
I installed EP(EP,BI-JAVA) as add in installation on existing BI-ABAP system based NW04s.
I can log on portal by abap user. But unubale to create any content and user in ABAP through portal.
What must be done after setup Addin JAVA STACK??
I assign following roles to test user.
    Administrators :UME Database
Authenticated Users:Built-in Group Authenticated Users Built-in Groups Adapter
    Everyone
but the error message is like "An error occurred in the persistence. The original and possible not translatet message was: "BAPI_USER_CREATE1@BWBCLNT100: ID=01, NUMBER=491, MESSAGE=You are not authorized to create users in group". Contact your system administrator. "
If anyone can advice me, it would be appreciated very much.
    Regards
    MASAKI

If this is what you mean "But unubale to create any content and user in ABAP through portal"....
creating users in portal is not possible since your UME is now linked to the ABAP in an add-in installation or a dual stack system users can only be created in the ABAP system and with the roles SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO /without RO should let you create users in the ABAP stack....
you can only assign roles to users on the Portal for the ABAP users ...
    heres the reason...
Combined AS for ABAP + Java installation
If you install an AS for ABAP + Java, UME is automatically set up to use the ABAP user management of the same Web AS installation. This option uses the configuration file dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml.
    AS for Java installation
If you install SAP Net Weaver AS for Java the UME is linked to the java database with users and groups in the Java system database, or if you want to subsequently connect an LDAP directory to the UME. This option uses the configuration file dataSourceConfiguration_database_only.xml

  • How to create a custom folder under Knowledge Management in Home Page

    Hi,
We have a SAP provided standard Home Page and it has a Workset/page called Knowledge Management.
Under that we have the folders called Favorites, Public Documents, Personal Documents etc.,
How can i create a new custom folder , say HR in that so that i can upload the HR related documents and that will be visible under Knowledge Management for all users.
What ever the folder we are creating under the Content Management is not visible in the Knowledge Management workset provided by the SAP.
Please let me know the step by step procedure of adding a folder under Knowledge Mangement Workset.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sekar

    Hi Sekhar,
You can store all your HR related documents in KM content.
Path is Content Administrator -> KM content
You find so many folders like documents etc... All these are KM repositories.
If you want to create a folder in the repository, you need to  create a KM repository and it needs to be activated.
For creating custom KM repository check the below thread.
You can create your own repository with your desired name.
Go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management -> Repository Managers -> CM Repository
Otherwise you can create a folder in root->documents. Say
    HR.
In that HR you can store all the documents.
To display these documents in portal iview, you have to created a KM Navigation iview and set the property 'path to document' as /documents/HR
It will display all the documents in that iview.
There are so many templates related to displaying KM content.
Search in SDN for more information.
    Hope that helps.

  • User role to access configuration management in NWA

    Hi,
What USER role is required to create the destination information in configuration management in NWA. When I access NWA, I only have access to SOA management which has only Monitoring tools with role SOA technical ADmin.
I need this to convert IDOC XML to flat file.
    thanks
    Prashanth

    Hi Prasanth,
I am not sure about the exact role but, the ABAP role "SAP_NWA_FULL" & Java role "NWA_SUPERADMIN" will certainly help. This is the role that i had when i was trying a similar scenario.
Please take a look at the following link which might be helpful:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/45/c7ca8e89e45592e10000000a1553f7/content.htm
You can infact ask your Basis team to help you out with this.
    I hope this helps.

  • Missing Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sf.dllc

I've tried to establish a database connection from Visual Studio Express 2013 to a local SQL Server Express 2014. The Server is visible and the connection test successful, but when I try to finish the connection, an error pops up saying that assembly Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sf
    were not there.
OS is Win 7/64 bits, VS and SQL Server installed just recently on a new PC (the SQL Server installtion also created a SQL Server 2008 folder plus content). I found two instances of Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sf, but in the (x86) folders of SQL Server.
I searched for solutions and found that one should install Microsoft® SQL Server® 2014 Shared Management Objects and
Microsoft® System CLR Types for Microsoft SQL Server® 2014 (both 64) from here:
    from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-ph/download/confirmation.aspx?id=42295
I did that, but the 64bit versions still don't show up (I searched the whole HD, in case the installation had put them at weired locations). I appreciate every advice on how to solve the problem.
    Thanks a lot.
    Christian

Free Download Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sfc.dll to your computer.
Copy the file to the install directory of the program that missing the dll file.
If that doesn't work. you have to move the dll file to the system directory.
    (Windows 95/98/Me) - <kbd>C:\Windows\System</kbd>
    (Windows NT/2000) - <kbd>C:\WINNT\System32</kbd>
    (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7) - <kbd>C:\Windows\System32</kbd>
If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, The System Directory in <kbd>C:\Windows\SysWOW64\</kbd>
    Reboot computer.
    Otherwise
As the error message indicated, "Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sfc.dll" cannot be found where it should be, or is
    simply missed.
The file is typically at the directory: %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\100\SDK\Assemblies.
You may need to repair the installation of SQL Server on the machine.
