Creation of delivery schedules OMDT

Hi Experts
After MRP run automatic Scheduling lines to be generated.
Does OMDT Schedule lines 1,2,3 to be set ?
Please advise how this works.
regards
MM

Hi,
To create schedule lines automatically after MRP run, maintain source list for the material in the plant entering validity period (same as that of scheduling agreement) & scheduling agreement number / line number with MRP indicator as 2.
1) Delivery date in PR lies within the validity period of the Scheduling Agreement.
2) Account Assignment in Scheduling Agreement is same as that in PR.
3) Quota Arrangement if maintained, does not point towards another vendor as valid / preferred source.
4) In source list, you have not maintained another vendor as Fixed source.
5) In source list, you have not blocked the scheduling agreement.
6) Scheduling agreement has pending open quantity equal to or greater than quantity in PR.
7) Scheduling Agreement is released.
8) Check your MRP parameters for Delivery Schedules. If it specifies No Schedule lines, then also schedule lines will not be generated.
After MRP settings done can do MD01 or MD03.

  • Issue on Purchase order creation with Delivery schedule line items per PR

    Hi
Note->Developed inbound FM to create PO's in SAP through IDOC.
We are creating purchase orders from vendor which is coming from Inbound IDOC. Here we are using as BAPI_PO_CREATE1
to create PO's. before that i am passing all the inbound data of the IDOC and getting some Purchase requisions for plant and material wise from EBAN table where we have open PR's and split the inbound line item qauntity as per Open quantity in Purchase requisions. Problem here we are modifing schdule line data as per purcahse requisitions and post the all the shehduline data into above functional module, we are using creation date as delivery date in the scheduling line for each line.
Set1- If we have multiple requisions for each material and plant in the inbound IDOC item , while creating PO using  above BAPI
creating PO with delivery date is taken from Purchase requesion date, this only will happend in the first schudle line item always, second line scheulde has taken correctly from creation data as delivery date.
Set2-If we have one requisition for each line item, it will creating correctly for schulding line item as with correct delivery , whcih is not taken from requstion delivery date.
Set 2 is working correctly, but Set1  has problem with delivery date  in the scheduling lines particulary for first schduling line item.
Please help me on this issue.
    Advance wishes

    Hi Satish
    Thanks for the reply.
I checked the parameters and it is creating 2 PO when the Indicator Ordering address is set.If I uncheck this Indicator then only one PO is created.
But now my question is from where is the Ordering address taken because for both line items Vendor is same and ordering address is also same.
Then why the system is creating new PO?

  • Delivery schedule in S.A.

    Dear gurus,
This is regarding delivery schedule in scheduling agreeent.
i put delivery schedule of 3000 nos. for perticuler date. subsequently it gets reserves & get reservation no. for 3000 nos.
now if i reduces  the schedule from 3000 to 2000,  the reservation qty should  be change to 2000 nos. but this is not happning . is there any setting to do this ?
i have tried to cancel the reservation by me22  but it is not appearing. also it is  not getting deleated.
also no. shows only in table RESB
could any one help me in this..
    suhas inamdar.

As much as I know, creation of a reservation upon creation of delivery schedules is not a standard functionality.
Normally, when you create the schedule lines, it can be seen in MD04, as an expected receipt. But a reservation is normally a requirement, nad hence I feel there is some development (user exit / BADI) doing this.
You need to check the development for this purpose.

  • MRP - Auto creation of del schedule lines based on planned delivery time

    Hi,
We have activated MRP (type PD) where Purchase requiesition is auto created by system for requirement quantity. We require to optimize delivery schedule in such a way that entire PR quantity is broken into various delivery schedule based on planned delivery time and requirement.  Scenario can be further explained with following example.
Material Requirement for a month is say 1,25,000 units
    Closing Stock say 25,000 units
PR Generated by system for 1,00,000 units. The entire quantity is schdulled with only one delivery schedule line as per planned delivery time.
The requirement is to generate multiple delivery schedule lines automatically in Purchase requisition based on planned delivery time so that Purchase orders can be placed with system generated delivery schedule lines.
How can it be achieved ?
    Regards,
    Nirav Kinkhabwala

    Nirav,
This subject has been discussed repeatedly in this and other forums.  I must assume that you overlooked the rules of engagement, which state that you should first search the forums and other public sites, before posting questions here.
Standard SAP MRP cannot be made to generate multiple items in a Purchase requisition.  The functionality you seek is usually achieved when converting purchase reqs to Purchase orders, where many single purchase reqs can be adopted into a single Purchase order.
You also might want to investigate use of Vendor Scheduling agreements.

