Creation of extra field in customer master.

Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to create one extra field.
We intend to capture taluka for each distributor. This will give us micro level detail. We can start analyzing sale at taluka level.Therefore we believe this additional field will be important.

Hi Pavan,
Rather adding an Extra Field(if your requirement "Taluka" is only for information or statical purpose) you can go with charecterstics and classification.
In my Client Business, the requirement was to add the " Sales Group's" mobile number and Email id in customer master, so that they can a have report where they easily findout the phone number and mail id for the each sales group. so i have acheived this through Charecterstics.

  • FD33 - Receivable Field in Customer master is not getting updated

    FD33 - Receivable Field in Customer master is not getting updated for the FI documents posted in the customer account. I need to know is there any setting either in FI or in SD, which control whether the FI document is relevant to credit check?
    In SD, we are having the item category but i am not getting how to control for FI documents? How can i make them credit relevant item. Also for special item, we are controlling the same through Transaction code : OBXY - by special GL indicators but what about the normal/general item?
    How can I control the general FI documents having various FI documents type as relevant to credit check?

    Apart from the above,please also check the below:
    FD33 - Receivable Field in Customer master is not getting updated for the FI documents posted in the customer account. I need to know is there any setting either in FI or in SD, which control whether the FI document is relevant to credit check?
    As per me there is no specific control to active the credit active field in FI values unlike for updating the sales values in FD32 we activate credit active for the item cat(VOV7) which will ensure the sales values to update (open order, open delivery and open invoices) in to credit management.
    For FI values to update i think this is inbuilt in the program only.( example update group 000012,15,18 etc).
    Any way coming into query not updating the receivables, please check the below points once again.
    1. Check the whether invoice has accounting document generated or not, make sure that it is generated then only system update the receivables.
    2. Even if the above all points are checked including above all posts,then also still the same issue repeating  then try to run the program RVKRED77, before this first run RVKRED88 and compare this values with FD32.

  • How to use Resever Field for Customer Master

    My Client Requirement. Price should be determine with Sales ORG, Distribution channel, Division, Districts, Talukas and Villages.
    But Talukas and villages are not available in SAP standard systems.
    Is it possible to use reserver field in Customer Master for this purpose?
    If it is ok then please give suggestion how to use this reserve fields.

    Hello,
    the system-behavior that you describe is standard behaviour, because   
    the fields which you are describe (village and ..) doesn't exist in structure KOMG.                                                                               
    For using this field in the field catalog you can proceed like this:   
    1. create a new field for example ZZvillage...                             
    2. add the new field in the table T681F for the application 'V' and the
       usage 'A'                                                           
    3. add the field to the include-structure KOMKAZ                       
    4. fill the new fields in the userexit for pricing                     
       (Pricing_Prepare_TKOMK (TKOMP)

    Profit center as a field is not available in Customer Master. However, if you have new gl activitaed it is copied to the customer line item  from the offsetting line item. By system design, it is imperative, that the subledgers like customer or vendors are updated with the profit center of the line item. This is what the concept of document splitting is all about.

    Our client has come up with a requirement of adding extra field while creating material.This is to enhance the users to enter the grade details.This requirement i wnated in standard and in Basic data 1 /2 . We could do it with Z developments but rejected by our customer.Also the field fashion grade cannot be used since it is available for garments industry. so its utilization is constrined.
    Is there any way to add this field in MM)! basic data 1/2 in standard

    Hi,
    You have to go for ABAP Development if you need a totally new field for Grade of the Material.
    1. Create Z-Field
    2. Add it in Material Master Tables by appending
    3. OMT3B - For Screen Sequence "21", under "Subscreens" of "Basic Data 1" Screen, add the field.
    Else you can use many other available fields for Grade Purpose for e.g. Dimensions field in Basic Data 1 and Basic Material in Basic Data 2 view.

  • Date of Creation to be included in Customer Master

    We would like to have Creation Date to be displayed on the customer master . How do we do it.
    We can know this from KNA1, but we would like to have a field in General/Sales area data, where the date of creation can be fed.

