Creative Cloud Apps Won't Download

Hi everybody,
I'm on OS X Lion and purchased a year long Creative Cloud subscription.  So, I downloaded the app installer, and installed Photoshop and Acrobat X-- it worked.  However, whenever I try to download any other applications, such as Flash for example, the download bar will go until it is almost finished, but will just stay there (I left it going overnight-- didn't help).  Does anybody know what to do?

If you sign out can you see the Apps page https://creative.adobe.com/apps?
After signing in to the Apps page, open the console. Then refresh the page and capture the console output. Here is how to get the console in the various browsers:
Chrome: Click on the wrench icon in the top right. From the context menu choose Tools > Developer Tools. Choose the Console tab.
Safari: First you may need to add the Developer option to your menu. From the application menu choose Safari > Preferences. Choose the Advanced tab. Check the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar". From the application menu choose Developer > Show Error Console.
Firefox: From the application menu choose Tools > Web Developer > Web Console.
IE9: From the application menu choose Tools > Developer Tools. Choose the Console tab.

  • My Creative Cloud App won't launch

My Creative Cloud App won't launch I'm seeing other posts of the same problem that are unanswered. Is there an issue with cloud today?

I'm having a similar problem. CC is greyed out and has no content when selected, meaning I have no access to my type kit font library. I've uninstalled CC and reinstalled CC. I've followed another course of action which is to trash the opm.db file (username > Library > Application Support > Adobe > OOBE > opm.db) which was advised from another forum, followed by a reinstall again. No joy... any help would be much appreciated

    jonesology,
Could you send us your log files so that we can investigate further? Please zip up the entire 'CoreSync' folder at the location below and send it to me at [email protected]
    Mac:
    /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync
    Windows:
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync
'Library' on Mac and 'AppData' on Windows are both hidden folders. Please read these pages for help on showing these folders:

  • Creative cloud - app - Errore di download

Anche con diversi utenti, Creative Cloud in "app" dà sempre "Errore di download"

    ecco la soluzione:
Are you getting download error on Creative Cloud "Apps" tab.
    Then try below steps once.
click Gear icon on the top Right corner and Quit Creative Cloud App
Click on Finder and then hold Command + Shift + G keys on your keypad
It will open Go to folder window, type  exactly ~/Library and click on Go  ( make sure to open ~/Library not /Library. There will be two Library folders )
Then open Application Support > Adobe folders
    Trash AAMUpdater and OOBE folders.
Then relaunch Creative Cloud App and check.

  • Creative Cloud app won't stay signed in. Windows 8.1.

I have researched this over and over. It seems like a lot of people have this problem, but never any official answer. No solution.
I log into the Creative Cloud app. About 5 minutes later, sometimes 10 or 15 if I'm lucky, I get signed out. I've signed in about 4 times today so far.  Rinse and Repeat. All day long. Every day.
Oh well, gotta go. Time to sign back into Creative Cloud again.
My question is this: Is there a way to keep this thing logged in for more than 5 minutes at a time?

  • Creative Cloud App Won't Install CC Apps or Update CS6 Apps

I have the CS6 Master Collection installed on my Mac. I just updated to the new OS X Mavericks 10.9 hoping that might solve the problem, but the Creative Cloud app still is NOT working.
The app tells me I have updates, and gives me the option to add the CC apps for the Creative Suite, but gets to maybe 42% and then gives a general error.
The pop up window error says:
    Installation failed.
    Errors encountered during installation (7).
And when you click on More Information, all you get is this:
    Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR:
    -------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------
    - 0 fatal error(s), 0 error(s)
    which tells me nothing.
I am not able to do anything with Creative Cloud, except to update the Creative Cloud app itself every few days. The CC desktop app (which runs from my top menu bar) is up to date, but still doesn't work.
How do I get the app to work and update my CS6 apps and install the CC collection?
    Thank you!

"Exit Code :7" is not what you need to look up. See the screenshot below for my error code.
I looked up "Error: DF024" and below is the link and a screenshot of what it said on the Creative Cloud help page.
Error DF024 installing Creative Cloud products | Mac
I changed the name of my "Recommended" folder to "Recommended_backup". I then reinstalled and got the same error. I reread the code and realized that the path for my error is slightly different than what is listed on the Creative Cloud Help page. Instead of a path of "Library/Colorsync/Profiles/Recommended", mine actually read "Library/Colorsync/Profiles/Profiles". This time I went into the folder and changed the name of of the "profiles" folder to "profiles_back-up" and it worked!!!!!!
Below is what my folder looks like after a successful install of Illustrator CC. The 2 folders highlighted in yellow are the folders that I renamed and the 2 green highlighted folders appeared after installation.

