I quote from Adobe's employee Preran: The chat button is activated as soon as there is an agent available to help.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud Apps "Download Error"

I wonder if anyone can help?
I recently migrated my iMac, which had Creative Cloud setup all fine, to a new iMac. Both run OSX Mavericks.
The new one was having initial problems opening any creative cloud apps that had been migrated over, including CC Manager itself.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but no change. I resorted to manually binning all Adobe files and starting again.
This appeared to initially work and I downloaded CC manager, got that running without errors and also downloaded Photoshop without a problem.
However, there was a Photoshop 'Update' available almost immediately which I downloaded and since doing this, I now get an error on the CC Manager's 'Apps' tab.
I have tried the 'Reload Applications' button but that has no effect.
My Photoshop still appears to be working fine but I yet need to download Indesign and Flash and others from CC Manager.
    Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Did you run the cleaner after uninstalling and before reinstalling?

  • Windows 7 reinstall and Creative Cloud app downloads

I recent had a custom computer built for Photoshop and Premiere Pro.  I purchased Creative Cloud and had downloaded Photoshop CS6, Lightroom 4, Premiere Pro CS6 and AfterEffects.  Over this weekend, Windows 7 Professional began to fail and now it has to be reinstalled on the Boot Drive - erasing all programs already on that drive, including the four Creative Cloud apps I downloaded.
My question is:  When the new Windows reinstall reformats the C: Drive and wipes it clean, can I re-download the Creative Cloud apps to the same computer without it registering as another download destination?  Creative Cloud lets be put the apps on two computers, but this will be the same as the original.  How do I get it to register so that I don't use up the second destination?

    Hi Rcheek6,
Yeah, that should work okay. If for some reason you attempt to activate on too many computers it gives you an option to "De-activate All". That may not even be required here.
    Hope that helps,
    -Dave

  • Creative cloud app downloading.. continues to say waiting and will not continue downloading

using a mac pro computer. I am unable to download apps

If you are getting waiting status after 42%  , follow below steps.
Do not Quit Creative Cloud application when it is showing the progress status as " Waiting"  . Because if we close , the installer file will disappear from Tmp temporary storage.
    1) Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option.
    2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.
    /Tmp
It will open Tmp folder with list of sub folders inside .
Search for Illustrator/ In Deisgn .dmg file . and then copy it to Desktop.
Once you had copied .dmg file to Desktop.
Launch Activity Monitor and "Force Quit" all the process related to Adobe like Creative Cloud, CoreSync, AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon , Setup , Install....etc from Activity monitor.
Then double click on Illustrator/ InDeisgn .dmg file and try to install .

  • Creative Cloud App Downloads-Trial only?

Perhaps I missed this somewhere in the vast vault of Adobe information once one becomes a member and initiates a team for cooperative creativity. When heading into the cloud, all of the major applications are "Trial" versions only... I was under the impression that once become a member of the Creative Cloud, paid the first month's installment, that access would be for complete, non-trial applications. Or, does Adobe, at the close of the 30-day trial period, realize one is a member and converts the applications to full-time, non-trial programs? Guess my head has been "in the clouds" for too long, anyway... anyone have any info on this particular problem? Thank you.

    Hi Mudgeon,
In Creative cloud for teams you will have to login to the www.creative.adobe.com as the administrator go to 'Team management'
You will see the option to send the invitation to the users who want to use the subscription.
You can send the invitation to the person by adding his email ---> that person will receive an invitation email ---> After accepting the invitation email he will be able to use the full version products.
    Thanks
    Kapil

  • Adobe Creative Cloud app, Mac OSX, "The Creative Cloud installation is no longer functioning..."

    OS: 10.9.4
For about 2+ weeks I've been getting the following message in the Creative Cloud App:
    Download Error
The Creative Cloud installation is no longer working
uninstall and download again from http...
I've searched through various discussions and followed every suggestion I had come across, including:
    Uninstalled/reinstalled Creative Cloud
Renamed files in the following directories:
    ~/Library/Applications support/Adobe/OOBE
    /Library/Applications support/Adobe/OOBE
    ~/Library/Applications support/Adobe/AAMUpdater
    /Library/Applications support/Adobe/AAMUpdater
    Deleted files in above-listed directories.
Checked all network settings including proxy, DNS, etc.
Logged in as myself, I launched Creative Cloud as root (sudo /path/to/app)
Between each step I uninstalled/reinstalled the Creative Cloud app. The logs (in ~/Library/Logs/) don't show any major issues, other than claiming that a preference file can't be read. I tried deleting all preferences related to ACC and the log continued to show the same message.
Any suggestions outside of the standard list of fixes would be most welcome, at this point I'm ready to cancel my CC subscription, I feel Adobe made a big mistake by changing to this format. When it works, it's great, but when it doesn't it causes loss of productivity and immense frustration.