    The Additional Data Tab would be a better location to add a feild & pop up the value from KNVV-ERDAT feild or you can also create a text procedure assign it for customer master & populate it as a text.

  • Creation of partner functions for customer master with LSMW

    Hello,
    I try to create partner functions together with a customer via Batch Input in LSMW.
    Object: 0050, method: 0000, program name: RFBIDE00, program type: B.
    I use the structure BKNVP (Customer master partner functions) to create a new partner and set values for the fields KTONR and PARVW.
    When I start the batch input the fields are filled in correctly in a new dynpro. After the confirmation of these values the dynpro changes back to the partner functions sscreen, but the value for KTONR isn'n being transferred. So I get an error message.
    Is it only possible to update partner functions with that BI or what is going wrong ?

    The path is as follows.
    SPRO-FINANCICAL ACCOUNTINGAR and APCUSTOMER ACCOUNTSMASTERDATAPREPARATION FOR CREATING CMDDEFINE ACCOUNT GROUPS WITH SCREEN LAYOUT
    Here in every screen, you can control the nature fo the fields of CMR

    Hi,
    How did you look for screen exit? Have you also tried it in BADI? 'Coz normally, adding custom fields to a standard screen has to be implemented in exits.
    I haven't worked with VB* screens yet so I can not give you a some possible exits. But you can do some debugging. I think there's an available code in the net that searches for exits/screen exit (ask Mr.Google). You can also ask him how to search BADI in debugging mode. I remember it's TCode SE24 then look for cl_exithandler class, get_instance method. Then look for exit_name variable.

    4. Customer Stat.group
    What I mentioned above fields i need business case explination, but all the above fileds are explaining  about the Price and Statistics about the report. By using F1 Help i can understand but i need business case
    Is there any link between those fields ?

    you will one test case in customer pricing group in customer u can not fill it,  the same customer u can rise the sale order , system sows earorr message, no customer master records maintain, it means when u create the sale order system  take pricing procedure , pricing procedure determination ; sales area+customer pricing procedure +document pricing procedure assign to pricing procedure,(ovkk) ,

    it is use full in vov7 ,
    price list and price group it is use full pricing to the customers,  you can check it sale order header in sale tab u can find your required fields,

    I am trying to create an Order, but the Data in the Shippining tab of the Customer Master doesnt get Copied  in to the Sales ORder.
    the Fields in the Cuystomer master are 1) Partial delivery per item 2) Max. partial deliveries.
    and this happens specifically for  a particular Sales Area.
    the same order when created with  the same customer master but a Different Sales Area, the data gets Copied correctly.
    can some body quickly advise me, if there is a Standard setting to maintian such a vehaviour or Could there be some "Z Developmet".

    Check your customers (use tcode XD03 - provide sales area) the Shipping tab
    1) Partial delivery per item
    2) Max. partial deliveries.
    for the Sales Area which is not copying to sales order.
    If it is not maintained, then maintain the same as your requirement.

  • How the Partner Bank type field in Customer master is used ??

    Hi,
    When 2 bank accounts are maintained in the customer master. In the Bank type field ( Partner Bank type), I give X and Y for these 2 bank accounts.
    When an invoice is raised for this customer thru Sales order, I am not able to give this partner bank type i.e X or Y in the Invoice, since the invoice is automatically created.
    If I raise thru FB70, I am able to give this X or Y.
    How can I use this Partner Bank type field when I raise sales invoice thru Sales order.
    Can anyone help me on this as early as possible.

    We have executed an automatic payment run in F110. Status of payment proposal and payment run are successful. Postings orders: 1 generated and 1 completed.
    However, the payment method used in the payment run is incorrect.  Instead of 'D', the user mistakenly inputted C. Kindly advise what is the purpose of Payment method in F110 and what will happen if the payment method used is incorrect and different from the one maintained in the vendor master.