  • Creative Cloud App breaks Adobe Download Manager, doesn't install apps, now I'm unable open apps

This has been the worst cloud app experience I've ever seen.
First of all the CC app overwrites the Adobe Download Manager to the point where you'll never be able to go back to it again.
I would normally be OK with this, but the CC app doesn't work and closes itself instantly, rendering it completely useless and unable to install any of the CC apps.
After an hour and 20 minutes between being on hold, and speaking with support, I have no solution.
I'm now at a point where I have no apps installed, and I can't install any new apps because the CC app doesn't work, and the Download Manager will either a) error if CC app isn't installed, or b) open the CC app if it is installed (which doesn't work, and instantly closes).
    Overall, it's a disaster

    Hey Jason,
I'm wonder if it might help to start fresh,
    Uninstall any Creative Cloud programs
Control Panel > Programs & Features (Windows 7)
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs (XP)
Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers (Mac OS X)
Run the cleaner tool to ensure everything is removed
    http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
Reinstall the Creative Cloud desktop app from https://creative.adobe.com/products
    Reinstall applications
It will be a lot of work but it will probably fix it.

  • Creative Clouds App won't work!

Everything else works for me except the app when it says "download error" and then choose "get help" or "try again" which I have printed about 1000 times. I can not update my adobe programs which I have to do. There is no help available in Swedish and I'll get help from someone in the chat, I still have everything installed in English in order to be able to go into my computer and see what's wrong. Is there anyone who can help me?

  • Creative Cloud - Dreamweaver won't download!

I click on the "More Information" link and it says "Error Code: 6". I work for an auction company and my desktop died, so I switched to another computer that didn't have Dreamweaver on it. The OS is Windows 7. I logged in to Adobe just fine, downloaded the Creative Cloud just fine; it's just Dreamweaver that I need. Any suggestions? I've never used the cloud before...

  • Literally Just installed the Creative Cloud app...downloaded one app, Photoshop,...

but now when opening the CC app there's an error that says "Download Error" Press Retry.." etc... no apps load for me to download now.  I uninstalled the CC app and re-downloaded/re-installed that but nope. Also threw away the oodb file as suggested on the site but nope.
I had a good online chat with someone and was really happy with the prospect but now the trial is failing after about the first 15 minutes?
    Latest OSX

    Hi Jeff-
I (CanonBoy) visited that page and tried it all. Totally wiped all Adobe files whether invisible or not. Ran the cleaner, disabled all virus, tried both ethernet and wireless with no luck. The mac I have is barely two weeks old; our internet connection even newer. Though the GlobalSign Root CA cert doesn't show in my Keychain access, all the tests pass. I even tried to download the cert but was given a message essentially "you already trust the GlobalSign Root CA" so I'm guessing the steps shown on that page you linked to was for older OSX versions. Screenshot of the basic problem:
The only thing I haven't done is try it on my wifes Win8 laptop....which wouldn't be ideal anyway. I wondered if there was a permissions problem as a co-worker pointed out that a file should just be replaced normally rather than having to remove it first so that omb.db or whatever that's called perhaps was the start of the problem.
I was going to cancel my trial thinking maybe there is some remote issue and start again from that point, but then I get "Contact customer service to cancel" so I'm not going through creating a new Adobe ID with a different email and such. It's too bad. I've used Illlustrator since it was Illustrator 88 and all the others as they came on the scene since 1991 but this new method of delivery seems to janky where it really should be rock solid if they're going to save on production of actual dvds, packaging materials, transportation of the goods etc.
    Thanks for the link-
    Kelly

  • "We are experiencing problems" - money paid, Creative Cloud app cannot be downloaded to use Photoshop. I want to cancel my membership.

I just have signed a contract @ $9.99 a month for Photoshop CC
and Lightroom. Adobe website did not let me download anything,
citing "We are experiencing problems, try again later". Needless to
say, I tried to find a way to retrieve the contract I just have signed,
and, of course, had no success. The whole thing became a big pain.
What I want now is this: cancel the contract and forget the name
"Adobe" for the rest of my life. This is not a way to treat (cheat)
    customers.

  • Creative Cloud Apps won't open

I have recently gotten my CC membership and got all of the programs. I am having trouble opening Premiere Pro CC (2014) and After Effects CC (2014). But I have another After Effects (from the CC trial) that opens which doesn't have (2014) in the name. Any of the programs with (2014) in their name, I can't open. I get the error, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)."  I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

Claym67333945 if you are able to locate any installation errors then please feel free to update this discussion.  If you are facing errors when opening the applications then I would recommend posting to the forums related to that application.  The community in those forums are getting to better be able to assist you with troubleshooting specific to the application.

  • Problems with Downloading Creative Cloud, Apps

When I initially downloaded the Creative Cloud app itself, the download was incredibly slow.
When I finally did get it installed, I kept running into more problems. When I first open the Creative Cloud app, it takes so long I have to go and do other work before I can come back and see that the Home tab has information in it other than being blank.  When I click on the blue Install Adobe Apps button, I get "Download Error" screens, sometimes with a wait with a spinning wheel first.
I've already tried renaming the opm.db file, but that didn't help.
I also checked, and the Behance tab is loading just fine.

Tklem are you on a managed network?  If not then I would recommend reviewing Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CC, CS6, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html.
