Creative Cloud app logs out every 20-40 minutes.

Hi. My CC logs out very often during the day. I have to re-type my cc username and passwort approx: 20-30 time a day!!! Nearly every time I open a program like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Muse, Dreamweaver. Everytime I have to re-type my login. Problem exists since 7 weeks. Yesterday I made new WIN7 installation. But still same problem. I sit here in front of the screen sice 24 hours now to solve the problem. No success but huge amount of coffee.
Thanks for your replies.

  • Creative Cloud signs me out every day

Creative Cloud has started signing me out every time I start my computer. The sign in dialog doesn't work, it only shows the sign in button but no input fields. To fix this I need to stop CC and go to to the C:\Users\yourUserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder, then delete the file named "opm.db", then start again to log in. I have to do this EVERY DAY! It is highly annoying.

  • My Creative Cloud application signs out every 30 minutes

Same problem, Windows 7 32-bit. Effective today all of a sudden, Creative Cloud logs me out every 15-30 minutes or so. When I log back in, I'm always greeted with a mesage on the Home tab saying "You updated Creative Cloud, 1 min" as if I just updated Creative Cloud a minute ago. Which I did not. Insanely annoying. Basically every time I open a PDF, it will open, then seconds later close because (presumably) it concludes that I don't have a valid CC membership. So I go log into CC again, then open my PDF. Until a half-hour later when the same thing happens again. Followed the directions to verify correct permissions as suggested elsewhere (http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html); no dice. Seriously, just unbelievably annoying. Adobe, seriously, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

I have branched this out to a separate discussion as the review of your activation history has already determined that you are not affected by 64-bit products convert to trial on launch or prompt for activation after licensing | CS6, CCM - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/64-bit-creative-suite-applications-repeatedly.htm l.
DoNotWantAScreenName I am sorry but I don't have a list of conflicting processes or applications to offer you.  The selective startup step was suggested to help diagnose if you have a conflicting application which could be causing the sign out to occur.
Another option, which has helped others, is to also try a different User account to see if you face the same difficulty.  I did not recommend this step first as the activation history for these Users corresponded with the sign out occuring when they logged out of their User accounts.

  • Creative Cloud keeps logging out

I'm frustrated by continually having to enter my user/password in the Creative Cloud PC app. This has been going on for a while now and I see other people are having similar issues. This is annoying and a serious issue if I want to keep files synced.
For example, I logged in this a.m. and it asked me to update a bunch of apps. Later, it asked me to log in AGAIN.
And then when I went to use Acrobat, it asked me to log in to that as a trial! I closed the app and it asked again the next time I opened a pdf. This is not doable.

    Hi,
Please follow the below steps to remove the error message of "You have been signed out".
1: Open Activity monitor from spotlight and end all Adobe related processes. You may find processes like AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon process.
2: Open a Finder window, select Go>Go to folder option, type in ~/Library and hit enter.
                             (Windows:  [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE)
3: Now navigate to Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/.. folder.
4: Delete opm file under OOBE.
              5: Rename OOBE to OOBEold.
6: Check if you have AAMupdater in the same location.
7: Please rename it to AAMupdaterold.
8: Click on gear icon on Creative Cloud desktop app and choose Quit Creative Cloud.
9: Then launch it, sign-in and click on Apps tab.

This has nothing to do with your pictures. As long as LR works, nothing happens. The CC app merely has lost an entry in the installer database. Would a reinstall fix it? Sure. Is it necessary? Not really (until the next version or update). So unless you have too much time to spend or something isn't working, I'm sure you can find more interesting things to do with your tiem. Otherwise use the cleaner tool and get to it:

  • Multiple Issues with Adobe Creative Cloud app.

I'm having multiple issues with the Adobe Creative Cloud app.
    1. Neither Photoshop CC nor Prelude CC get past the 47% mark when installing. They constantly give me "Installation Failed" messages. When I click on "Learn More", I'm told that:
    "Installation Failed
    Errors during Installation.(7)
    More Information"
So naturally, I click on More Information to get the following thrown at me (none of which I understand):
    Exit Code: 7 Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR:   -------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------  - 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s)    ERROR: 12/01/13 13:16:06:425 | [INFO] |  | OOBE | DE |  |  |  | 6076 | ---------- CustomHook_Helperx64 ---- Start ----------  12/01/13 13:16:06:426 | [ERROR] |  | OOBE | DE |  |  |  | 6076 | Cannot load function name 'CSInstallerCustomHookProc' from library C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\uninstall\{5F816B76-62F3-41C9-B651-27F49F25F50B}.data. Error 0    ERROR: System check returned with error : -4  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    2. I installed Lightroom 5, then uninstalled it. When I went back to re-install it, the Adobe Creative Cloud app wouldn't let me. It states that my Lightroom 5 is "Up to date" and is in my "Your Apps" section, not in the "Find New Apps" section. I've double checked my Programs and Features in Control Panel, and it's not there. I cleaned my registry, and it's still there. I deleted the "opm.db" file in my OOBE folder, and restarted CC - still nothing.
I've got to say, guys. I'm not very happy with the amount of time I've spent just trying to install programs on my PC. While the plan is for this to be intuitive at some point, it's not very functional at the moment. Any help you can provide me would be amazing - if you can provide it sooner than later, I'd be over the moon.
    Thanks.

