Creative Cloud discout qualification

I own a purchased license of Adobe CS3 Master Collection.
I entered the serial number when trying to apply for 40% off membership, but the site said "Sorry, you don't qualify for this promotional offer. Please visit our plans page to browse our list of other offerings"
Why don't I qualify for 40% off creative cloud 1st year membership?

We can't know. You will have to contact sales support directly by phone or web chat to find out. Perhaps your serial was used for another promotion or you have a conflict because you bought a different region/ language version or whatever...

  • I'M FED UP WITH NO BEING ABLE TO ACCESS MY ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD SOFTWARE.

I subscribed to 1 year with Adobe Creative Cloud more than a year ago. I got a discounted price of $29.99 per month instead of the normal $49.99 per month, because I qualified being that I had previously purchased and installed Adobe Creative Design Suite 4. I thought it a great idea to have all the software that the Adobe Cloud offered. A few months into that yearly subscription, I had been using Adobe Muse which was wonderful because I could actually create websites without knowing a bit of code. Yes, I was designing one site and had major difficulty and failed to publish many times. No fear, because a very king gentleman on Adobe Support named Zak did all his best and gave a great amount of attention to resolving this problem. While building that website my client lost patience with me in that I could not publish what the client wanted within reasonable time period because of all these failures in publishing and time in between each staggered resolve periods. I lost that client and ended up with a live website with a great deal of my artwork collected and established there. I decided to keep that website active if nothing more than to present it as a portfolio of sorts. Apparently, Zak, understood my disappointment with losing this client and actually provided me with a years, 12 months subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. This was wonderful for me and I accepted it graciously. So a year’s subscription proceeded month by month. Unfortunately every month I was subject to having to reaffirm the license for this yearly subscription! I began what ended up to be having to contact support each month for assistance in doing so. For without reactivating this yearly license each month I was subject to interruptions in accessing the software's usage or unable to use it at all. Major frustration...So come the nearing end of this Adobe Creative Cloud's subscription I contacted Adobe Support to voice my complaints on having to do this every month and once again get the subscription activated in order to use my software. This one support technician was giving me a difficult time for some reason and broke our telephone conversation many times as it was necessary for him to update himself with my file??? He came back to me astonished to find 12 months credit and asked me where did I acquire these freebies and on and on. He wanted proof that I had gotten these credits legally even though I reiterated the true story of benefiting from Zak's kindness. He wanted me to provide proof of the letter giving me all these credits and I told him I could and would. But he wanted to keep me on the phone for any duration until I could search my documents and find this letter and show it to him. I told him that I did not have time to search for it that moment and I could provide it later? He was really reluctant to allow this but eventually he requested I post this letter as proof onto my support ticket? Which I got around to do soon after. When posting that proof I asked to be given extra time on the subscription for being so to suspected of fraud? I asked for the hell of it a year or 2 more for Christ's sake? You know what, my support post has yet to be answered and actually I see that it was dismissed to no fault of mine. You haven't heard the most of what I went thru every month with this year’s subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. Yes, I'm pissed because now they are wanting me to spend $49.99 every month for another year’s subscription? Besides now the Creative Design Suite 4 that I had originally purchased as a full legal copy and acted to provide me with the original $29.99 discount qualification, they say is an OEM copy and does not qualify for the discount... What! Give me a break Adobe? I do not like being treated this way and must state the story as true, which it is, here in this forum. Thanks for listening. Sincerely, John Williams
As of today, Sunday, November 3rd, 2013, I'm still blocked from accessing my ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD SOFTWARE! I have submitted screenshots and whatever else to Adobe Support and have had no contact. I get a message that states it cannot go online to renew, confirm, update my subscription and therefore I can't access my software. Do you know how long this has been goping on now and how many times i've been interrupted from using this software over the last year?????

Most of us in this forum are users who volunteer on technical issues, and not Adobe employees although they do drop in from time to time. As users we simply have no control over activation and that's why you are not getting responses.
If you havn't done so,you might try the Muse forums and see if you can get a staff member to look into it. Have your case numbers and phone transcripts handy.
Last option is to keep calling customer service until you get someone who will help or ask for a supervisor.
    Hope this get resolved,
    Gene

  • How can I downgrade my full creative cloud subscription to the photographer version

Just heard that there's going to be a cc version for photographers available starting 9/16 for only $9.99.  How can I downgrade from my full sub which costs 49.99 per month?