  • Delivery based on qty specified in delivery schedule in Scheduling Agreemnt

    Hi,
We have a scenario where we need to create delivery based on the quantities entered in the delivery schedule in Scheduling Agreement, eg.
on 10.11.2011 qty to be delivered is 10
on 15.11.2011 qty to be delivered is 20
We have sufficient stock and the entire qty of 30 (10+20) is confirmed. Now when we create the delivery on 10.11.2011 the system is delivering the entire qty of 30, whereas the requirement is that on 10.11.2011 only qty 10 should be proposed by the system in delivery. Please help.
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

    Hi,
1.Please check is there two schedule lines are present.
    2. Check the expected delivery date/check the from to date for delivery creation.
    or
you can change the expected delivery date between 10-14 and check it should work.

  • Delivery schedule ME38

    hello Gurus,
When we are maintaing delivery schedule with ME38 t code there is a button fixed which can be ticked or unticked please let me know the use of this.
I have already seen F1 Help documentation
    helpful answers will be rewarded
    regards
    suresh

    Hi,
    Schedule lines for a Scheduling Agreement can be created in following 2 ways;
    1. Manual (In ME38)
    2. Automatic via MRP Run (MD01 / MD02)
    1. If you create Schedule lines manullay in ME38, these will get fixed by default since you know the requirment and entering by yourself.
    2. When Schedule lines are generated via MRP Run (MD01 / MD02), then system creates these as per the MRP Parameters which may not provide the correct results always and you might make some chnages in these schedule lines so these type of Schedule lines will not have "Fixed" indicator ON by default after creation.
If you go to ME38 and make any chnages in date or quantity of schedule lines as per your requirement then "Fixed" indicator will get activated for this Schedule line and will not be affected by MRP Run for 2nd time onwards and will get changed only via ME38.
    To generate Schedule lines via MRP, maintain Sourcel Iist for material in ME01, here assign the Scheduling Agreement and also Put MRP Indicator as;
1   Record relevant to MRP OR
2   Record relevant to MRP. Sched. lines generated automatically

  • Automatic delivery schedule for Scheduling Agreement

    Hi all...........
I like to create automatic delivery schedule both JIT & FRC schedules for Schedule agreement, means system has to suggest the schedule lines.
I created SA and creation profile, when Im trying to generate JIT schedule system showing "Error generating release against scheduling agreement  (cause 2)".
Pls let me know wht configuration I hve to do and pls let me know all the steps.
I like to know output determination setting for SA releases also.
    regards
    Durga Ram

    Hi
'Propose all Items" is ticked so that MIGO proposes all the items irrespective of the delivery date and quantity. This means that even if the delivery date has not yet been reached or the complete qty has been received, the system will still allow you to do the GR.
    Hope this clarifies.
    Thanks

  • Difference between Scheduling lines and Delivery schedule

    Hi SD Experts
can u say me the clear difference between Scheduling lines and Delivery schedule.
where we will maintain deliver schedule. whether delivery schedule is automatically created along scheduling agreements..
    with regards
    James

    Hi James,
Schedule Lines: Has basically information realted to delivery scheduling in Sales Order level.
Delivery Scheduling: Is a process using which system will determine what are the different activities which need to be performed and time taken for each activitiy only after which the material can be delivered to the customer.
Delievry scheduling will be started only from the material availability date i.e., system will first determine the material avail date and then do scheduling. By default Standard SAP system does Backward Scheduling in case material availability falls beyond the required delivery date system will do forward schedluing
Delivery Scheduling consists of the following Basic activities:
We give deatils while creating order:
    Order Creation Date
    Required Delivery Date
Order date - Material availability date - Transportation Planning Date - Loading date - Goods Issue Date - Required Delivery Date
Time Between GI Date and required Delivery Date is called Transit Time
Time Between LoadingDate and GI Date is called Loading time
Time Between Material Availability Date and Loading Date consists of 2 components - Pick / PackTime and Transportation Planning Time
System has to calculate all this before it determines the confirmed delivery date.
Give your mail Id I have some Presentation I will send you across.
    REWARD POINTS IF IT HELPS

  • Delivery schedule refer to contract - total quantity handling

    Hi Experts,
could any of You pls help me with an issue regarding a delivery schedule line qty created by MRP run?
I have a contract with a fixed qty, and based on this contract I have created a delivery schedule, I also maintained, that MRP run should create the delivery lines based on requirement - within a schedule line valid period. Qty in contract > = schedule line header qty.
When MRP runs, I got the schedule lines, but it only refers to the delivery sched. validity period, and do not check the header / contract total amount. This means - I got more qty in scheduled lines, as it was on header in sched. aggreement and in contract, if the requirement is higher in validity period than it was at the documents' header.
How can the qty check be set in costomizing / what do I miss during my documet creation?

