Creative centrale continues to be rubbish, how hard is it to fix these bugs?

?I cant bloody believe that creative centrale is so hard to make just WORK.
Firstly when i delete one track off my playlist via centrale, 2-3 random tracks gets wiped off the list. Secondly the programs search feature is virtually useless. Thirdly the program randomly crashes/locks up.
Do NOT pester me with what version im using/is windows updated/did i pay my electrical bill and what the **bleep** ever.
All these bugs you are PERFECTLY aware of cause, and you should **bleep** well have the professional pride to just **bleep**ing fix it.
You have sold me a Ferrari (X-Fi2) among mp3 players, with a 978 Lada motor (centrale) under the bloody hood.
Oh, and post scriptum: The half second lag x-fi2 provides with any x-(fidelity) enabled is also a real killer. Great **bleep**ing work on the end too...and yes its running .22.03.

P?This user interface is the worst piece of garbage I've ever attempted to use. It is totally incomprehensible, especially after the previous interface that was so wonderfully intuiti've.
It can't find files on my hard dri've, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to transfer files OFF of the device onto the hard dri've (gee, who would ever want to do such an esoteric thing?) and trying to figure out how to "tag" files, use the genres, playlists and artists functions is like trying to do yoga on the moon without oxygen.
I have literally spent 0+ hours struggling with this piece of crap. I've got the latest version, I've formatted to start from scratch, everything.
Great job scrapping a great little user-friendly interface for this horrible crap. I will never, ever buy another Creative MP3 player again due only to your "creative centrale" debacle.

I am using OBIEE 11.1.13.0 on Linux(OEL5.4-64bit).Once you get the password, you can access the README file, so just follow the instructions in that file.

CREATIVE CENTRALE, PLEASE, I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND

HELP!!!! I really don't understand. I always buy creative, they sound awesome, I hate ipod, I have several players, I tell people about the hardware, but, WHY, WHY, WHY? such unimaginably amazingly good hardware and abso-lutely appalling and useless softwafre?? It really spoils the whole experience.
TAKE NOTE CREATIVE. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CAN YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR ATROCIOUS, RUBBISH, UNSTABLE AND UNFATHOMABLY HARD TO USE AND UNINTUITIVE SOFTWARE AS IT IS TOTALLY RUINING MY OTHERWISE EXCELLENT CREATIVE EXPERIENCE!!!!!
Creative Centrale is appallingly bad, creating a new playlist is like torture, now it wont work at all and I have reinstalled it many times. I am going to (reluctantly) have to buy a new player to replace my lovely little Zen Mosaic JUST so I can get some decent software to create playlists.
Really this is beyond belief guys, best hardware out there, worst software. Want to know how Apple became no ? No, it wasnt the flashy looks, all that kudos came later, how they really became no is simple, despite continuing?

Unable to select folders for Creative Centrale sync

I have a Zen X-Fi wireless LAN MP3 player, bought yesterday. I keep the files I want to sync to my player in the folders Shared Music, Shared Videos, and Shared Pictures.
I keep files waiting to be edited/finished in My Music, My Pictures, and My Videos.
How do I get Creative Centrale to sync the files in the shared folders and ignore the files in the My Documents folders? At the moment I can add the shared forders to the watched folders?list with no trouble but it seems impossible to remove the others as they are greyed out and appear to be hard coded onto the software. As a result a lot of unfinished files are in the sync list which I obvioiusly do not want.

I don't understand what you explain, but i'll try to help.
You have selected to view by tags, its selected in the upper line of icons, the one next to downloads folder icon, you can select to order by other things (date, name, etc...), but even in tag view you have the no-tag-list so you don't need to add tags to everything.
Had this been a clue?

Trouble Adding Movies - CMV Files and Creative Centrale

I've been trying to use Creative Centrale, it starts transfering movies until the window pops up again acting as if I've just reconnected my mp3 again to the computer and stops the transferring process.

Creative centrale can't play music files stored on Zen X-Fi.

<\I installed Creative Centrale, connected the player and it gets recognized alright, but for some reason I can't play the music files stored on it, is it normal? Centrale plays the files on PC just fine, but if I try to play the files on the player nothing happens. I wanted to know if this is normal and if it's not, how to fix this problem.

Anyone has any clue if this is normal or not? I find it quite odd that a creative software is unable to play music stored on creative players.

Creative Centrale Crashes with Windows 7 64 bit

/CI bought a zen style 300 mp3 player. The Creative Centrale program crashes everytime I try and use it trying to access files on the Zen. Anybody have this program working? Any suggestions?
I have tried to load the software twice.
I can see the Zen via the Computer... My Zen in Windows but not this program...

I had to Format to fix that issue. Now it worked so I could see the Zen 300 but did crash during tranfering music. I have tried it twice now. Once the Window 7 crashes, I cannot get the Centale program to enter my Zen.
Just a hint about how to get into the Zen Recover mode. Start off.. then push the on button and once you see the screen, quickly press back button holding them both down at the same time.

The program still crashed during transfering files to my Zen... I keep trying but I can always tranfer using Window 7 just by transfering from one folder to the next folder.