Tried this with no success. Although, your mention of permissions led me to launching Disk Utility and repairing permissions. I then noticed my hard drive had a failing S.M.A.R.T. status. I swapped out the hard drive and restored from Time Machine backup, repaired permissions, uninstalled Creative Cloud, repaired permissions again and removed all files mentioned in my original post. I then reinstalled and: still get the same dang error! This is ridiculously frustrating.

  • Downloading the Adobe Creative Cloud app opens Adobe Product Manager but never updates it

I've tried seveal times to download the Adobe Creative Cloud app but each time it opens Adobe Product Manager and then never updates APM to the Creative Cloud app nor does it give me any options to install the CC app.  Note: I've used adobe cleaner to clean my manager and did a fresh install of the latest Adobe Product Manager.  This allowed me to at least see all of the other CC programs and install several of them.  Its my understanding that APM is suppose to update itself to the CC app but it never does.  I'd really like to have the CC app to interact with the cloud as is intended.  plz advise and help.

Nickpl the forums are fairly active right now.  You may want to take a look at the topics listed under the annoucements and within the FAQ Creative Cloud Download and Install forum - http://forums.adobe.com/community/download_install_setup/creative_cloud_faq while you wait.  We are updating these areas with any new issues or solutions which are being discovered.

  • How do I re-download Acrobat pro XI when Creative Cloud app thinks it's still installed?

I've been having no end of grief with Creative Cloud on my late 2009 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac, running OS X 10.9.2. It slows my finder redraw down so that sometimes it takes 5 minutes to display the contents of a folder in the finder.
So a couple of months ago I removed the Creative Cloud app from my machine, and things started running smoothly again except I was unable to update the rest of my CC apps.
Needing to update the Camera Raw plugin for Photoshop CC, I reluctantly reinstalled the Creative Cloud app, which refused to recognise that I had a bunch of Adobe apps installed (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Bridge) ... all except Lightroom, which it recognised. So I uninstalled all my apps and re-downloaded them through Creative Cloud so CC would 'see' that I had the apps. Not so easy with Acrobat XI: I had problems opening it so I went through the 'Uninstal Acrobat XI' app in the Acrobat folder, and now Creative Cloud thinks it's still installed and therefore I can't download a fresh copy.
Should I go through the rigmarole of uninstalling Creative Cloud again and run the risk of it losing track of all my other apps once again, or is there another way to work around this? Every time I try to download from the Adobe site it launches Creative Cloud...
Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me please.

With the help of Adobe support, I signed out of Creative Cloud and signed back in. Although I'd done this yesterday with no result, it worked this time and I'm currently reinstalling Acrobat.

  • Problems with Downloading Creative Cloud, Apps

When I initially downloaded the Creative Cloud app itself, the download was incredibly slow.
When I finally did get it installed, I kept running into more problems. When I first open the Creative Cloud app, it takes so long I have to go and do other work before I can come back and see that the Home tab has information in it other than being blank.  When I click on the blue Install Adobe Apps button, I get "Download Error" screens, sometimes with a wait with a spinning wheel first.
I've already tried renaming the opm.db file, but that didn't help.
I also checked, and the Behance tab is loading just fine.

Tklem are you on a managed network?  If not then I would recommend reviewing Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CC, CS6, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud App does not show downloaded apps and shows "download error"

I am not a full paying member just yet, and have been using Photoshop on trial for my graphic design courses. With the app, instead of showing me that my 30 day trial is over, I get a download error and contact customer support message. I have completely deleted and redownloaded the Creative Cloud App twice already, but am not sure how to fix this problem so I am still unable to download my free trials before purchase.
How can I fix this problem?
