Dear,
   There are no big different,

when i am trying to transfer material from one storage location to another using mvt type 311. the system is not creating the batch automaticcally.
I have already maintained allthe basic configuration required for this.even in IMg ->logistic general->batch management---->creation of new batch in this path also for mvt type 311 i mainatined (automatical/manual without check)batch creation.but still the system is not generating the new batch.
Can anybody help in this issue.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
When you do transfer postings, SAP will set the batch number same as the one from which you are issuing the stock. To avoid this you can set the creation of batch to B (Automatic/ Manual with check in user exit)
You need to use following user exit at batch creation
    EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001
    EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002
Hope this helps, reward if useful,

  • Auto creation of Batch master data when external batch no entered in PR

    Dear All,
At persent we can auto create batches at production order creation level, Goods receipt level.
In same way how we can achive auto creation of Batch master data at Purchase Requisition level.
    Regards,
    Manoj

There is no auto-creation of batches that are entered in ME51N. SAP issues message ME178 telling you that the batch entered does not exist.
You have to maintain the batch in MSC1N first, then you can enter it in the PR.

    Hi,
Check t code OMCZ whether internal Batch no assignment is active or not.
    From F1 help
    In this step:
you activate internal batch number assignment
you define whether internal batch number assignment is allowed for goods receipts that have an account assignment
    Standard settings
The standard version of the SAP system contains a predefined number range.
    Further notes
Batch number assignment uses two function model exits with which you can define templates for batch numbers. You make the necessary settings in work step function module exits for internal batch number assignment.
The system checks whether the assigned batch number already exists in the system. Should the number already exist, the function is terminated.
When creating a client by copying another client, please note that internal number assignment is not active in the target client. You must activate it manually.

  • Batch Creation or Batch Determination for 531 movement type

    Dear Experts,
I have some confusion with Movement type 531 -
    1) Can we do Batch determination for 531 movement type.
    2)  Can we do the automatic Batch creation at the production order level or confirmation level. In this case i have done the settings but in confirmation screen i have to create batch manually through Menu Path.
    3) I have to enter characteristics value manually in confirmation screen as i have select classify batches in foreground. But in material master we have Batch Class type so can values comes from there to batch of confirmation screen.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hello
Please read carefully notes 191368 and 194619. These are very old correction notes and they are already implemented on your system, however, they provide the following information about the system design:
For a by-product or co-product, no batch determination is executed anymore. The subsequent stock determination is not executed anymore either.
    and
No batch determination for by-products may be executed during the confirmation.
It means that the batch determination for movemen 531 is not a functionality of the standard system.
I have never tested this scenario, however, as far as I know, the batch can be created automatically for the by-product if you are using internal number range on OMCZ.

    Hi,
You can do that in T Code CORW.
For the required production scheduler select the batch creation for process order.
Also in the Assignment tab of the process order, there is a field for batch, next to it there is a Create button. Click that, you will get the batch number in that field.
    Hope that helps.

  • OTR CREATION IN BATCH MODE / AUTOMATIC "CIF" CUSTOMER IMMEDIATELY AFTER CREATION IN ECC

    Dear All,
My scenario is: We have a Web dynpro customized screen for Customer Creation and Sales Order creation in SAP ECC. This screen first send data to CRM where Customer is created and Customer code is flowing back to my screen immediately. Using this Customer Code, Sales order is created from the same screen using standard BAPI.
Now as per standard behavior, data will be sent to TM immediately after sales order creation for OTR creation, where it will fail as customer created was not CIFed to TM. So as per my understanding, my issue can be resolved by any of the following ways:
Option 1) Automatic CIF customer at the time of Customer Creation: By this if customer will automatically CIFed to TM immediately after the customer is created in ECC through CRM, then there will be no issue even in creating OTR immediately after Sales order creation.
    OR
Option 2) Creating OTR in batch mode instead of immediately after Sales Order Creation: By this I can first CIF Customer to TM in Batch JOB and then subsequently OTR will be created in Batch Job.
Please suggest more feasible option out of two options mentioned above and also how to achieve the same?
    Regards,
    Vibhu Gupta

    Hi Vikas,
    1. Could you please show me one of your FU stages info if allowed and show me what you did to achieve step 4 and 5 in the frontend? I want to check in our internal system and see whether this can be achieved from standard point.
    2. How did you achieve the automatic FO creation when building FU? Because when I create a FU, there is no FO created automaticaly.

