Creative Cloud app Windows 8.1 Black Screen.
Hello. I recently downloaded the Creative Cloud on my Windows 8.1 in order to try some of adobe's CC products. The problem is that the app doesnt start, it just stays on a black screen, like that.
I tried reinstallig it several times, but nothing seems to work.
What shoud I do??

How to delete comments on Creative Cloud app?
On my Creative Cloud app window, there's some comments posted on https://creative.adobe.com/files that does not want to go.
For more than 6 months, they're still there even if the files they refer to are deleted on the server.
How can I get rid of them?

Okay, I loaded the trial of Photoshop, have Creative Cloud loaded, downloaded Photoshop, trying to open Photoshop, but cannot, do I open it from the Creative Cloud App Screen?
It's not launched from the CC app.
If you have Windows, look under Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CC
If you have a Mac, look in the Application Folder > Photoshop CC -

My creative cloud app would not launch. I removed it with Windows uninstall, downloaded and re-installed. Again, it would not launch. Removed again using Adobe clean tool, appeared to have two copies on machine. re-installed, still have same problem.
uninstall all cc desktop apps.
again run the cleaner, Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
install the desktop app, Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe CC trial -
Installation fails via Creative Cloud App manager on windows 8 - can't find log

I click on "Learn More"
and get a window that tells me the following

"More information" is a link/button but clicking it does nothing.

Creative Cloud app gets stuck on spinning wheel on Windows 8.1
Ok DL the cloud app it never gets to the log in. I used the information like
From the same gear icon in Creative Cloud, choose to Quit Creative Cloud.
Rename the OPM.db file that is located in the OOBE folder located here:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Windows XP: \Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe
Windows 7: \AppData\Local\Adobe
Change the name to OPM.db.old
Relaunch Adobe Creative Cloud.
Sign back in to your Adobe ID.
Then locate the OPM.db file successfully? If so then please also try removing the contents of the OOBE folder which contained the OPM.db file.

Creative Cloud app not working on windows 8.1
I have looked around on the forums and seen similar problems but the app itself won't load up, it just has a small window. I can't interactive with this in anyway apart from move it about and have to kill it via task manager.
If I need to update it how do I do this when I can't acces it?

Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app?
We have this document that is related, normally you should be prompted to update after quitting and relaunching the app.

Quit Creative Cloud application .
End Adobe related tasks like Creative Cloud , CoreSync, AAMUpdater...etc from Task Manager.
1) Right click on Finder icon and select "Go-To" Folder option.
2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.( Do not miss ~ symbol)
~/library
3)Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe>OOBE. Open OOBE folder and delete opm file.
Once you had deleted opm.db file.
Disable Anti-Virus and Firewall temporarily .
Then launch Creative Cloud app and check. -
Creative cloud app, updating cc products windows 8.1
Hi, i recently upgraded to windows 8.1and reinstalled my adobe cc products, however i have noted that everytime i update using the creative cloud app nothing happens, it detects some of my products needs updating and when i click update and it verifies that all of my adobe apps are up to date, and i open up lets say photoshop, when i click around to see the new features, none of them are present..... The update had no effect, and when i check the product version of Photoshop, it says version 14.0 instead of 14.1....what's going on?....and creative cloud app says im up to date.

When I start downloading apps on creative cloud with windows 7 professional 64 bit, Creative cloud blanks out and stays blank til I re-start the program. I have tried re-installing it and deleting the OMP file. What do I have to do to be able to install apps?
