Creation of person responsible in CR01 (work center creation)

Hi
During the creation of work center (CR01). The following details are entered before i get the error message
1) Work center and its description
2)Work center category
3)Usage
4)Backflush
5)Standard value key
But i am unable to enter the PERSON RESPONSIBLE field (Message is NO VALUES SELECTED MAINTAIN ENTRIES).... if I am selecting yes with this message it is routing me to Choose Customizing project.
Please help me creating person responsible field

press F4, then for maintain entries press yes
then enter on continue w/o specifying project
then it's take u to location
here double on any or PP work center
then new entries
and specify one name here
then back, back & back
now u can get the name here
ADDED
maintain directly in T-code OP10
here go for new entries
give ur plant & person name
this should solve ur query

Employee Responsible for a work center

Good Morning,
We use Project Systems in order to do project management within SAP. We use the work center to define the team structure. I know that there is a place to maintain the person responsible for a work center in the config, but the entry here is a text field. We are trying to link the owner of a workcenter back to the reporting structure that can be pulled from HRP1001, and a text field makes it more difficult to track this back to the HR side. We currently enter the name of a manager in this field, and if there is no other place to define the person responsible using a pernr, we'll have to start using this field to enter personnel number. This will allow ABAP to pull the pernr and trace it to a position number on HRP1001. I'd like to keep the manager name in this field if at all possible though. Any help will be much appreciated. Create a Cost center using T code - KS01.
Create an activity type using T code - KL01.
Assign the Rates for an activity type & cost center combination using T code KP26.
In the input screen of T code KP26 ,enter version as 0, from period 1 and to period as 12 and the Fiscal
Year as 2009,enter the cost center, activity type click on overview screen (F5) & enter the per hour Rate
After performing this in work center assign activity type & cost center
should be assigned. Then while creating routing/task list this work center can assigned for performing
as per the operation time, whichu2019s used by the work center, the cost is getting calculated.
Overhead cost is the indirect cost which's spent during production.
So when the cost rollup is taken using T code CK40N (or else using CK11N estimating & CK24 for

Add Option of choosing values from list in "Person Responsible" field of Cost Center Master

Dear All,
Could anyone advise me how can I add the option to Choose Values from list to field "Person Responsible",
in Cost Center Master Data ?
The Technical Name of this field is VERAK, and currently it is an open field.
I would like to allow the user to choose values from existing list.

Hi Orly,
You have take it to your ABAPer, who will have to modify the attributes of CSKSZ-VERAK field in CSKSZ structure. ABAPer will have to define it with foreign key and introduce the name of the table, which will be used for deriving the available values. No standard table exists for it, but you can either create your own Z-table or take it from users table (USR02) if you have the necessary information there. Of course, this action would account for modification of standard SAP structure.

Account and contact person search in more Work Center pages

Hi All,
I have to face the following problem. Currently I am at customer and the customer wants to have four different work centers (broker, cedent, original insured). The work center pages should show the AB SEARCH. In those ABs the links Search Brokers, Search Broker Contacts; Serach Cedent, Search Cedent Contacts etc.)
I Use the Target IDs MD-BP-SR and MD-CONP-SR for all searches.
Everything went fine (I checked simultanously in WebUI). After I entered the third ORIGINAL INSURED the AB of all Work Center appeared the same. All had Cedent Accounts, Cedent Contact Person as links in the AB Create. When I make the Cedent links unvisible no Work Center has them in.
How can I solve this problem? I work on that since two days. Has anyone an idea? Even here in SDN I couldn´t find a solution for that.
The CRM is a brandnew one? Could it be that the search MD-BP-SR can only be used in one workcenter??

