Creation of muliple schedule lines in CRM 5.0 Quotation

Hello all,
We are implementing CRM 5.0. In quotations, whenever I try to create more than one schedule line, I get an error saying that only one schedule line is allowed. However, I may have a scenario where customer says that out of total 100 tonnes, he wants 25 tonnes on a particular date and 75 tonnes on a later date. How do I ensure this? Help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sumedh

Hello Sumedh,
What is the full error message text? message ID?
As I tested in a system, which seems to be okay to create more than one schedule line.
I only managed to find one error message:
CRM_SCHEDLIN_I         312
Only one schedule line per item is possible for configurable products
If your case is for configurable products, then this is standard behaviour, was introduced by note 608860.

  • Erroneous link between R/3 Schedule Lines and CRM Schedule Line

    Hi everybody,
I am analyzing the best approach to fix a duplicate schedule line issue in CRM. The documents are modified from R/3 by means of an IDOC (ORDERS05).
First of all, let me explain the process.
1.- Document is first created in CRM
2.- Document is updated from CRM in R/3 (Using middleware)
3.- In R/3, a customer program (Z), does a lot of calculations to the order (rejection, item splitting, Qty changes, creation of new Items, etc) and once its done, it populates the IDOC and sends the information to CRM (ORDERS05).
4.- CRM receives the IDOC, modifies the order.
5.- Document is update from CRM in R/3 9Using middleware)
The Z program, DOES NOT modify the database in R/3, it lets the process to be executed and also lets CRM to do this job.
I had to make several modifications to the XIF module, in order to allow many of those changes to be valid in CRM (i.e., A rejected ITEM is changed to be valid and it's Qty changed. CRM does not allow this to be done in one step, since the qty is "greyed" for no changes).
Edited by: Rob Burbank on Feb 17, 2010 5:34 PM

    My issue is this.
The worst thing that happened, is the fact there is key fields in R/3 -> CRM, to link the schedule lines, since R/3 Uses the regular key fields in the T. table, CRM uses the GUID for the sched. lines.
After a OSS msg and many goes and comes, I had the suggestion from SAP to change from ORDERS05 Idoc into CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M01 idoc, since ORDERS05 is not supported by CRM (however the Idoc is in the system).
I am not sure that is the best solution, in fact I do not believe that is a solution at all. CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M01 does not exist in R/3 and even if somehow I do all the effort to create it in R/3, R/3 still does not have the schedule line GUID to properly point to the right record.
What I did to override this error, was to include inside the XIF module the CRM_APO_SALES_SELECT_GUIDS, CRM_ORDER_READ and CRM_ORDER_CONVERT_DOCNUMBER Functions to get all the sched lines for the specific orders in the guid form. However this solution does not work OK, since sometimes the CRM system is not able to properly return the correct GUID values and this leads to the duplicate schedule lines error.
If somebody has ever deal with a situation like this, I will appreciate if could share its point of view or even better, share the solution used.
As an extra comment, modifying the Z program to update the database and let middleware to do the job for us, is ou of the qustion at this momento.
Thank you for your time and help.
    Sincerely
    Meuli

  • Issue on Purchase order creation with Delivery schedule line items per PR

    Hi
Note->Developed inbound FM to create PO's in SAP through IDOC.
We are creating purchase orders from vendor which is coming from Inbound IDOC. Here we are using as BAPI_PO_CREATE1
to create PO's. before that i am passing all the inbound data of the IDOC and getting some Purchase requisions for plant and material wise from EBAN table where we have open PR's and split the inbound line item qauntity as per Open quantity in Purchase requisions. Problem here we are modifing schdule line data as per purcahse requisitions and post the all the shehduline data into above functional module, we are using creation date as delivery date in the scheduling line for each line.
Set1- If we have multiple requisions for each material and plant in the inbound IDOC item , while creating PO using  above BAPI
creating PO with delivery date is taken from Purchase requesion date, this only will happend in the first schudle line item always, second line scheulde has taken correctly from creation data as delivery date.
Set2-If we have one requisition for each line item, it will creating correctly for schulding line item as with correct delivery , whcih is not taken from requstion delivery date.
Set 2 is working correctly, but Set1  has problem with delivery date  in the scheduling lines particulary for first schduling line item.
Please help me on this issue.
    Advance wishes

    Hi Satish
    Thanks for the reply.
I checked the parameters and it is creating 2 PO when the Indicator Ordering address is set.If I uncheck this Indicator then only one PO is created.
But now my question is from where is the Ordering address taken because for both line items Vendor is same and ordering address is also same.
Then why the system is creating new PO?

  • Creation date for schedule line

    Hi All,
I have a scheduling agreement. MRP is generating the schedule lines properly. I want to know any table or any other way by which I can check the creation date for those MRP generated schedule lines.
    Regards,
    MHP.

    Dear Manish,
As per my understanding from your question, you can use 'MD04-Stock/Requirement List' transaction for checking all the dates for planned order generated from MRP run.

