There is a special Tab ( in Item Details ) for Brazil in case of Purchase Orders.
Now the user's requirement is such that the fields which are set ot mandatory earlier are to be made optional.

Hi,
In general, u201CBrazilu201D tab is not appear in the item details of Purchase order(ME21N). If it is there, it means that customization is done for PO to consider the taxes which are related to Brazil country to calculate Effective price & net price of a material in PO.
In general, tax structure is changes from country to country.
U have to do the configuration settings in SPRO for calculation of Price of a material.
Path: SPRO-> Financial Accounting(New)-> Financial Accounting Global settings->
Taxes on sales/purchases->Basic settings->Brazil

Adding a new Tab - ME22n - Item Detail Level

Hi,
This is a bit Urgent!
I need to add a Tab to a TabStrip in Item Detail level, in ME22n that has a count of 12.
Out of which 1 is custom made.
Someone else had done this development and i can't figure out how it's done.
Now, i am adding a 13th Tab.
There is a Enhancement Project made in CMOD.
Which has the component MM06E004 added to it.
I have added the subscreen 0201 to SAPLXM06.
And activated the both the enhancement Project and SAPLXM06.
In ME22n, i should be seeing the 13th Tab in the Item Detail level.
But i can't.
I have all together 23 fields... So i have no way but to add all the fields in a new Tab.
Please help.

Hi,
There are some points which you need to keep in mind before implimenting this exit.
First of all this is a transaction and check whether you need a selection screen ( of a program ) on your new tab which will be inserted in the transaction.
And to create a field you need to enable one of the screens depending on your requirement.

If you use any addditional fields you need to define these additional fields in following structures based on the requirement:

To pass data from the PBO / PAI modules you have to enable the suitable function exit based on the requirement. Enabling these exits would pass data from / to the additional screen.

Analysis tab in item details of transaction WTY

Hi All,
We get pricing procedure details when we click on the analysis tab in the item details subscreen in WTY.We get the condition types and the associated movement of data.
We have added a custom field to the communication strucuture KOMK,KONP,KOMG, and the same is present in the database table PVWTY. The same is present in the structure A997 also. If we see the technical details then the fields which are of concern to us are KOMK-(custom fieldname ) and A997-( custom fieldname ).But we are getting a warning symbol in the description part when we click on the condition type PRP4.
I am not sure whether this is related to any missed out coding.I checked out that the routine 597 is assigned for the condition type PRP4.But the source code inside is the standard code and i am not sure how to include my custom field data here.Do i have to move this data through some exit or is this related to any configuration in SPRO...
I am not able to figure out where and how i am supposed to move the data between the two structures as explained above. Hope that the above explanation gives an OK picture of what i need to achieve. Please help.

Hi,
You can try making the Date Field in Item Details and Requisitioner as Mandatory if it serves your purpose for the situation - I .
Please check the following :
SPRO>IMG>MM>Purchasing>Purchase Requisition>
Click on Define Screen Layout at Document Level
Highlight the Document Type
Go to Details and click on Deadline Monitoring
Check the Date as Required Entry for Requisition, Delivery & Release Date.
( The user will need to Enter Release Date Manually)
Similarly this can be maintained for RFQ and PO as well.
This will give you the Tracking of the Processing Time with respective dates.

I have to create one Custom tab in ME21N item level beside Conditions.
The Tab name is Customer. I'm very new to ABAP so after searching the forums I got ME_GUI_PO_CUST badi is used to do that. In the Custom tab my required fields are

Wrong excise Base in Excise tab in Item details in MIGO for ImportPurchases

Hi All,
We are facing an issue with wrong excise base in transaction MIGO item datails in excise tab,
Info:Excise base for CVD is Assassable value +Basic customs Duty.
Case:
In PO ,
             Value in USD     Ex Rate          Value In INR
Assesable value     101                            52.4659          5299.0559
IN Basic customs     10.1          52.4659          529.90559
Sub (*** Value + BCD     111.1          52.4659          5828.96149
IN CVD          11.11                            52.4659          582.896149
In this case the excise Base in system has to be Assassable value +BCD= 5828.96
But in MIGO in excise tab excise Base is 5,776.50--> which is wrong.
Please help in correcting the same in system.
All relevant configuration and default conditions are maintained in systm.

