Creation of credit notes without affecting the stock on FI side.

Hello,
We would like to know about the procedure to follow to create credit notes without affecting the stock.
For instance a credit note has to be made because the invoice pricing was not correct (discount not taken into account,etc...). We want to issue a credit note for the customer in value (not in quantity) refering to this invoice.
How to process? Is it supposed to be through a FI transaction?

Dear,
Use transction FB70 and select Credit Memo in transaction and pass the entry and mention the invoice numner in field Inv. Ref. under payment tab..

Very simple. Turn off Find my iDevice, then Tap Settings, General, Erase, Erase all content and settings.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Credit Note Without Stock Update

Hi Experts,
Here I have come across a scenario where it is required to generate credit notes after A/R Invoices for customers if we furthur wish to allow them some Price Discount/Exemptions . Here a new Form For this purpose is required to be created using SDK as the B1's A/R Credit Memo also updates the stock which is not required .
So The Credit Note Form would refer to the Base Document ( A/R Invoice ) and would allow the users to update the Unit Price,Discount,Tax Code ....
Furthur For Payments, The List should not pick the entry from A/R Invoice rather from this credit Note as it is just an update of that A/R Invoice only.
Im not able to close that A/R Invoice and introduce that Credit Note into payments grid.
Plz suggest me how to resolve this problem.

this is not possible.
Tips:
1. Create a reserve invoice with negative amount with items copying the original invoice rows inside with custom code. (this will not thouch the stock).
or
2. Create a non inventory managed item (service type) - code: DE (Discount/Exemptions)
then you can use it:
2.1. Create the credit memo
2.2. Copy lines via custom code, but the itemcode will be always your itemcode, and every other can be copied from Invoice.
each cases there will no connection between your Original Invoice and Created Credit Memo/Reserve Invoice. You should have to use custom code to copy lines from original items.
In payment you can use the numatcard field for matching the documents together (numatcard: Vendor/Customer reference number)

Creation of Credit Note in Background

Hi,
I have a peculiar scenario over here. Currently we are creating a commerical invoice and against it we are creating an excise invoice in the background which is as per the normal procedure.
I want to know whether it is possible to create a credit note also in the background at the time of invoice creation. I know we can create the credit note seperately through normal SD process, but I want to know whether it is possible to simultaneously create an excise invoice and a credit note in the background against a commerical invoice and if it possible what configuration needs to be done.

please try to use CRM_SRV_ORDER_API_CREATE.
When tracing the creation of a new contract there is also CL_CRM_1O_MAIN=>CREATE_ORDER, maybe this can be used.

I would like to know if there is a way to remove a photo from a LRPublishedCollection without affecting the Publish Service. Basically I would like it to be removed from the collection but I don't want to be added to "Deleted Photos to Remove".

I don't know how to keep it from being put on the "Deleted Photos to Remove" list at least briefly, but if you do this, it'll amount to the same thing:
* save status for all photos in collection
* set status of all photos to "do not publish"
* remove photo from collection.
* publish the collection, and make sure you call the deleted callback, but don't do anything else.
* restore previous photo statuses.
Only works in Lr4+.

You can, but if you don't format the drive using the Zero Data option all your personal files will still be accessible to someone who knows how to gain access to them. If that's not a concern then here are two options (easy and not so easy):
The Easy Way
1. First, boot from your Tiger DVD, select your language and click on the Continue button, then select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu, select your boot hard drive, go to the First Aid tab, and click the button for Repair Disk. Repeat this until no trouble is found. Then click on the Repair Permissions button. Then quit DU, return to the installer and shutdown the computer for a couple of minutes.
This will assure that the drive is OK and permissions are OK.
2. Next, boot to single user mode by restarting and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-S keys until a black screen with white type appears.
3. At the prompt, type the following commands pressing return after each command line:
/sbin/fsck -yf
mount -uw /
rm /private/var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -r now
The second-to-last command above will cause OS X to think that the operating system is newly installed, and when you reboot, it will send you to the startup wizard where you can start a new user without reinstalling.
The Not So Easy Way
Follow these instructions step by step to prepare a Mac for sale:
First, back up the data:
1) Shut down all Virtual PCs. They cannot be in their "fast saved" state. They must be shut down from inside Windows.
2) Clone to an external drive using Carbon Copy Cloner.
Next, prepare the machine for the new buyer:
3) Deauthorize the computer in iTunes! Deauthorize both iTunes and Audible accounts.
4) Remove Open Firmware passwords
5) Turn the brightness full up and volume nearly so.
Install a fresh OS:
6) Insert the OS X install CD/DVD.
7) Restart the computer while holding down the C key to boot from the CD/DVD.
8) Run Disk Utility from the file menu and erase the internal hard drive (optionally zero all data).
9) Install OS X.
10) Reboot the computer.
11) From the welcome screen, you can skip the registration step by typing command-Q.
12) When prompted, create an account (it will be an admin account).
13) From your new admin account, configure networking.
14) Then use Software Update to bring your system and all of it's applications up to date.
15) From Disk Utility, repair permissions on the new volume.
Now delete the account you just created:
16) Boot from a different volume (e.g. a firewire drive, if available)
17) Clean up the image using the following terminal commands:
prompt> rm /Volumes/<imagevol>/var/db/BootCache.playlist
prompt> rm /Volumes/<imagevol>/var/db/volinfo.database
prompt> rm -r /Volumes/<imagevol>/var/vm/swap*
18) Now you can get rid of the admin account you used to set up the machine Use the terminal:
prompt> nicl -raw /Volumes/<imagevol>/var/db/netinfo/local.nidb -delete /users/<admin>
prompt> rm -r /Volumes/<imagevol>/Users/<admin>
prompt> rm /Volumes/<imagevol>/var/db/.AppleSetupDone
19) Shut down and ship it to your buyer. When they get it, it will boot to the Welcome screen just like a factory Mac, except that it's better because it's completely up to date.