  • MRP - Auto creation of del schedule lines based on planned delivery time

    Hi,
We have activated MRP (type PD) where Purchase requiesition is auto created by system for requirement quantity. We require to optimize delivery schedule in such a way that entire PR quantity is broken into various delivery schedule based on planned delivery time and requirement.  Scenario can be further explained with following example.
Material Requirement for a month is say 1,25,000 units
    Closing Stock say 25,000 units
PR Generated by system for 1,00,000 units. The entire quantity is schdulled with only one delivery schedule line as per planned delivery time.
The requirement is to generate multiple delivery schedule lines automatically in Purchase requisition based on planned delivery time so that Purchase orders can be placed with system generated delivery schedule lines.
How can it be achieved ?
    Regards,
    Nirav Kinkhabwala

    Nirav,
This subject has been discussed repeatedly in this and other forums.  I must assume that you overlooked the rules of engagement, which state that you should first search the forums and other public sites, before posting questions here.
Standard SAP MRP cannot be made to generate multiple items in a Purchase requisition.  The functionality you seek is usually achieved when converting purchase reqs to Purchase orders, where many single purchase reqs can be adopted into a single Purchase order.
You also might want to investigate use of Vendor Scheduling agreements.

  • Creation profile based schedule lines

    Dear all,
I release the Forcasting schedules based on the creation profile assign to the Scheduling agreement (Lpa)
In the creation profiel i have maintained the Aggegation horizon as 0-60 (days), 60-90(weeks) and 60-999 (months).
after release when i checked the schedules the aggegation is not properly.
how system caculated the the aggegation whether it consider the working day only or calender days
    2. what is mean by creation indicator -R ( real time) B - mrp driven

    Hi,
It depends upon the Planning Calendar specified in Creation profile customization.
    R- Realtime means using ME38
MRP driven is self explanatory and are created by MRP when the source is fixed in sourcelist and MRP indicator maintained.
    Hope this helps.

    1. I've created a profile say XXXX for 14 days JIT and 6 months Forecast. And I maintain the same on Scheduling Agreement additional data.
2.I'm creating delivery schedule respect ot Scheduling agrrement.
    3. I maintain the aggregation horiozon in creation profile as 10 days daily aggregation for JIT and 120 days for monthly aggregation for forecast.
4.I run MRP for the header material and I maintain the necessary SA number in Source list.
    5. After MRP run I'm not getting the respective schedule lines for JIT and Forecast.
    6. What is the use of creation profile in Scheduling Agrrement and schedule line and is it determine ant schedule lines after MRP run.

  • Deletion and creation of Schedule line for Line Item

    Hi BW Experts,
In P.S.A. when i have checked for first schedule line 001 reqdelqty is 50 , after deleting 001 and after creation of second schedule line in R/3 there are two records transferred from R/3 for schedule line 002 first with reversal indicator 'X' and delivery quantity -50 and next record with Reversal Indicator blank with value 50. which in turn results Reqdelqty zero.
Reason of wrong data in BW: -
Schedule line category for an item is being deleted forcefully. R3 doesn’t allow deletion of a schedule line category if delivery is already created. Here user is creating one same schedule line and then he deletes the order quantity from earlier one. This forces system to pick up schedule line 2 in the document flow
    · User shouldn’t delete schedule line.

    Hello Ganesh,
Schedule line number sequence will not be in control of the user.
once delivery for a schedule line is completed, no way you can delete the schedule line (except renumbering case). This is general SAP logic relates to schedule lines.
Let me know how they are deleting the schedule lines even though delivery is completed.
Now coming to Data load problem in BI.
When you delete schedule line 001, the generated record should be with schedule line 001 with Reversal Indicator as R and delivery quantity -50.
And for new schedule line 002, reversal indicator as blank and delivery quantity 50

  • Safety stock not covered by schedule lines in planning run

    Hi !
In our organization we are trying to implement scheduling agreements and automatic creation of delivery schedule lines through MRP. We have MRP type PD and it considers the reservations created by PM orders and Production orders as requirement elements. When I do the planning run, it creates schedule lines for the PM order reservations and purchase requisition for safety stock. I need it to create schedule lines for all scenarios. Kindly help and suggest a solution.

  • Mandatory creation profile on scheduling agreements

    Hello Gurus,
I need to put a value on creation profile field on schedulling agreements. I have to choices:
         - Put the value on supplier data. It is a plant-dependant value i my client doesn't want to create this data.
         - Made it mandatory. This possibility doesn't appear through Scheduling Agreement -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level as usual in fields on Purchase docs.
Anyone has an idea how made it mandatory (or de badi to change the value by code)

