Creative 6.1 Inspire 6700 - Problem with the volume (amplifier unit / plate)

Hello everybody!
I have bought a Creative Inspire 6.1 6700 on January of 2004 and yesterday I found out that the amplifier unit (which is on the back side of the sub) is malfunctioning.
Actually when I try to turn on the volume from the wired remote control the sound is heavily distorted and the green led is very dim (not bright like it used to be).
The power adapter is good, the fuse inside the amplifier plate is good, so it must be something within the amplifier unit / plate.
Can anyone throw some light into this? Do you know if I can buy from somewhere, just the amplifier plate?

Just look at the plate from the bottom side. Probably you will see some spot or region of yellow color (burnt out).

I have a problem with the volume keys on my keyboard. This started a couple days ago and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. When I press the volume up or down buttons, the graphic appears on the screen as it normally would, but has no effect on the volume of the sound coming out of my speakers. Therefore, the only way to change the volume of music or whatever I am listening to is to use the volume control within the program/website itself (itunes, youtube, etc.) Even changing the volume on the volume icon at the menu bar on top of the screen does nothing. If anyone has an idea of how to go about solving this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

First look into the Preference > Sound > Outpur whether internal Speakers are choosen.
The only Preference to delete I can discover is com.apple.systempreferences.plist in your home Library folder. You can try to move it out to the desktop for example, not to loose all your settings. Restart and see whether the problem still persists. If you don't know how to do this here some Terminal (Applications > Utilities) commands. Enter them by copy and paste followed by <enter>
mv ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist ~/Desktop/
restart
to get it back:
mv ~/Desktop/com.apple.systempreferences.plist ~/Library/Preferences/
confirm with "y" if you are asked to replace this file.

Creative inspire 6700 (trouble with the sub)

I have Creative inspire 6700, for some weeks ago they stoped working, the sub stopeded making bass.
I dont know whats wrong. I have never treated them badly. When i turned the speaker system off and on again, it was bass in sec. then it disappered again. I have had them in 3 years i think and I dont know whats wrong.
Can anybody help, and tell me what to do!
And do I have a guarantee?

Customer Support should be your contact point if you need assistance with the faulty product. Also, if you already had it for 3 years, generally I believe your warranty are had already cease but you can still contact Customer Support and they should be able to advice.
What you can try at the moment is testing the speaker on another system and see if the same thing happen.

Creative X-Treme Gamer has Problems with the HS-

hi,
my x-treme gamer doesn`t like headsets my old speed link and my new hs-900 doesnt work, windows doesnt recognize them, i've tried to activate mic boost and deactivate it, nothing works, i have coneccted it through my front connectors in my case i can hear sound but mic never works.
Also i got another problem, my master volume is only on 40% when i go over it its to loud even when my speaker are at volume 0 i hear something. also when i plug my headset in it can be that i have weird sounds. also i have to reinstall my card all 4-5 days because its not in the device manage rin windows, i think the card is defect maybe

Do you have any other USB devices plugged into the pc? If you do, please remove them to see if it makes a difference. You can also try connecting the webcam to a different USB port.

Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris or an object lodged in the headset jack:
Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.
For Original iPhone: If there is light debris, such as lint, in the headset jack, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset jack and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times to remove the debris.
If you have installed a protective film on the display, either ensure that the receiver is not covered or remove the film completely.
Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If you have paired with a Bluetooth headset that is nearby, either use the headset or turn Bluetooth off (chooseSettings > General > Bluetooth).
Restart the iPhone.
If restarting the iPhone doesn't resolve the issue, try restoring the device.
If the issue persists, go to the Service Answer Center - iPhone for information on service.

Problem with the ECG amplifier

hi everybody.
i am working on an ECG project, so as a first stage i must design the ECG sensor, my project will need also labVIEW later on, so i download the ECG virtual signal which can be found by pressing on the labVIEW icon inside MULTISIM but what ever i try any circuit i didnt find the solution for the output. plzzz i need help any advice will be thankful.
i will post down what i did so far, by the way the ECG generator have to change the common mode=4.8 and the frequency=8
then if you chose the oscilloscope next to the ECG signal, can see the pure signal BUT at the last oscilloscope there are nothing. i used many types of op-amp but nothing can work.

Nokia 6700s - problem with the headfones

hello,
i'm icieWind, I reacently purchase a Nokia 6700s, I love it!
the problem is my head fones, they don't work. there is no sound, the microfone is ok but the fones...
well I have two headfones, so I tried them on. my Nokia only say : "use cellfone microfone" how can I resolve this? please help

Try the headphones in another phone or music player and see if they work and do the same with another pair on your phone this will eliminate if its the headphones or the phone you can use 3rd party headphones its ok,also check that they are fully inserted correctly you should hear a click noise.

Hi, I bought on 25.04.2013 CC licenses for teams (for 12 months).
In my account (in subscriptions) I can see the end date 02/06/2014 (only 9 months). According to the license shall be for 12 months to 24/04/2014. Why?

Anyone else had this problem with the 2.1 Inspire T2900?

Problem is as follows
The speakers seem to vary in their output quality/volume. I will be playing mp3s (High bit rate) and they will be sounding awesome then out of nowhere at a random point the volume drops slightly and the speakers seems to loose I am not sure what to call it, their presence/richness/depth.
The problem once it happens seems to stay for as long as it likes then suddenly I will turn the speakers on a few days later and they will sound great again.
Not my Audigy soundcard because this doesn't seem to happen with other speakers.......
Anyone ever had a similar problem with this speaker set?! It is near impossible to test because it is so random.
I have looked around on the net and there seems to be a problem with fluctuating volume with the wired remote speaker types but in this case the speakers seem to be loosing more than just volume.....

no not at all..it was just tested if it was being detected on a windows os..it did..i am doubting either it is a problem with the router or the macbook pro....but earlier it did connect well to a hp officejet pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer over a different network(at someone else's house)...

Hello, I have recieved an alert for the second time in a week stating that there is a problem with the printer or ink system. The alert prompts me to turn off, then on the printer. If problem persists, contact HP. 0x610000f6. What could be the cause for this type of alert to appear?

'0x610000f6' error message appears if there is a 'Paper Jam' or a 'Carriage Jam' in the printer.