I would like to have 4 WC for Cedent, Broker, Original Insured an Prospect (XXX). These WC should have all an AB / Work Center Link Group that includes Search XXX Accounts and Search XXX Contacts. I have an developer here, that would add the role, so that we can search role specific (Roles: Broker Original Insured, Broker etc.). An better idea for that?
But my problem is, that the WC pages look all the same. Even if I go to WC Prospect, that should incl. the Work Center Linkgroup Create (Link will be Create Prospect) it doesn´t appear, because all work center pages look similar.
I entered all (LogLingID, WC Link Groups etc.) from scratch, but I compared with standard.
I would love to help, but it is not really clear to me what you are doing.
You mention you have 4 workcenters, all with an option to search for accounts and a search for contacts.
CORRECT.
How are you planning to differentiate between them all if you use the same target id's (MD-BP-SR and MD-CONP-SR)?
Is your issue that you changed the description of the links, and they appear the same?
You also mention 'AB'. What would that be?
Yes. The Links all have Search Cedent Accounts in every WC Link Group. But why?

Person assigned to a work center

Hi,
We are using work force planning to assign resources to activities. We have some problem with one of the work centres. When we click on the person dropdown box in the personal assignment tab then we would expect to see the individuals that are in the work centre associated with the activity. We can see six persons from project builder and when we checked work center master data we could see only four persons.
When checked thoroughly, the data at work centre master data is picked from HRP1001 and its showing only 4 persons. At the project level, the data is picked from the same table but initially fetches with work centre as input and then capacity ID as input. Finally it combines the data (6 Persons) and show from CJ20n and its different from the work centre data.
is this the standard behavior or we missing something

I think you have assigned two person at capacity category level for that WC.
Open your WC in CJR3 --> Click on capacity header icon -->on new screen click on HRMS link button ( check no of person assigned here it should be two )

When i tried to use co11n , the earning appearence :
You want to confirm a network/order of the order type FEN1. However, this order type is allocated to an order category whose confirmation is not intended in this transaction.
You try to confirm a network using a transaction intended for confirming production orders. Since networks and production orders are assigned to different order categories, the system issues an error message.
so i still can't use this tcode, do you have any?

Work Center in Maintenance Order.

Due to Process Change some maintenance work centers become obsolete.
Can it possible to hide or work center do not see in F4 help in Maintenance order.

Jogeswara Rao Kavala input is the most suitable in your case however another work around would be :
If you are using the "Person Responsible" for your work center, then remove the entry from the person responsible for such obselete work center as they will not be used any more and no person will be responsible for their maintenance and co-ordination. This will help in all other reports selection and analysis also.
While searching for work center(F4 Screen), default the tab "Person Responsible".Now when you select any work center based on person responsible, automatically that work center will be excluded from your selection screen.
Pre-requisite: You use Person responsible assignment in ALL work centers....
Other way would be to set deletion flag to this work center so that even if they are included by user without looking into F4 help, system will prevent those work center from including in the work order for further processing.

I have been still reading docs for this topics. Now yes you are right there are 2 places for adding HR to work center. As I have read there is a reason for this.
If you add HR to work center you will add people to work center indirectly. Now I'm not sure yet if I should add HR work center to work center and then add people to capacity in addition. But I will check it soon.
And the second way is to add people from HR to capacity directly.
The benefit for this second way - directly to capacity - is you can use capacity of added to work center people as standard capacity of this work center.

About Work Center : Work Center is a person, a group of persons, a machine or a group of machines.
Just understand the above lines. this is the basic defination of work center independent from any PP or PM work center.
Now, if work center is created to perform Maintenance tasks with * work center category 0005 * those work centers are called maintenance work centers.
( Generally persons or group of persons are created as work center in PM)
If work center is created to perform Production tasks with * work center category 0002 * those work centers are called PP work centers.
(Generally Machines or group of machines are created as work centers in PP)
In Plant maintenance, work centers can be defined in Hierarchy i.e. work center heirarchy is possible.
take an example: you have created a work center with a group of people. you need to define who would be person responsible for this group & also you can define the persons heirarchy with the integration of HR.( e.g. Manager-Senior Engineer- Engineer-Associate Engineer- Senior Fitter- Fitter)
The difference in one word is : Both are work centers but having different category & being used to perform different kind of tasks.
For the trasaction : i would only like to say that while creating from PM nodes by t-code IR01, system give you default work center category 0005.

im using a task and creating a workitem,
in the latest end im giving the deadline, I am using a rule for determining the person to whom the deadline is to be sent.
i want to show the person responsible for the work item in the dead line message.
how this can be achieved ?