  • SCHEDULING AGREEMENT AND SCHEDULING LINE CREATION

    Hello Guys,
I trying creating a scheduling agreement(SA) for vendor & material combination.
I have created a Scheduling agreement in ME31L then maintained in ME38.
In ME38 i have also mentioned the delivery date. when i am checking EKKO for Purchasing document , its created with the delivery date specified.
My question is how to create a schedule line ? Do we need to maintain a source list of that material, plant and vendor.
If we have the source list maintained, then what is the next step after SA is created and maintained.
Do we need to do MIGO? because i tested by creating one SA in ME31L and maintained in ME38. I mentioned the delivery date as today and when i checked EKKO table the Purchasing document is created.
Do i need to create a Purchase Order?
If no then do i need to do MIGO? If i need to do MIGO, for what reference do i need to do MIGO???
My client never maintained a Scheduling agreement, they want the scheduled lines to be created and sent to vendor and we need to receive  the goods on specified delivery date.
    Help will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
You need to make a distinction between the scheduling agreement (ME31L/ME32L) and the delivery schedule creation (ME38/ME84)
With ME31L you create the scheduling agreement. In the scheduling agreement which is created for a vendor you maintain the parts that you will order at this vendor, the target quantity that you will order over a certain period and the price.
In ME38 you use the scheduling agreement number that is created with ME31L to create schedule lines (manually). These schedule lines consist of a date and an quantity. This is the data that needs to be transmitted to the vendor and against which the vendor is shipping the ordered materials.
Once the vendor ships the materials you post the goods receipt in Migo against the scheduling agreement number.
That is the basic working of the scheduling agreement and the delivery schedule.
    Now some remarks.
You need to set-up the required output conditions for transmitting the data to the vendor either via print, fax, email or EDI.
You can do this manually in each scheduling agreement and each release but typically you maintain the output condition records.
For scheduling agreement contract (ME31L) you use transaction MN07.
For the delivery schedule (ME38/ME84) you use transaction MN10.
In order for you to be able to post the goods receipt the delivery schedule needs to have been transmitted otherwise you will get a message that not requirement are found when trying to post goods receipt.
Also the goods receipt can only be posted if the requirements are valid on the day that you are performing MIGO. This means if you would post GR today then the open requirements in the scheduling agreement need to be for today or already from previous dates. The system will not allow you to post GR for quantities that are only due tomorrow (if this is required a user exit needs to be set-up).
If you want schedule lines created via MRP then you need to set-up a source list using ME01. You have to make sure that the MRP key is set to 2 in orer for the system to generate schedule lines and you also have to make sure that you have the correct MRP parameters set-up.
You can use ME84 to transmit the delivery schedule lines generated by MRP if no changes are required. With the ME84 you can transmit multiple releases at once, however this transaction can not be used to make manual changes to the MRP proposal.
The scheduling agreement offers lot's more possibilities but the above should get you going with the basics.
Hope this will help you on your way.

  • Automatic creation of Schedule line after MRP RUN

    Hi,
Till now we are  using only PO for placing orders to vendor, now we want to use the functionality of scheduling agrement,  so that after MRP run,  we can get automatic schedule line creation,  for this ,  what are settings required, how system create the automatic schedule lines based on which criteria, second thing while creating on eschedule agrement i found that the conditon which i can add for a vednor in ME21N  that all condition are not coming while creating schedule agrement  even my vendor is same for PO and Schedule agrement,  so what are  the setting required for this.
      regards,
       zafar

    Hi
1.In material master purchasing view data auto PO is to be flagged. If scheduling agreemet with release documentation.
    Then flag JIT indicator 1.
2.maintain MRP views in material master
3.In source list for fix vendor, source list usage 2 is to be maintained.
4.Vendor master purchasing data auto PO indicator is to be flagged.
5.Then when you run MRP automatically schedule lines are generated.
For JIT and forecasting maintain creaton profile in OMUP transction.
Assign the creation profile in scheduling agreement.

  • Blocking RdA creation from Sales Order Schedule Line

    Hi Gurus,
please do you know if there is a way to block the RdA creation from Sales Order schedule line, for TAS item category? I tried with Header Delivery block without quantity confirmation but even if quantity on schedule lines are not confirmed, RdA is created anyway.
    Thank you very much

  • In V_V2 the role of Sort Item by date of creation and Sort by delivery date of earliest schedule line for the Sales Orders when Material is out of Stock.

    Hi All,
    Good Morning,
I am working on once Incident for Re-Scheduling Program V_V2 where the user has requested us to change the criteria for determining the priority of Sales Document based on Sort Item by date of creation. Currently they are using the Sort by delivery date of earliest schedule line in the Variant.
I would like to know the role these both options play in the Re-Scheduling program V_V2. I would like to know the impact of both of them and the kind of testing I need to perform to study the behaviour of Sales Orders especially when the material is out of stock?
Please explain with help of examples.
    Thanks
    Farhan.

This is not that simple that an example would explain how this transaction works but I'll give you some examples.
Material A has SO1 and SO2 of 10KG each, stock is 20KG so both quantities are confirmed at today. A stock recount determines a reduction to 5KG. This program would change confirmed quantity of SO1 to 5KG and SO2 to 0KG if:
Creation date of SO1 is older then SO2 in strategy 1
1st delivery date of SO1 is smaller then SO2 in strategy 2
Material B has SO1 and SO2 with 10KG each but no quantity confirmed, stock is 0KG. A prodution adds 15KG to stock. The program would change confirmed quantities of SO1 to 10KG and SO2 to 5KG if:
Creation date of SO1 is older then SO2 in strategy 1
1st delivery date of SO1 is smaller then SO2 in strategy 2
I'm assuming a specific configuration, there are many other scenarios possible.
    regards,
    Edgar