I fixed it. I fixed it on my own. My journey took over a week (forty hours of back and forths, trial and error, and service!!) and included multiple calls, multiple online chats, unanswered forum posts, Twitter conversations with the Adobe Customer Service team, remote access sessions with Adobe technical teams, and finally this series of emails. In the end, I had to figure it out myself. I'm not happy - not with the time it took, and not with the level service I received based on the urgency that I made clear.
For anyone else that had this issue (or similar), here is what I did to fix it. This may seem excessive, but that's because I didn't know what else to do. Some of these steps may be redundant, or not required... but I wouldn't know because once I saw that it was working, I just kept going.
Anyway, here is the solution I came upon (I'm running Windows 7 64-bit):
    1) I uninstalled every single Adobe product (including Flash Player, Acrobat Player, Air, and Digital Editions).
    2) I ran the Cleaner Tool (which is not very good) and came across errors in trying to delete certain folders.
    3) I restarted my computer in Safe Mode, and logged into Windows 7 under my Administrator account.
    4) I manually went into every folder that contained the words "Adobe" and deleted everything. This includes my Program Data folder, my Program Files folders (both x86 and 64-bit), my AppData folders, my Roaming folders, my Temp folders - ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that contained any trace of Adobe, I deleted.
    5) I ran Microsoft Disk Cleanup and Piriform CCleaner to clean my registry and temp files.
    6) I restarted my computer using the normal boot process and logged into Windows as Administrator.
    7) I downloaded the Adobe Creative Cloud installer.
    8) I restarted my computer again, and logged into Windows as Administrator.
    9) I ran the Creative Cloud installer, and installed Premiere Pro.
    10) I restarted my computer again, and logged into Windows as Administrator.
    11) I ran the Creative Cloud installer, and installed Photoshop.
    12) I restarted my computer again, and logged into Windows as Administrator.
13, 14, 15...) I ran the Creative Cloud installer and installed whatever programs I needed, then I IMMEDIATELY restarted my computer before installing anything else.
    Hope this helps. Good luck!

  • Adobe Creative Cloud app, Mac OSX, "The Creative Cloud installation is no longer functioning..."

    OS: 10.9.4
For about 2+ weeks I've been getting the following message in the Creative Cloud App:
    Download Error
The Creative Cloud installation is no longer working
uninstall and download again from http...
I've searched through various discussions and followed every suggestion I had come across, including:
    Uninstalled/reinstalled Creative Cloud
Renamed files in the following directories:
    ~/Library/Applications support/Adobe/OOBE
    /Library/Applications support/Adobe/OOBE
    ~/Library/Applications support/Adobe/AAMUpdater
    /Library/Applications support/Adobe/AAMUpdater
    Deleted files in above-listed directories.
Checked all network settings including proxy, DNS, etc.
Logged in as myself, I launched Creative Cloud as root (sudo /path/to/app)
Between each step I uninstalled/reinstalled the Creative Cloud app. The logs (in ~/Library/Logs/) don't show any major issues, other than claiming that a preference file can't be read. I tried deleting all preferences related to ACC and the log continued to show the same message.
Any suggestions outside of the standard list of fixes would be most welcome, at this point I'm ready to cancel my CC subscription, I feel Adobe made a big mistake by changing to this format. When it works, it's great, but when it doesn't it causes loss of productivity and immense frustration.

Tried this with no success. Although, your mention of permissions led me to launching Disk Utility and repairing permissions. I then noticed my hard drive had a failing S.M.A.R.T. status. I swapped out the hard drive and restored from Time Machine backup, repaired permissions, uninstalled Creative Cloud, repaired permissions again and removed all files mentioned in my original post. I then reinstalled and: still get the same dang error! This is ridiculously frustrating.

  • Creative Cloud app won't stay signed in. Windows 8.1.

I have researched this over and over. It seems like a lot of people have this problem, but never any official answer. No solution.
I log into the Creative Cloud app. About 5 minutes later, sometimes 10 or 15 if I'm lucky, I get signed out. I've signed in about 4 times today so far.  Rinse and Repeat. All day long. Every day.
Oh well, gotta go. Time to sign back into Creative Cloud again.
My question is this: Is there a way to keep this thing logged in for more than 5 minutes at a time?

  • Adobe 2014.1 Not Showing in Adobe Creative Cloud App

    Hi Folks,
I previously opened a similar discussion. Re: 2014.1 App Updates Not Showing Up in Creative Cloud. The solution in the aforementioned discussion does not work in this new context.
    1. Reimage laptop with clean Mavericks 10.9 install, with Adobe CC preinstalled using CCP 1.4 and pre serialized.
    2. Enter my Adobe ID into Adobe Creative Cloud App. My Adobe ID has a valid CC subscription.
    3. Adobe 2014.1 app updates do not show up, except for Muse 2014.
    4. The Adobe Creative Cloud App did not think that Photoshop or any of the other Adobe CC Apps were installed, because I was given the option to "Install Photoshop"
    5. So, I "installed" Photoshop from the Adobe CC app. Still no updates
    6. Uninstall, reinstall. No updates.
    7. Checked for the existence of AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat in
    Location: <Startup Disk>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
This file does not exist on my system: it's just not there. So that fix will not work.
    8. And yes, I logged in and out of Creative Cloud, and Quit the Adobe CC app and restarted. No luck.
    Help.
    A.

I am not sure about the CC Packager so the following is more general:
What version of PS do you actually have installed?