  • GR Date for Delivery Schedule line

    Vendor On-Time Delivery Report
We have vendor On-Time Delivery report requirement, where we rate the
goods-delivery of a vendor as "On-Time" or "Early" or "Late". The
rating is given based on the difference between "Statistical Delivery
date" and "GR date" (in the PO/Scheduling Agreement).
In case of Scheduling Agreement (SA) we have to give delivery rating
for each Delivery Schedule Line - Based on the difference
between "Statistical Delivery date" and "GR date"
The Goods Receipt is done at Schedule line item level and not at
Delivery Schedule Item level, the GR date is not populated at Delivery
Schedule Line level and we are not able to find the GR date for each
    Delivery Schedule Line.
Once we get the "GR date" at SA Delivery Schedule line level, then from
the difference between this date and "Statistical Delivery" date, we
can rate the delivery of vendor as "On-Time" or "Early" or "Late".
Is there any way that we can populate/get the GR date (GR creation date) for each delivery
    schedule line?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Rahul,
I am working on the same requirement. Appreciate ur help on the same. The notes helps in understanding how quantities are distributed while GR. did u implemented any logic for this distribution or something else to compare the dates. I believe by checking the open quantity (EKET) (scheduled - GR quantity) we can see if there is open quantity for any schedule for the previous day then tht falls under the delayed quantity and if there is zero open quantity, it is on time delivery.
    thnx,
    Upender

  • Billing plan as per delivery schedule

    Hi,
Is it possible to have the billing plan dates as per the schedule lines of the items using the billing plan configuration(either via either periodic billing plan or milestone billing)
for e.g. for  a line item - qty 10(value 1000), delivery schedule is as follows
10-Mar-2009 - qty to be delivered is 6
02-Apr-2009 - qty to be delivered is 4
( dates and qty would be decided as per the customer needs. No periodic differences between dates).
My expected billing plan should be as follows
10-Mar-2009 - value to be billed is 600
02-Mar-2009- value to be billed is 400
if yes, please let me know.
Thanks in Advance for your answers.

    Hello,
I believe the Condition Record for Rent would be based per Month. Now you cannot change this record to Daily because in that case system will bill only for 28 days in month of February.
Instead there is a way out, in the Condition Type maintenance - T-Code V/06, Under Changes which can be made, put a Tick mark in Qty Relation Check Box.
This will allow you to change the Calculation Type while creation of Sales Document. Thus for the month of January, you can change the Calculation Type to daily & leave it as it is (Monthly) for other months.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Adding a new field in delivery schedules page

    Hi,
I have a requirement for delivery schedules page of iSupplier Portal module of Oracle eBusiness Suite. I need to add a new field to the results page. However, when I check the "about this page", I see POS_SUPPLIER_INQUIRIES177_POS_PO_EXPECT_RCPTS_D11_111POS_PO_EXPECT_RCPTS_DDynamicVO as the view object name. I guess this is a dynamic vo and I have no idea where to find the definition, so I may add the new field via extending it.
    Can anybody help?
    Thanks

Looks like you are trying to add an item in the inquiries page which is not the same as the extension mechanism we support. This is slightly tricky for the following reasons,
    - We donot support the latest personalization tool on inquiry pages and if you try to enter the personalziation tool on these pages you would still see the old personalization UI we supported in 11.5.9. In 11.5.9 we didnot support addition of new items which can be associated with a VO.
    - However custoemrs were using AK Developer to add a new item in case Inquiries when the page was in AK mode. The same will still hold good in JRAD mode, this time you have to modify the table definition directly. You need to read through the inquiries section in dev guide to understand how these tables get populated by the dynamic VO and how you can set the viewInstance and viewAttributeName for the additional item. You should spend a little more time understanding the inquiries creation but this should be doable.