Hi,
If you are using modelled deadline , then in the branch of this deadline, you can use a method which determines (or try if result element of rule can be used) , the person responsible, and then get this person as export parameter of this method and bind to workflow container element, so that you will be able to use it in your next step.

Regarding work center configuration.

Hi PP Gurus,
We need to take an account to Rated Line Speed (Bottles per minute) (i.e. It should be the current capacity of the bottling line operating at the full rated speed, irrespective of the bottling format).
We're using Discrete Manufacturing scenario and work center (CR01). How could it be taken into account.
Is there any alternte way to put an additional fiueld in work center create (CR01)/work center change (CR02) transaction code?

hi,
What I mentioned is , create a reference operation set of one operation with that particular work center and maintain operation times as the speed of that line ( 100 bottles for minute should be entered as base qty as 100 and time as 1 min). Call this reference operation set in any routings that uses this line.
If you do this, you don't need additional field in work center and so don't get confused with it.

Person responsible inheritance

Hello Guys,
I am just wondering is there any std way to have the person responsible name from maintenance plan to work order ?
I don't see any field in maint plan to put the person name which will inherit to work order and also in the shop paper.
I have used sort field in maintenance plan and it reflects in shop paper thru customizing but it did not reflect in work order....if I want to have my sort field info in work order, any exits will help me out to make it happen ?
Also in normal work orders, we do have person responsible field in work order which can be refelcted in shop paper thru customizing but is there any std way apart from this ?
I remember used to assign the person name to workcenter thru HRMS but not able to remember it solves my purpose on this scenario in anyway.

I understand this is not standard functionality and tried with "IPRM0003 User fields: Maintenance plan" but this exit is not directly updating the value in person responsbile field in WO rather it is updating in the "Z" field ( newly created) at the back ground.
My issue, I dont see the exit in IW32 to pass the value from Z field to person responsbile field. I have tried with almost all the exits and most of them does not have the importing function to implement it.
My goal is to pass the value mentioned in the Sort field to Person responsble field in WO. With the help of above exit,
I could pass the value from sort field to Z field(at the background) but I could not pass the value again from Z field to Person resposnsible field.

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to download notifications based on main work center.The downloaded notifications contains task level person responsible.If the notification contains four task assigned to different persons.Let suppose one task is assigned to the mobile user and other three task to another user.Now the first mobile user should able to edit the task assigned to him ,but he should able to see all other task in disable mode that are assigned to other user.Iam using agentry work manager 5.3

Fax the Maintenance order to the person responsible to work center

The business requirement is that the maintenance order should be faxed to the person responsible for the main work center used in the maintenance order.

Creation of work center CR01 (error message in last page)

During creation of work center .After all the configuration being done ,in the last page the error message displayed is (ACTIVITY SET CAN NOT BE ALLOCATED TO 2009).
Some of the major setting done in the last page is
This is Costing Lab
1) work Center
2)Activity description (Like set up, Machine and Labouring)
3)Selection of activity type
4)Preferred Unit

1. Please enter the CCtr categories value as "*" in the basic data tab.
1)in KL02 for this particular activity type give as *
2. Enter ATyp category field value ar "1" in the basic data tab.
2) in the field A type mainatin -1
3. Actl Acty Type Cat field value as "As in planning".
in this field also mainatin as 1
YOU MUST SPECIFY A COST ELEMENT FOR ACTIVITY CAT 1
first creat a cost element in KA01 (pramairy) & in KA06 (secondry)
then asiign in KL02 for the required activity types