Hi, I think your system is showing correct,
Base at the time MIGO will not be Assassable value +BCD, It will only be Assassable value,
Your 1st point is right "Excise base for CVD is Assassable value +Basic customs Duty"
Assassable value consist of Material cost, Insurance, Freight, 1% Landing charge etc. Check with your Imports team & Excise team for the same.
Apart from that, if your concern is about values then just check the exchange rates & the Miro posting what you have did.

SHORT CLOSE TAB & LINE ITEM DETAILS GRAYED OUR AFTER PR RELEASED

Once PR is released & we are doing any changes through me52n , whole line item is gray out .
Also if we are not able to short close the PR after receipt .
Plz confirm where is the customization for the same , so that I can change the same.

issue is once PR get released , it is getting gray out mode ( non editable in me52n )

Tax tab in PO item details

Hi All,
Enter a PO with some tax code in Invoice tab of Item details. Click on 'Taxes' next to Tax code.
Popup screen appears with Detailes tax conditions. Please check the next/previous arrows in the top right corner. They are in gret mode always. These are never in active mode. What could be the reason?
When do we use them, can anyone clarify please.

Check it in SPRO- SAP IMG- MAterial Management - Purchasing -Screen layout at document level.
Click on the field selection group (NBF) and doucble click on it.
Then GR/IR control - Tax code - Chenage it to optional entry.
Then save.
Check it out.

Unable to add custom tab in ME21N using BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST

Dear All,
I need one extra tab in Item Details of ME21N.
This extra tab should have two fields of my own.
I have put the coding in the SUBSCRIBE method of the implementation of the BADI ME_GUI_PO_POST as follows:
data: ls_subscriber like line of re_subscribers.
we want to add a customer subscreen on the item detail tab
check im_application = 'PO'.
check im_element = 'ITEM'.
each line in re_subscribers generates a subscreen. We add one subscreen in this example
clear re_subscribers[].
the name is a unique identifier for the subscreen and defined in this class definition
ls_subscriber-name = 'Event Details'.
the dynpro number to use
ls_subscriber-dynpro = '0001'.
the program where the dynpro can be found
ls_subscriber-program = 'SAPLMEPOBADIEX'.
each subscreen needs his own DDIC-Structure
ls_subscriber-struct_name = 'ZSM_PO_STRUC'.
a label can be defined
ls_subscriber-label = 'Event ID'.
the position within the tabstrib can be defined
ls_subscriber-position = 5.
the height of the screen can be defined here. Currently we suport two screen sizes:
value <= 7 a sevel line subscreen
value > 7 a 16 line subscreen
ls_subscriber-height = 7.
append ls_subscriber to re_subscribers.
I put breakpoints in the implementation of the method, and it is going into it, yet the extra tab is not getting displayed on the screen.
Please give your suggestions on this.

BUt last week i have custom tab in the PO header data using this enahncement 'MM06E005'.
IN thi senhancement u have thrre screen exits.In this enhancement
SAPMM06E 0111 CUSTSCR1 SAPLXM06 0111 Subscreen: PO item
u can add subscreen and u can add u r own fields here .
and u can write u r code in 'EXIT_SAPMM06E_006'.
if u want to change the title of the program.
Go to program SAPLXM06 then go to text element give text symbol no as '111' and u can change the title of u r tab.
I hope this solves u r problem.

MDM Item Details iView modification

Hello,
We have a requirement to implement custom functionality for some of the fields when using the standard Item Details iView. Is there a way to do the following:
Currently the field in question has a popup functionality that is standard for the iView.
Instead of this popup we need to have our custom WebDynpro iView show up and integrate it to the calling main Item Details iView. In other words, we need to replace the standard popup for a field with our own custom popup.
Keep in mind that we are using MDM 5.5 SP05 where Item Details iView does not support custom eventing.