  • Help required regarding the outbound delivery creation by batch job

    Hi Gurus,
We are facing one problem in the outbound delivery creation.
The deliveries will be created automatically (using program RVV50R10C) from the existing open sales orders through the run of a batch program for every 5 minutes.
The program RVV50R10C is scheduled to run for every 5 minutes, which picks up all the open sales orders and creates outbound deliveries. However, during one run we have found an error.
The error had message class V50R, message no: 024 and message type : I. The error message reads as follows : u201CAt least one order was blocked and could not be deliveredu201D.
When we have checked the VBFS table, it showed the sales document line items with the Message type : E, Message no: 24 and message id : V50R.
Can anybody decipher what could be the reason why this error message is appearing?
    Thanks in advance,
    Krishna

    Hi Friend,
    to clearly identify the issue,
Goto SE38 and give the program which you are using as Back ground job to create the deliveries and  give the sales order number as mltiple entries and execute the program in back ground.
In most of the cases we can identify the issue behind the job while doing this.
please revert me if you need more clarification

  • Deliver\y Creation using Batch Job

    Hi,
I have set up automatic delivery creation using a batch job ( vl10batch). The program selects all sales orders in the last 3 days and creates delivery.
The problem is if in a sales order there are multiple line items each with a different delivery date.
If the delivert dates for all the line items fall within last 3 days the program selects all 3 line items and ceates 1 single delivery.
We would like to see a different delivery getting created for each line item.
Example: Sales order has 3 line items
    Item A ( Del Date: 4/2/2010)
    Item B ( Del Date: 4/5/2010)
    Item C ( Del Date: 4/6/2010)
The batch program runs and created 1 single delivery followed by 1 TO.
Is there anyway we can seperate the deliveries based on date in the batch job?

If you are looking forward to a delivery split by different delivery date, it should be possible.
You should read note 546668, which explains the criteria of delivery split. Different LIKP-LFDAT can lead to delivery split.
Basically, you just need to copy LIKP-LFDAT from corresponding item in header copy routine then you will get deliveries splitted by delivery date.

  • Creation of Batch number

    Hi Experts,
I have a probelm with the Transaction MIGO to restrict the ignore the batchnumber entered by the user.
If the user is not enter the batch number, then i can generated the new number by using the following 2 UE's
    EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001 (ZXVBZU01)  & EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002 (ZXVBZU02) and it is working fine.
If the user enters , then System first check that whether it is already exist in the Database . If it won't find then automatically it is considering the same number.Which needs to be stopped.
Any body has an idea about this requirement, to ignore the user entered value.
Actually, there are 2 more exists, EXIT_SAPLV01Z_011& EXIT_SAPLV01Z_012 there i can't change the value of the batch number.
Any suggestion or Any alternative way or Any idea Please......?
    Warm Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi,
I think you can restrict by using FM EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001, this i copied the FM documentation for your reference. Just read the FM documentation you will get an idea
You can restirict by using automatic generation using number ranges
    <<Function module Documentation>>
    Functionality
You can use this customer function call (CFC) to replace the standard number range (object, subobject, number range, and year) with one of your own. This is used subsequently to determine a new batch number.
Number assignment is carried out using the central number assignment.
The communication structure X_BNCOM contains the application data known up to this time. You can extend this structure in the DDIC using structure BNCOMZ.
Using the parameter CUST_NO_INTERNAL, you can suppress the number assignment function. Then you can either generate a batch number in function module EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002 using your own criteria or suppress the entire number assignment function.
Using the parameter MESSAGE_WHEN_AUTO, you can decide if a dialog box is to appear before a new number is assigned. This only happens during online processing.
    Example
You can define internal batch number assignment according to your requirements via the enhancement SAPLV01Z with the exits EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001 and EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002
SAP delivers a total of 6 examples for batch number assignment:
    1. Copying the production order number to the batch number
    2. Copying the sales order number to the batch number
    3. Material-type-dependent batch number assignment
    4. Material-number-dependent batch number assignment
    5. Including the date in the batch number
    6. Including the plant number in the batch number
For examples 1 and 2 you have to use the exits EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001 and EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002.
For examples 3 and 4 you have to use the exit EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001.
For examples 5 and 6 you have to use the exitEXIT_SAPLV01Z_002.
For a detailed description of the examples, see below.
    Prerequisites
    1. Internal batch number assignment via the customer exit is activated:
To do this, in Customizing, choose Logistics general -> Batch management -> Batch number assignment -> Activate internal batch number assignment.
    2. Maintaining the number range object
Two number range objects are provided for batch number assignment:
Standard number range for batch number assignment BATCH_CLT
Number range for material-type-dependent or material-number-dependent batch number assignment BATCH_MAT
    Activities
    1. Use the SAP enhancement SAPLV01Z:
    a) In transaction CMOD, create either a new project or use an existing project.
    b) Add the SAP enhancement SAPLV01Z to the project.
    2. Copying the example code:
    a) Choose Component.
    b) Choose Change.
    c) Choose:
    EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001 for examples 1-4
    EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002 for examples 1-2 and 5-6
    d) Choose Edit -> Copy SAP source text.
The example code is copied to the relevant table in the function module exit.
    e) To copy the example, remove the comment symbol before the include it pertains to.
    3. Activate the project.
When you activate the project, the enhancement with the function module exits EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001 and EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002 comes into effect.
    Examples
    Example 1
Copying the production order number to the batch number
When a batch is produced, the process order number or production order number is copied as the batch number. This type of assignment is only possible in connection with process orders or production orders.
Outwith an order, a number range is determined for batch number assignment. In this example, it is the standard number range BATCH_CLT.
If the order has not yet been saved (for example, when a number is assigned when the order is created), a temporary number is created. A message appears prompting you to save the order. The system then assigns an order number which is accepted as the batch number.
The system checks whether a batch already exists with this number. If this is the case, the system aborts internal batch number assignment with a corresponding error message.
    Note:
In this example, note that the include LXVBZB21 in EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002 has to be activated at the same time, as actual batch numbers are not assigned until this is activated.
    Example 2
Copying the sales order number to the batch number
If a batch number is assigned in connection with a sales order, the sales order number is accepted as the batch number.
If there are no sales orders, a number range object is defined with a number range from which the batch number is taken. If a batch already exists with this sales order number, the batch number is assigned externally.
    Note:
In this example, note that the include LXVBZB22 in EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002 has to be activated at the same time before actual number assignment can take place.
    Example 3
    Material-type-dependent batch number assignment
In the number range object BATCH_MAT a separate sub-object is created for each material type. Note that the number range object is maintained accordingly or batch number assignment cannot take place.
For example, if the material "flour" belongs to raw materials, it is maintained in the sub-object ROH, and the batch number is taken from the same number range as the material "eggs" which also belongs to the raw materials group.
    Example 4
    Material-number-dependent batch number assignment
In material-number-dependent batch number assignment, materials that are handled in batches must be maintained in the table BNMAT, which specifies the assignment of the material to the number range.
If there is no assignment in the table, the system aborts batch number assignment. An error message appears informing you that batch number assignment is not possible and specifying the table that has to be maintained.
Each material number is assigned a number range object, a sub-object, and a number range in the table BNMAT. This is how each material receives its own batch number range.
The number range object BATCH_MAT is an example of this. The material numbers are divided into groups via their material type that match the sub-object. Each material number is then assigned its own number range by table BATCH_MAT. The number ranges used must be maintained in the number range object.
    Examples 5 and 6
Including the date or plant number in the batch number
The number ranges for the batch numbers must be defined in a way that ensures that no characters are overwritten by the templates.
    Parameters
    X_BNCOM
    CUST_NO_INTERNAL
    NR_RANGE_NR