Creative Centrale sync qu

Hi everyone first post here and looking for some advice. I have replaced my iPod with a Creative Zen xFi and am ovbviously using Creative Centrale to sync and upload my music. However, I have noticed that in my main iTunes playlist that I use there are about 750 songs but in the equivalent playlist on Centale there are only 60 songs and I cant get it to update. Can I clarify the following points:
1. Is this due to the?possibility that the other songs are songs I have purchased from iTunes thus making them incompatible to Centrale?
2. How do I overcome this problem, is it'ssimply a matter of ripping the songs onto CDs and then ripping them onto Creative Centrale?
I hope someone out there can help me, many thanks.

Glad to hear you have some of the functions working. When I installed my XM card it installed all of the applications on the CD. I do not know what bundled software came with the Xtreme Audio card. Do you have your original SB install CD? Below is my install log for the XM card.

Can't update Playlist in Creative Centrale

Hi,
I just bought the MX mp3 player and it comes with Creative Centrale (CC) for my Windows XP.
When I ran it, CC automatically? imported Playlist from my iTune software which is fine.
?However, when I later added songs to my iTunes Playlist, my Creative Centrale software did not import the new songs from iTune's Playlist to its Playlist.
Also, I added songs to my Creative Centrale's Playlist (did not add them to iTunes) but when I check it hours later, the songs were gone. Why is that?
Also, can someone give me documentation on how to add songs to Creative's Playlist by dragging and dropping songs from Windows XP's explorer ?
Or do I need to install Creative MediaSource to manage playlists?

I have the same problem on my iPad 2 running iOS 6.1. I also have an iPhone4S running iOS 6.1 but this works OK.

As Ankit stated please try installing and activating Creative Cloud on your replacement computer/hard drive. If you have reached your maximum activation count then you will be prompted to deactivate all your activations. This will then allow you to activate on the replacement computer/hard drive.
For Creative Suite 6 I would recommend that you try installing as well. If you receive a message that you have exceeded your amount of allowable activations then please contact our support team directly. Our support team will be able to increase your activation count and allow you to install on the replacement computer/hard drive. Creative Centrale werkt niet meer (Creative Centrale doesn't work anymore)

I have installed Creative Centrale on my laptop (windows vista) but when I want to start it I get the message "Creative Centrale does not work any more"? (in Dutch). When I try to delete the programme from my laptop I get the same message. When I try to install it again I get the message that it is already installed and when I confirm that it should be deleted the install wizard gives me the message "busy deleting creative centrale" but it gets stuck. Can someone help me with this problem? How can I delete creative centrale and install it again?

Creative Centrale won't let me rip DVDs

I just purchased a Zen X-Fi2, which came with the Creative Centrale software (I have even downloaded version.5.08)? Every time I attempt to rip, or even preview, a DVD with Creative Centrale I receive the message "Unable to rip/preview DVD.DVD decoder that is required is not found on your computer."? My OS is Windows XP and I have WMP , Windows Media Center, InterActual Player 2.0, RealPlayer, QuickTime Player on my computer.
I thought Creative Centrale was supposed to give me the ability to rip my DVDs for viewing on the Zen X-Fi2. It is not acting accordingly. Any ideas, other than purchasing additional software?

You can't rip protected DVDs with Creative Centrale. You'll have to rip the DVD iso image to your hard dri've first with something like DVD Decrypter, then use a virtual drive to mount that image.
Then use Creative Centrale to rip from the virtual dri've.

Can't install Creative Centrale?

Can't install Creative Centrale?> I just received a Creative Zen Mozaic 6GB as an early birthday present (YAY!), but couldn't use the installation CD that came with it as the mini CD won't sit in my vertical tray *rolls eyes*
So I downloaded the Centrale software from the website, and when I tried to install it I got the following message:
"Your version of Windows Operating System is not supported by Creative Centrale. Please upgrade to Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 or later versions before resuming installation"
?The packaging says that it's compatible with MS Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher.
My computer is Windows XP Media Center 2002, Service Pack 3
So according the box I ought to be able to use the software included, but I can't actually use the disk provided; and I can't use the software I downloaded from the site (is this the same as the one on the disk?).
Any ideas on how I can get Centrale to work on my PC? Clearly upgrading my operating system is out of the question! ?

Creative Centrale and Zen MX

I just got a Zen MX because my Zen finally died on me, I installed Creative Centrale and I can't get any of my music onto the Zen. I followed all the instructions and can't find anything online about my problem. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what but I can't figure out how to transfer. In the transfer screen it says "All Tracks - Transfer Pending" but I can't do anything. The first time I tried to get it to work the bar at the bottom showed me how much space I needed (I had plenty, 6GB or whatever it is) but now it just shows how much free space I have even with the Transfer Pending. Help would be very appreciated, or a VERY detailed step by step?

?Yea When you get it figured out, let the rest of us know. There is an old saying out here. Keep It Simple Stupid. or KISS for short. The programmers that created Creative Centrale need to be replaced or do a whole rewrite of the software. I do not want to open CC in the default music folder on my HD. I am deleting or moving files from my HD when I thought I was in the MP3 player. Not being a genius on my part but when you look at the file format and GUI, man they look very similar. It should default to the MP3 player. The software for my original ZEN was so nice and made a hell of a lot of common sense. Something the current set of college grads and interns don't seem to have. Bring back or in-cooperate Play for Sure. Let me access the MP3 player from my HD and let me do coping and editing of the play list w/o open up Creatives software or any other mp3 player to create some God awful m3u list. All this should be LIKE DUH! So, if this ever gets forwarded to the programmers, Keep It Simple STUPID.