Thank you for your answer. You are right, in order to have custom eventing with Item Details iView I need to have at least SP06 and this is one of the restrictions we are facing.
Although our servers for the project are SP05, I have a local trial copy of SP06 on my PC and I have to say that it still doesn't give me the flexibility that I need. The Item Details iView can trigger the event only upon Saving. In other words, there is no custom eventing on click of a popup or anything else. The purpose of this custom eventing is to only give the ability to do additional custom validations.

Display Vendor Name In PO Item Condition In Item Details

Process is, if we have created to PO (ME21N) and given XX Vendor in Header and ZZ Vendor Code has maintained as per condition wise in line item wise in condition tab in item details but not shows ZZ Vendor Name.
I want to display the Vendor Name in item details.
Please tell me, How to display the vendor Name?

I need to display the vendor name at the space before the vendor and vendor code are shown.
Me21n-->give item and its details>item conditions tab---->select particular condition type -
>click on Conditional details icon. There at the end right hand side vendor field is present where we can give vendor code. Beside the vendor field i need to display that given vendor code related name. So that user won't make any mistakes in giving the vendor code
Pl provides me the solution to do this. Which is the best way to bring vendor name in that screen?

ME21n: Customer fields in item overview

Hello,
is it possible to add customer fields on the item overview in ME2xn?
We have some customer fields on the article master (Retail) which should be added to EKPO when generating an PO and be visible on the screen on item overview also (view only).
I know that it is possible to add customer screen with customer fields on item detail level using BAdI's ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and ME_GUI_PO_CUST, but I would need the fields to be display in the table control.
Any ideas?

No we could not solve in ecc5. So I gave the name fix for the dynpro.
After upgrade to ecc6 I saw that the name was changed to the given in the exit.

Customer subscreen on the PO item detail tab ( ME_GUI_PO_CUST)

I use the BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST added customer subscreen ( new TAB) on the PO item detail. if PO order type is NB , the TAB can show both me23n and me22n . if PO order type is UB , the TAB can show ME23N , but can't show ME22N . Please Help, thanks.

In PBO Logic of whicehver screen is called we can check if sy-tcode = ME22N/23N and hide all the fields/make it display only as per requirement so that user sees an empty screen/display only fields in customer tab ....using
loop at screen..
if screen-name = 'XXX' .
screen-invisible = 1. for hiding
screen-input = 0. for display only
modify screen .
endloop.

SRM : Custom Tab in RFx Item Details

I have a requirement to add a custom tab to the Item Details Tab of the RFx which has some custom Input fields and Checkboxes.
For this i have created a Custom Tab in component /sapsrm/wdc_dofc_rfq_i_d1 through enhancement and used a separate z component to display the fields in custom tab. (declared zcomponent as used component in /sapsrm/wdc_dofc_rfq_i_d1).
I have instantiated my component usage in different methods of main component where other standard tabs were instantiated.
As per the settings I am able to display the custom tab when i run the application but when i toggle the tabs it is giving some errors.
Can anybody pls let me know some of the key points which I need to take care while adding the custom tab. How can I handle the standard SAVE and Edit Buttons in my components and also the processes which occur when I navigate from one tab to another???

My requirements was a little bit different from yours...
For CTR my Z component is only for display data, so its not necessary to save any data.
For SC I had a table with some data and when I select a line is necessary to push a button to assign some values to the fields price, quantity, etc (standard fields)
The solution for the SC was a bit difficult. I haven't access to that system now and i don't remember all the details.
I'll try to explain to you what I did:
- Create an event as interface in your Z component, this event should be triggered when the user push somo button in your view.
- Create a method as event handler for this event in the standard component
- For update the standard fields you need to use the method:
wd_this->MO_DODM_RFQ_I_D1->/SAPSRM/IF_CLL_MAPPER~UPDATE( ).
- I needed to add an enhancement point in that method and pass the data with IMPORT/EXPORT TO/FROM MEMORY.
- For save the data I used the methods get_item_detail and update_item for the class /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_BO_* and the method submit_update for the class /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_BASE.
You need to investigate these classes, you can copy and use some standard code to do it.
I don't know if this help you and if exits other easiest way to do it. sorry.
