Creation of connection object address on BP level when saving contract

Dears,
Does anyone here know how to deactivate the creation of an extra address on BP level when you save your contract?
Currently when I create a BP with 10 contracts on different Ibases in CRM, IS-U creates 10 addresses (of usage CON_OBJECT) for this BP. This change on the BP often fails in the replication due to problems with the address guids...

BAPI or FM to delete Connection Object Address

Hello folks,
My requirement is to delete Connection Object Address via BAPI or FM based on some combination. I could not find any FM which accomplishes this task. Please help.
After some research, I found that we can delete Business Partner's Address(Standard & Secondary) via BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_REMOVE but could not find any FM which perform the same task for Connection Object. Please let me know whether it is possible or not and if it is not then what is the reason behind.

Manish:
A connection object cannot exist without an address, and has only one, so deletion is not possible. You can change the address of a CO, or you can mark them for deletion.

I am facing an issue while using the FM: ISU_S_CONNOBJ_CHANGE to update a connection object address in the following manner:

I am filling the values in the structures: lwa_address-addr_data & lwa_object-addr1_data_new. (Just filling 6 fields: CITY1, POST_CODE1, HOUSE_NUM1, HOUSE_NUM2, STREET & COUNTRY).
I am also using COMMIT WORK (at sy-subrc = 0). Still this FM is not updating the values.

It depends on the original format and the destination format of the file.

Why does Elements 6 default to such funky quality levels when saving?

Sometimes when doing "save as" it defaults to "3" and other times "5", etc...how does it decide what to offer? And don't I want to use "12" anyway? For a "mainstream photo editor" why doesn't it default to "12" for everyone? Doesn't Adobe want to show that their program creates great-looking pictures? Of course I could be misunderstanding the concept :)

I am far away from being an expert on this subject. But, until you get better answers from experts, the following observations that i made on my PC might help a little bit.
On my PC, often, when I "save-as" a jpeg photo with a "quality" of 10 and later re-edit and save-as again that photo, PSE will preset again the quality of 10. It seems that the quality that i preset is somehow "sticky". But I do not know the exact rules used by PSE for this somehow "sticky" reuse of the quality.
Perhaps, you might wish to make some experiments on your PC and if you are lucky you might even (like me) get along with the behavior of PSE (a behavior, that unfortunately does not seems to be documented in the PSE help Documents). If you (or somebody else) finds out something about the rules used by PSE: I will be grateful to hear about it.
Notes: on my PC is use Windows XP with SP3 and PSE V6. As far as I remember, PSE V5 (and perhaps even some of the earlier PSE versions) had a similar behavior on the subject of the preset jpgeg quality. Also, I perform most of my edits with the Full Editor of PSE (i.e.: I am not using the limited Editing facilities of the Organizer).
I also believe to have noticed (but I am not really sure about it) the following: As long I do not exceptionally change for the saving of one particular photo the jpeg quality, PSE has in my environment the tendency of using my preferred quality of 10 for the first Save-as of a photo that had never been edited before. I do not know, whether this is because PSE somehow remember that I used 10 the last time that I saved a photo that had been edited for the first time.

Need clarification in usage of premise and connection object

I am working on a project and for that i have do move in for around 30 customers. i did up to move in . I assumed 5 customers from a single appartment and grouped them. so i used same connection object and premise for them. After move- in is done i checked the Equipment numbers generated for all the 5 in that group. The address in equipment display(ie03) and also the customer display (XD03) is overlapped with the connection objects address. so it is showing same address for all 5 customers. After that i changed the premise but used the same conection object. But again the customer address is overlapped with the given connection object address. can anyone help me how to solve this if i have a scenario like this : 5 customers from same appartment. how to create the connection obj and premise .

Please have a look at the IS-U data model. The connection objects relates to the building and the premises to the appartments. The 5 customers/consumers/business partners live in their own premise. On premise level you may detail the address with such as "1st floor last door to the right".
Devices (meters) are installed technically in a devlice location that can be is linked to premise and connection object. Finally the utility installation holds all billing relevant data while the contract is the link between the technical master data and the business master data. During a move-in the address list of a BP is completed by the address of the connection object (if customized).
As you can see there are various factors affecting the address of a business partner and a installed device.