The most recent albums at the top of the list is "last is listed on top", and apparently Apple has not set up a sub filter to list albums "last on top" while listing tracks "first on top".
If you list Albums "first on top" then the tracks will also be "first on top".

I have a container movieclip that resizes depending on the stage, and when I add another movieclips to it they also resize, but I want them to keep the original size,

I already tried this way, I put a bitmap as a background of the movieclip and made only it dependent on the stage size,
something like that:
mc.bg.width = stage.stageWidth; (and not mc.width, as its width will change along with the bg width)
so when I add children to the mc, they don't change any more.
I'm a .NET developer and new to Flash platform, and I think it would be nice from the community to make a built in property for MovieClip class -
resizeChildren: Boolean
I lost a whole day on this problem, because when I drew a movieclip in a designer side I saw that its background size changed along with the size change, and when I added children to it from the code the movieclip's size changed and the background stayed still, quite strange behavior for an HTML guy
I think that it would be better to consider already drawn movieclip not to have any children yet and have its background as its part (not at(0)) and let the programmer choose later added children's resize behavior.

Timestretching ESX chops without affecting the pitch

Say I had a sample of a beat at 110 BPM. I changed my mind and wanted it to be drum & bass in stead, 160 BPM. I had already chopped the sample in to ESX 24 and deleted the original sample + track from the arrange window (to get some order in my project.) That means, I don’t have a chance to simply stretch the loop on the timeline by using the ⌥ button.
How do I now stretch the time to 160 BPM without affecting the pitch? First of all I’d need the whole loop in the sample editor, and not just the chops. Any ideas?

Logic's Time and Pitch machine, found within the sample edit window, will do this.
Select the audio region, open the sample edit window, and under the factory sub-menu, you'll see "Time and Pitch Machine"
When it opens, you have some options to play with, such as the algorithm, etc... FYI... 100 cents is equal to one half step.
Many here (myself included) will tell you that you can probably get better results using third party software, but sometimes the Time and Pitch machine can come through very well, depending on the source material, of course

How to enable an axis without affecting the others ?

I use an 7340 4 axis card with MID7654 driver unit. I have to make several independant programs, using each 1 or 2 of the 4 available axis on the card. I wonder how to enable/disable a single axis without affecting the other, because the "enable axis" VI is not three states : an axis can only be enabled or disabled, but not "not affected". I didn't find any NIMotion VI to do it or to give "all axis" information.
Any idea ?

    It is possible to check the states of the axis with the function "Read per axis status".
    It is possible to eanable and disable axis with the function "Enable axis".

Sorry, but I gave two workarounds: my preference is custom question slides, but you can also have questions slides where you do not add the score to the Total score. They will not be reported to the LMS and can act as Knowledge slides. Only some quizzing system variables can count all question slides, including the Knowledge slides, but the core variables (score, maximum score, percentage) will be correct. That each SCORM module can have only one quiz is a SCORM requirement, not a a Captivate specific feature. Camtasia is bit difficult to compare, it is not a fully blown authoring tool although the best video screen capture tool around (video is non interactive by definition). How can we restrict an item not to hit the stock while delivering , the reason being the item is already consumed in Production order ( the Batch item is consumed in production).
The main reaason is ,there are 2 batches in a pack to be delivered, a batch item is already consumed in production order.
Now to control the stock hit of Batch item which s/be delivered by not hitting the goods movement.

In the sale order, change the item category of the respective item to TAX manually so that it wont hit the stock and you can do PGI and invoice.
