For OM infotypes it is PPCI and PD infotypes it will be PM01.
Just find this in the ERP HCM where you can find the links .

Creation of custom infotype

Hi all,
I have a requirement wherein i need to create a infotype.
In this infotype if the Anzhl value of absence quota type is reduced the relavent quota types which are linked to it should also get reduced.
Actually when a leave is approved, the quota is reduced and reflected in 2006 only but here in my case it should get reflected in the new infotype also by creating a seperate record with the entitlement and reduced values.
for ex awart1
suppose for 20 days is reduced from awart1. Awart2 and awart3 are linked to awart1.
simultaneously 20 days quota needs to be reduced from awart2 quota, as well as some 5 days from awart3.
so there will be two records of this new infotype
and also, the ANZHL of the relevant quotas will be reduced
when the leave gets cancelled, these two records will be deleted and quota will be reinstated back
Please help me by providing pointers in this regard.

Creation of Custom Infotype in Recruitment

Hi Experts,
I have actually used PM01 to created Custom infotype. i have selected the applicant group while creating the infotype.. but in the infotype charectaristics the database table is still PA9006 this must be changed to PB.. how do i do this???? And my 9006 infotype in not reflecting in the applicant master data.. how to do this?????

i think you select pa infotype while providing time constraint, insted of selecting pa infotype select RE infotype or
follow this procedure......
1)in step one you create STRCTURE with required fields and make it activate
2) in this step simply click on CREATEALL BUTTON for creating module pool program, database table and screens.
3) in this step select NEW ENTRIES button and here provide information like ...
if you are not find new entries button click on EDIT button.
a)provide Infotype number ( which is created by you. 9006)
b)provide description
c) provide time constraint
d)provide single screen(2000) and list screen(3000)
now click on SAVE button then system automatically assigns the application database table PB9006.

Creation of Customized Infotype

Hi,
I have created an infotype, for which i have designed screens in SE80. But still When I execute the infotype in PA30 Transaction, I am getting an error saying that
Screen MP902400 2000 must not be an Include screen.
I am new to this HR module. Please give me a solution to solve this problem.

Error executing Custom Infotype..

An Invalid table name PA9001 is mentioned in the open SQL Statement.
Runtime Error:SAPSQL_INVALID_TABLENAME
Exception:CX_SY_DYNAMIC_OSQL_SEMANTICS occoured in procedure READ_DATABASE but neither
handled locally nor declared in the RAISING clause of its signature.
Termination occoured in ABAP Program SAPFP50P- in "READ_DATABASE".
The main Program was "MP900100".
I did not do any modifications in the programming part.Even then I am getting the errors..

I had faced these issues before while creation of custom infotype. But I found later that its the incorrect authorizations which is not allowing the system to create the structures.
When you create an infotype, sap follows few steps to create various strcutures and table enties.
But due to insufficient authorizations, many of them are skipped. e.g. A functional person does not have authorization to create tables/ structures through SE11. I think this is the reason why the table PA9xxx is not created in your case.
Fix your authorizations, and recreate the custom infortype.
Reward points if it helps.

Significance of classes in custom infotypes???

hello everyone,
i know that on creation of custom infotype a class will be created. i want to know the significance of the classes. if i change the name of the class will it effect any thing?? if i change the name of the class where all places should i change the name etc......??
and question2.
On creation of infotypes SAP generates standard code. in that i found that in PAI two sets of chain-endchain statements are there with the same fields. what will be the effect if i remove one set..
pls respond at the earliest .

Custom infotype creation issue

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to create a custom infotype based on certain conditions. But there is a problem while saving data in the infotype. The infotype is populated from another infotype automatically through dynamic actions.
But while saving the data for the first time it happens as per the requirements and data gets saved properly.
But when the data is saved for the second time for the same pernr , the previous data is over written even though the new record starts with a different begin data.Also i have created the infotype with time constraint '1'.
can you please let me know if i am missing anything while creating or is this a logic issue .? all the logic has been coded in the flow logic part of the screen.
also if i dont save the data in the infotype it does not pop up any message like 'data not saved' which usually happens with every infotype. Please clarify me on this as well...

Check the logic how it is updating the custom infotype . I think it is nothing to do with creation of custom info type

Error in creation of custom PD infotype

Hi,
I have a task of creating a custom PD infotype(p9xxx). I created HRI9xxx structure with all the custom fields and when I try to create the infotype using tcode PPCI(selected 'field infotype' option and create button in the 'infotype' block was pressed), it gives an error message that p9xxx-begda is not in ABAP dictionary and then it gives me list of screens, module pools and tables created. This custom infotype entry does not exist in T777I. I have tried regenerating it and same problem persists. If anyone knows the solution, please do let me know.

Problem in creating help input for custom infotype creation

Hi,
I had the task of creating a custom infotype for storing recruitment test result.
I created it using the following structure:

STATUS_________________ZSTATUS_TYPE
OTHER_POSITION_________PLANS
Now for the component other_position for the entry help i use is H_T528B with check table T528B. My objective is, when the infotype is accessed through pa30 and user is inputting the entry, when they press F4 on the inputbox for other_position, help search should show the list of all position within the system. But rather than that, the input help display such message:
No values selected
Maintain entries?
Yes No Cancel
When I choose yes, the input help suddenly prompt me to "Choose customizing project" which i believe is from SPRO.
How do I fix this problem so that when I press f4, the help will shows all position within the system.

Custom fields on OM to trigger creation of 0001 infotype record

Hi Everyone,
I need to resolve this as soon as possible.
I have a requirement as follows:-
There is a Custom infotype with 2 fields on a custom tab on Position level in OM.
Now, when there is any change to the field contents and the validity dates, the integration should be triggered alongwith creating a corresponding entry in 0001 infotype in the background, just like it happens for all the other tabs/infotypes in OM.
I already found a BADI, HRBAS00INFTY which enables me to change the code before updation of the database.
Please let me know how to create the Info type 0001 records once the custom fields and validity dates are changed.

Here are the steps that I followed:
Enter the transaction code PPCI
Enter a four digit infotype number (9nnn) and an infotype name.
Select Field Infotype
Choose Infotype Create.
Choose Check environment to maintain the required entry in table T777I (Infotypes per object type).
Choose the Entry 'T777I' under the list of 'Table Entries' (This list is produced when you choose 'Check' on the First screen of the Transaction PPCI.
Press the 'Change' button and you will be taken to the 'Maintain Table Views' Transaction (SM30).
Press the Maintain button.
From the list of Infotypes locate the custom infotype created and select the entry for that.
Click on the 'Time Constraint' folder appearing on the left hand corner of the screen.
The screen for Change View Time Constraint would appear.
In the object type field put in: O,P,S whatever is relevant to your requirement.Also add the time constraint.
Save it and double click on the 'Infotypes per object type' folder (on the left hand side again).
Create a new entry here for your infotype and save it.
Come back to the Transaction PPCI and you are all set.
This is all I did and it worked.

Error in custom infotype creation

I have created a custom infotype IT9100 .
When I am seeing the screen layout in se51 information message
Element PSPAR-ITTXT touches or overlaps other element
ITTXT stores the infotype text
Now when I am activating my screen its showing error
Collision at target location.*
Could you please let me know how to deal with such prob.

I am creating a customized infotype, when i activate the layout shows me the error message "Input/output field not defiend"
But am unable to input the check in screen painter already the field is disabled. Pls Assist. URGENT.

Hi,
For this you need to go to the change mode on the screen painter and then click on input/output field..
Or you can go directly yo the element list of your screen and check the I/O option there for that field.