  • Creation of Batch and maintain characteristics

    Hi,
I need to create batch and maintain batch classification/characteristics.
I am doing the following steps
    1. BAPI_BATCH_CREATE --> Crreate the batch
         -Pass material/plant/batch
         -This creates entry in MCHA
However there is no entry created in MSKA
    2. Get class using BAPI_OBJCL_GETCLASSES
        - Object key = material/plant/nbatch
        - Table = MCHA
        - class type 022
This BAPI does not return anything saying the classification does not exist.
However I can see the entry in transaction MSC3N
    There are 2 problems
    1. I need an entry in the MSKA table
    2. Why is BAPI_OBJCL_GETCLASSES not returning the class when the batch is created successfully and is visible in MSC3N
    Thanks for the help
    Karen

    Hi...
    Thanks for your answer...
I am no able to create the batch using BAPI_BATCH_CREATE.
The problem was I was not passing values to the parameter BATCHCONTROLFIELDS
(values of CLASS_NUM = name of class and DOCLASSIFY =X).
Because of this the entry in MCHA-CLOBJ BM was blank and BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL was not finding the classification.
    No this part is working....
I now need to have an entry in MSKA...
Can u tell me how to do this through BAPI or FM
There is a parameter INTERNALNUMBERCOM for BAPI_BATCH_CREATE...
will this fill MSKA? I am not sure what values to pass.
    Thanks for the help.

  • Creation of Batch Input for transaction C201

    Hello,
Currently I am having a requirement to create a batch input session for tcode C201.
Following steps we need to perform using batch input session:
    1. Go to tcode C201 and enter material and Plant.
    2. Then click on choose template and give Mater Recipe option.
    3. On next screen enter Recipe Group and Recipe.
    4. After that it will go to Copy Master Recipe screen and then giving status it will open other tabs like Operations, Materials etc.
Now when I create recording, till step 3 it is continuing correctly. but when press enter after step 3 it goes to Create Mater Recipe instead of Copy..
I got one SAP note 142022 but dont know how to implement this in my case.

As [Note 142022 - Batch input and CATT in recipe|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/142022] explain, you have to add one step in your batch input with BDC_OKCODE "=TOFF" on the first dynpro so C201 will always use old screens which are batch-input compatible. (First check [Note 365051 - OK code TON does not work when creating recipes|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/365051] is implemented on your system)