What's my video adapter's IO address and interrupt level?

I installed solaris8.0 for intel platform. When I logged in as root, the graphic didn't appear normally.
I ran the program KConfiguration, and didn't find the item named "Standard VGA 256 colors". And the program let me input the video adapter's I/O address and interrupt level when I chose to add a new device.
My adapter is S3 Virdge or something like that. It do work on window2000. The windows operating system never let me input the I/O address and interrupt level, and I think it's "Plug & Play". Now, what can I input in the KConfiguration?
By the way, if the graphic is wrong,and I can do nothing on the computer,how can I install the adapter's driver?

Connection object creation error(ES55)

Dear Friends,
When I try to create a connection object using tcode ES55 I am getting an error "Alternative ID Not supported", Message E7045, "An alternative indicator is active in Customizing of the functional location. This functionality is not supported for connection objects and device locations".
If I deactivate at Functional Location Level, system asks activation settings are not maintained.
Can somebody guide me on this issue.

I am not able to execute tcode ES55, becoz if I activate alternate labeling, system throws an error to deactivate it. If I deactivate it system throws an error to activate it.
Please suggest how to overcome this. We are using IDES 800 only. Do we need to update any patches.

Connection object - error message : Incomplete address; enter country

Dear experts,
I want to to create a Connection Object in the Web IC.
I enter the address information (with the country) then save.
The following error message is displayed : "Incomplete address; enter country"
Has anybody already encountered this problem?

Populate County for Supplier Address of the Connection Object

Hi
Is there any way that we can populate county (Region) field for supplier address of the connection object i.e premise address (ISU) in SAP system? This is not a mandatory field hence is not filled up by customers (Business Partners).
County here I mean is eg:
Country is UK:
County is Essex then Region code is "ES" etc..
Please provide your valuable suggestions
Note: There are billions of customers for which region needs to be populated.

Update address details of connection object

Hi,
I need a FM/BAPI to update address details of connection object.
I'm currently using ADDR_UPDATE and 'ADDR_MEMORY_SAVE' I'm able to successfully update 9 address lines.
But not the telephone and fax number.
Hence I need a FM/BAPI to specifically update telephone and fax number of connection object.
Please suggest.

We are developing a website using the java technologies.
We are not using the connection pooling for connecting to the database. We use a static connection object and calling it in all the pages.
Is there any other good method for connecting to a database?

Static connection should not use for data entry operation (if there is any common insert, update or delete statement exists). If any one of the client gives a commit cases all the database entries of the particular connection will be committed. In the case of display purpose static connection will not cause any problem.
If u r requirement is for data entry then try to use one method.. Whenever user logged in create a unique id and create a connection for this particular user. Then store this connection as well as id in a static hashmap in servlet. This id should be attach in all the further requests for retrieving the connection..

CRM/ISU: Notes (or Texts) at Connection Object Level and replication

Hi there,
I am trying to replicate to CRM (and back to ISU) the Text objects linked against the Connection Object in ISU.
The idea is to have two texts area in the Connection Object in the WebIC that can be replicated back to the related ISU's ones.
The requirement is to replicate those texts (multiline texts, textarea, notes) linked against the Connection Object from CRM to ISU.
The connection object in CRM is a "casted" Individual Object that can be linked against Notes (or Texts), isn't it?
So the IObjects can have a Notes Assignment Block.
The problem is that from an WebIC point of view the Notes Assignment block obviously are not shown.
Have someone of you done something like that before? Any idea?

ISU Connection Object Creation

I am trying to create a IS-U Connection Object using .Net Connector 2.0, but when i execute the function it creates the Functional Location in PM, but i need to create connection object inside IS-U, BAPI function provided by SAP allows me to create only Functional Location in PM, is it any way by which i can create IS-U Connection Object using NCO

Duplicate check for Connection Objects in CRM

Hi,
I want to implement a duplicate check for connection objects in CRM. The duplicate check shall use the address of the connection object and perhaps additonal attributes. I have found a duplicate check for business partners using the basis address service and TREX as index pool. However, I couldn't find a similar functionality for connection objects. Does somebody know:
1) How to implement a duplicate check for connection objects which is based on the address of the connection object?
2) Is there a way to use the TREX-based duplicate check which is integrated into the basis address service for connection objects?
