Creative Cloud Desktop displays only empty box
CC Desktop shows only empty box. Mousing over it does NOT bring up any display. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app without success. Running Windows 7 64 bit, NVIDIA GeForce GTX470 driver version 335.23. Any ideas?

Creative Cloud desktop app totally empty - not even Preferences...?
I have from before Production Premium CS6 and Lightroom 4 installed on my computer (Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB RAM).
I joined then CC Photography Package and after login to my account I went to the DL section to download one of the programs and install it. The Creative cloud desktop app is installed, but it is empty. Not only is there neither a Photoshop CC nor a Lightroom 5 there, there's no menu and if I try to determine the app version as in http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-missing-text.html - there's not even a Preferences to select...
I get no error message, and going to the Download center and trying to download Photosgop or Lightroom just gets me a blink of "waiting for creative.adobe.com..." and then focus is changed to the empty Creative Cloud desktop app.
Checking my account I can see that both my product licences for CS6/LR4 are there, as is my CC Photography package.
I can add that I have restarted the system, reinstalled the Creative Cloud app and tried other things I can think of. But I still only get an empty Creative Cloud app, without a possibility to login to my Adobe account.Here's from the PDApp.log:

The only reason I updated to Yosemite was to be able to get the new CC LR app. Well, now I don't even have CC anymore. What should I do?

Creative Cloud Desktop keeps empty
Hello,
after several test the Creative Cloud Desktop app keep empty. (Picture below)
I' am using W7 Pro 64-bit
I´have tried updating Air and Flashplayer to latest edition (same result)
Tried the installation as Administrator (same result)
Deactivated the antivirus and Firewall (same result)

Creative cloud desktop opens but does nothing remains empty
When i tried to use creative cloud desktop it opens and the icon remains in grey the config menu is log out, open in new window, help
thats all it does after opening a loading gif appears for several seconds and then disapears but nothing happens remains empty
i have tried the obvious uninstall - install usign the adobe uninstallers and got the removal successfull, downloaded the latest version

Welcome to the forums!
Please rename OOBE Folder from the following location
Mac OS X : Macintosh HD>Library>Applciation support>Adobe>OOBE
After renaming the OOBE folder please uninstall Adobe creative cloud from the cleaner tool and re-installed the product from from www.creative.adobe.com/apps
PS: Please uninstall Creative cloud connection if you see in Cleaner tool.

My Creative Cloud desktop app's HOME tab does not display info
I'm running a Mac Pro tower with OS v10.8.5 and using Chrome. The desktop app displays no data and the circular activity arrow keeps spinning and doesn't stop. My internet connection is fine and the app was working a week ago. The cery same app on my PC machine works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Apps tab of Creative Cloud desktop helper constantly displays "Download error. press retry or contact customer support". As well as reloading, I've also quit CC desktop helper, restarted computer, checked network settings, relogged in. Cannot download any new apps or updates. please help.

Creative Cloud desktop greyed out and empty - no access
After migrating from my iMac to an MacBook Pro I am unable to open creative cloud and any applications.
I have done a uninstall and followed all the suggestions in the forums however my Creative Cloud desktop Icon is greyed out and is an empty screen when I open it with no option to log in.
I can't access any of the apps that I am paying for. Your help and advice would be appreciated asapOk of course I find the answer two seconds after I post a reply..!
I found out that the Application Manager still had some leftover files in the "Utilities" folder. I deleted the folder and reinstalled Creative Cloud.. did a deleted of the oobe.db file also, but not sure that's what did it, since I've done that solution a thousand times with no success..
Looking forward to seeing my beloved applications once again! -
Creative Cloud Desktop won't run on Windows Only Updates Itslef
I'm trying to use the Creative Cloud Desktop tool on Windows 7 Professional.
I start it from the Start menu, it opens and says it requires an update to itself,
the only other option is Cancel so I to run the update,
it runs, then closes,
I open it again and again it says it requires an update to itself,

I open it again and again and again, it says it requires an update to itself.
It never runs, it just asks for updates,
how do you get it to run on Windows?
The MAC version at home is running fine.

CC apps only have try button in Creative Cloud desktop app
I received a free 1 year membership because i attended the Adobe Max Conference. I activated the membership in May 2013 and when I go to my profile at adobe.com it says the creative cloud membership is active until May 2014.
I updated my Creative Cloud desktop app yesterday to download the CC apps and did not have any problems or get any errors. All my CS6 programs are listed in the app along with the CC programs but the CC programs have a try button, not install button. Do I need to re-enter my creative cloud activation code again somewhere else so the programs I download are not trial versions.

I have a macbook pro 2010 & extra storage and drive space
I don't know what the link is between the new creative cloud update in january and the loss of my apps & downloading error after that update, to the desktop window?
Before that I hadn't had any trouble with the apps window..all the other parts are syncing and seem fine?
I uninstalled & reinstalled the creative cloud desktop
I installed the yosemite os x to see if the new interface was an issue...all was fine with the yosemite install
I have checked for the answer in the troubleshooting guide
nothing seems to apply at this point...
didn't know if anyone else was having the same difficulty?

Creative Cloud desktop application does not load properly under Windows 8.1
I'm having a very strange problem with the CC tool too.
When I open it I just see an empty box with a smaller dialog inside it showing the icon. It won't close and I can't interact with any of the windows. The only way to get rid of it is to kill it via task manager. I've tried the "rename opm.db file" hack and this makes the CC app ask for my Adobe credentials as though its going to work, but then ends up showing the same thing. I've attached a screengrab of what's happening. Windows 8.1 FWIW.Branching this to a new discussion.
