Creation of substitution for populating field like segment

Hi Friends,
It is an requirement with my client as they have a customized field called Customer Segment Not like SAP standard Segment and they want to populate customer segment in all the records or all the documents posted.
Luckily, they have only one Customer segment and they want all the documents posted should populate this field by using substitution. I want a help out of you as how do I can write the substitution for this scenario. The customized field is named as YYCSG.

FI substitutions for custom fields in BKPF table

Hi,
We are having trouble making the substitution work for the custom header fields in table BKPF.
We have tried straight substitutions, exits and populating the fields on the interface table ACCHD.
Nothing works. But the substitution for the custom fields in BSEG works.
We did activated these substitution rules.
Do we need to have blank instead of "X" in the GB01 table for the field BEXCLUDE ?
Did we miss any thing here or we cannot use substitutions for header custom fields ?

Hi Dave,
Currently, In BKPF table we have entries as follows:
For BOOCLASS "008" we have BEXCLUDE as blank
where as for "015" we have BEXCLUDE as "X" .
Do we need to change this "X" to blank as well ? Also I do not see the custom fields in GB01 table, but I see them in BKPF table though.
We have already regenerated the rules by running RGUGBR00 program.

Populating the custom segments for the Basic type attached to HRMD_A (IDOC)

Hi,
I've enhanced a few infotypes and want the new fields to be available in an IDOC created through the program RHALEINI.
Here are the steps I followed.
Step 1 :(we31)
We created new segment Z1IT023 , containing all the fields from infotype 0023 along with the custom fields added.
Step 2 :(we30)
We created an extension of IDOC type HRMD_A07 by name HRMD_EX to include this segement.
Step 3 :
We added an entry in table EDIMSG against message type HRMD_A , with base type : HRMD_A07 , extension : HRMD_EX , version : 700
Step4 :(we20)
Now , we made changes to partner profile by adding entry for message type HRMD_A with base IDOC type as HRMD_A07 and extension as HRMD_EX
Step5:
We changed the entry in table T777D and specified the IDOC segment as Z1IT023.
Step6.
We then tried to execute the report RHALEINI to generate the IDOC. The IDOC got created, but it didn't have the data for the segment Z1IT023.
In fact, there is a different solution to this... by adding the custom segment(containing nly the new infotype fields) as a child of the original segment E1P0023 and then writting code in the user-exit to populate the segment, but our intension is to have a single segment with all the infotype 0023 data. Besides, I believe in HR, making an entry in T777D should free us from writing any code for populating the IDOC segments.
Can anybody please suggest me, where am I going wrong. How can the new segments be populated automatically.

Hi all,
for a material in mara, i am serching for the fields like
1) date of manufacture of that material
2)country where that material is manufactured.
i.e country of origin.
plz suggest me.

i am in graet trouble now.i am searching for the fields like
1)country of origin where the finished good is created.
2) customer sales order number
3)customer sales order line number
i am writing a report for delivery order.in this report i have to refer customer PO & customer SO .
i mean, my company has a customer ( seagate) & seagate has a customer (let maxtor).initially maxtor will give a PO to seagate then seagate will raise a SO againest maxtor.
Then seagate will send PO number(of maxtor), PO line number,SO number(seagate), SO line number(seagate) to our company.
Then i have to write a report for sales order & delivery order.in these reports i have to refer seagate PO number & seagate SO number for reference.
i got PO number as vbkd-bstkd but not getting any field for reference Sales order.plz advice me on this. it is very very urgent.

How to make the logs captured for Z fields in ME21N/ ME22N

Hi
I have devloped new tab(Screen) and added Z field in the PO header (ME21N) as per my requirement. But whenever I do changes to the perticular Z field, logs are not captured (ME21N->ENVIRONMENT-->HEADERLOG). How to make the logs captured for Z fields like standard fields. Is there any way?

user facing problem, at the time of Business Transaction , getting error while MIRO, " Field Prof.Segment is a required filed for GL 454010, kindly let me know where and wht input parameters for the same. Prof. Segment.
we have made Copa Report. as per client requirement. in this regard , as i understand ,all P&L GL Cost element field status group Profit Segment Required entry. just wht happened while doing Miro, getting error for 327225 i.e Price Diffrence gain. earlier FSG was G029 but i did changed Profit Segment Required entry . copy from G029 and given new name COPA . and copa FSG Profit segment required entry.
but finally we have change like earlier FSG i.e G029, coz at the time of Miro Profit segment filed was there but is was not active for input parameters. finally we have resolve the issues without Profitability segment... but its not right. so kindly requested to you ... where i have to config in Copa report.

client want material cost under GL Group Head :- Manpower ,Consumables and Energy GL already assign in PA Structure, under Conversion cost . and revenues. so it will come gross Profit. but revenues updated based on Condition Types .. i don knw why nt updated.. as i understand user skip the PSG thats the reason , thats why i given FSG as mandatory in relevent GL FSG .now tell me wht should i do . for this issues scenarios matching with FSV with COPA report.
Note : in FSV P&L Account if m not wrong. not balance sheet item. FYI.

Code for populating the field

can any one help me out for populating the appended field to data source.
<u><b>My requirement:</b></u> I have enhanced the data source 2lis_11_vahdr by appending the field zzmatnr in to its extract structure, Now i want to populate this field from the field available in the MARC table. so can any one help me out the whole code for this?
apart from this i have one another question that is if i append this field to the communication structure( like mcvbak, mcvbap... etc) then how we will populate this field.
and what is the exact difference between appending the field to the extract structure and appending the field to the communication structure.

You have write the code in the include zxrsau01.

2) Replicate the datasource.
3) Now with the above code datasource R/3 part is finished.To receive the new column at the BW end you have to add a column to your ODS or infocube as well to the communication structure(say ZOLDMAT in my case) and map the new field(ZZOLDMATNO) to the field (ZOLDMAT).
4) Activate the Transfer Rule.

Value is not populated for new field in RSA7 from PI Interface

We have 3.5 bw and PI 7.x. we have a PI interface in bw working in production and now we enhanced the interface with a new added field. I mapped the new field in transfer rule/ modified update rules/ods and regenerated the soap datasource in bw. The user has uploaded the file in FTP with this new field added. PI picked the file processed and the value for new field got populated and pushed the data to BW. In RSA7, i dont see the data filled in for this new added field.
Not sure, if i missed any steps, in BW, so that I can populate the value for this field.

I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. Hi,
In the Selection screen,go to Settings->Value Restrictions tab->Read Mode Settings->Custom radio button and select the options Values in Master Data or Only Values in InfoProv or Only Posted values for navigation.
After this setting,check whether you are getting the data or not.

Metadata fields like Tags, page ID etc not available for a Content in Content Server info.

Hi,
Am trying to build a Webcenter Portal application with the help of a tutorial. This requires to upload files to Content Server and use these files to build the app. and to link the navigations for menu and sub-menus.
I have checked in the files manually into Webcenter Content but when checked for the Content Information, metadata fields like Tags, Page ID, Websites etc are not displayed.
These fields are necessary to relate to the Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) query used in application.
The tutorial link am referring to is : Connecting to and Managing Content Repositories - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.6.0)
Content Management system server version is: 11gR1- 11.1.1.7.0
Please let me know if am missing something.
