Creative Cloud App breaks Adobe Download Manager, doesn't install apps, now I'm unable open apps
This has been the worst cloud app experience I've ever seen.
First of all the CC app overwrites the Adobe Download Manager to the point where you'll never be able to go back to it again.
I would normally be OK with this, but the CC app doesn't work and closes itself instantly, rendering it completely useless and unable to install any of the CC apps.
After an hour and 20 minutes between being on hold, and speaking with support, I have no solution.
I'm now at a point where I have no apps installed, and I can't install any new apps because the CC app doesn't work, and the Download Manager will either a) error if CC app isn't installed, or b) open the CC app if it is installed (which doesn't work, and instantly closes).
Overall, it's a disaster

I'm wonder if it might help to start fresh,
Uninstall any Creative Cloud programs
Control Panel > Programs & Features (Windows 7)
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs (XP)
Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers (Mac OS X)
Run the cleaner tool to ensure everything is removed

Reinstall the Creative Cloud desktop app from https://creative.adobe.com/products
Reinstall applications
It will be a lot of work but it will probably fix it.

Simple answer: If it doesn't show up, your system doesn't support it. refer to the tech specs on the product pages and verify the system requirements.

Any thoughts?Hi J, Unless you think there is some reason you need the DLM or GetPlus, I would suggest you Remove them from Add/Remove. Both of those are causing problems. You don't need them to uninstall/install Flash Player. Reboot after
removing them and then use the following links to Uninstall/Install.

Download and SAVE this Installer to your Desktop http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
Read over the Uninstall instructions and be sure to follow the last 2 NOTES. Check your security settings and the Anti-Virus info-Norton. You don't want any Flash programs running while Uninstalling, so this would be your Anti-Virus/Spyware that runs in realtime; also check the system tray. Since you don't want to Disable your Security while online, disconnect from the Internet after you have the Uninstaller and Installer on your Desktop. When you are off line
then Disable the Firewall as well as any Anti-Virus/Spyware. Then Run the Uninstaller, Reboot & follow that last NOTE per the Uninstall instructions. Then Run the Installer, Reboot. Then Enable your Firewall & Security, connect back to the Internet. Test here http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about

Creative Cloud Error Message when Downloading a file
I have Adobe Creative Team Cloud.
I loaded a file onto the cloud on April 22.
Now I am trying to download it.
I get an error message ...
"Unable to download.
Unable to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or can not be found.
Please try again later."Are you trying to download directly from the creative cloud website or using creative cloud connection?
There was some intermittent issues going on with the website, that might have been fixed now.
Could you try logging into the creative cloud website and retry.
You might also try the same with an alternate browser and check.
Else, you could install Creative Cloud Connection from Adobe Application Manager and then login with your same adobe id/password and it will sync your files. Simply copy paste to your machine.
Let me know in case you still face the same issue. -

Adobe Download Manager Creative Cloud.
I’ve been back and fourth with customer service about an issue I’ve encountered after installing creative cloud, more specifically in the downloading stage. Most of the trouble-shooting steps have failed, and although I have not completed them all, I want to see if someone I the adobe community can resolve this issue.
I’ve been attempting to install creative suit on my laptop which has
windows XP version 2011 service pack 3. My internet browser is Mozilla
Originally when I purchased the subscription and after installing attempted to download the actual software to my computer and I was left with an error message stating: “the remote server is not responding in a proper manner. Please retry after a few minutes”. I did and same result.
A customer service rep provided me with a link to a patch.
Once again the install of the program worked but once I managed to get to the download part of it a new error message appeared
“Adobe Download Manager is corrupted and must be reinstalled. Download now (which I did and it takes me to the page with the patch which i was already provided), or contact customer service”.
I returned to customer service and was provided with the creative suite cleaner. I cleared out the original installation and (just in case) uninstalled my trial software Adobe Ill. (which, by the way I have no issues whatsoever installing any trial software. My only issue is with this.)
I installed adobe creative cloud again, install went well once again the same error message has before appeared (the file is corrupted) I can’t figure this out, and it’s killing me. I have on my computer an old version of photoshopcs2 and adobe flash 11 active X (I don’t know if that matters). I’ve tried many different alternatives, went has far has created a new admin account on my computer to see if that will do the trick, yet still left with that dreaded error message. I really hope someone can help me resolve this.KittieKatNY2013 it sounds like you are experiencing network configuration issues with the Adobe Application Manager. If you are on a managed network please work with your I.T. department to ensure that the Adobe Application Manager/PDApp.exe has proper access to the Internet.

I can find the Adobe After Effects CC page on Adobe website, however, I can't find it on Creatuve Cloud.

Adobe Application Manager fails to install when I try to download CC
I have tried to download CC but keep getting the error messate that Adobe Application Manager fails to install. How can I download CC?
For Windows 8, 64-bit,
I Renamed OOBE to OOBE_old located at
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
I then relaunched the Browser
I went to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
I Signed in with Adobe ID and password.
I clicked on the download button but absolutely nothing was happening.

I hope this bug will be fixed promptly because all my CC applications are now paid for a while and not yet presently accessible and useable.
I feel, in all fairness, until the problem is fixed, Adobe should provide a credit.

My Adobe application manager doesn't list the 2014 versions of the core programs. I need them to grade the work of my students, as my school runs these versions and I can't open the work on my computer.

I got it while waiting for the answer. The "Application Manager" is not how these get installed (how would I know that). I installed the "Adobe Creative Cloud" application and got the new versions.
It's was confusing because the Application manager installed on Nov 4. Very recently right! (but just prior to updating my operating system to Yosemite, OK Duh). And of course Yosemite has changed the look and functionality of everything, including this, so anything I was doing that should be intuitive was less so.