    Hi jason epstein,
Customers who have already joined a Creative Cloud Single App membership for Photoshop at the £7.14/month level (or corresponding local pricing matching the pricing provided in the question above) will be automatically transitioned to this new program when it ships in a few weeks, with the additional benefits and lower ongoing price. All other Creative Cloud members who meet the qualification requirements may contact Adobe Customer Service once the new offer is shipping in a few weeks, to discuss transitioning their membership to this new offer.
Please refer the kb: http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/creativecloud/faq.html for more information.

  • Creative Cloud downgrade to CS x.x  Upgrade Path still available?

    If I:
           A) join Creative Cloud
           B) using my CS5.5 license to get the first year at the discount price.
           C) and later decide to discontinue Creative Cloud
    Then, my questions:
Will my CS5.5 license continue to allow upgrades later versions of CS at the upgrade price offered to the CS5.5 licencees who never joined Creative Cloud?
Or, does joining Creative Cloud remove me from future upgrade prices?
    JF

Joining the Cloud has no effect on your eligibility for perpetual license upgrades.
You don't surrender or compromise your CS5.5 license when you join the Cloud. You can upgrade to the CS6 perpetual license version at any time - until CS7 ships.
There's simply a special offer for 12 months for existing perpetual license customers to entice you to join (sample) the Cloud at a discount rate. A 12 month Trial, if you will.
Be aware though that with CS6 Adobe introduced a new "one version back" policy for upgrades.
    http://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2011/11/adobe-creative-cloud-and-adobe-creative-suite -new-choices-for-customers.html
So your CS5.5 license only qualifies you to upgrade to CS6 at upgrade prices.
When CS7 is released, you will need a CS6 perpetual license in order to qualify for CS7 upgrade pricing.
If you skip the CS6 perpetual licensed upgrade (and stay in the Cloud), you'll pay full price for CS7 (or whichever version you choose to upgrade to next).
When you then leave the Cloud at a later date on, say, CS8, you're back to CS5.5 - since that's the last perpetually licensed version which you own forever.
    Looking into the crystal ball:
To my mind, the message from Adobe is that the Cloud is the way of the future.
The future of perpetual license versions (and associated upgrades) is less clear. I speculate that they'll disappear soon for a variety for fairly obvious reasons. Just my opinion. There's nothing official on that.

  • Creating an app with InDesign (and Creative Cloud)

    Help needed!
I have InDesign (through Creative Cloud) and want to create an app (i am also apart of the Apple Developer Program through our company). I have watched the informative video that takes us through all the steps ("InDesign Layout to iPad App"), but when i go to 'Folio Builder' there isn't a tab called 'Create App'). I dont know what i am missing, has this button changed to something else or has the process changed? I have been going through everything and i cant find the answer.
I have zero qualifications in creating apps (this first one is a muck-around to try out a few things i have learnt from watching videos and reading), but it was seeming quite easy through InDesign, before i got to this last step.
    THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Creating an app with InDesign requires downloading and learning the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. The DPS forum is best place to learn what you'll need to do so I'm moving your question there.

  • Can I purchase Creative Cloud subscriptions for longer than one year at a time?

I work in the design department of a large business, currently using Creative Suite 6 (Design Standard edition, which includes PS and AI).
I'd like to get the some of the new CC features, but my manager won't commit to a turnkey month-to-month or even annual rental of Creative Cloud apps (it's a pain for our department's purchaser to have to do orders more than once a year). That said, if they could take care of, say, two years at once, I might get the software. Is this an option? I'm one of only a few folks who use Adobe software (it's not a design business; we're just part of a small design department, and all software purchases need to go through this person, after which they're reimbursed). I'm not interested in any of the extra storage or central administration options that come with the higher priced business subscription.
    Thanks!

    http://www.adobe.com/au/products/creativecloud/faq.html
Are there any unique benefits that come with my paid membership?
Yes, as a member of Creative Cloud, you get many benefits that you do not get when you purchase a traditional shrinkwrapped product:
Access to both the Mac OS and Windows® versions of the desktop applications and the ability to install them on your primary computer and one backup computer. So, if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, you can install your applications on both as long as they are not running at the same time. See the product license agreements page for more information.

  • How can multiple users use the same Creative Cloud Individual on one single-machine?

We have one shared graphics workstation, which is infrequently in use by different people - therefore we bought a single-workstation license (which we were referred to "Creative Cloud Individual"). In the FAQs it says it installs locally, but whenever a user different from the installing adminstrator logs in, he is forced to use the trial.
Is there a way to make the local installation usable on that single machine for multiple users?
Thanks in advance for your reply

Serenatasystems do the other users not have administrator access?  What happens if they sign in using the Adobe ID tied to your Creative Cloud subscription?  Do your Adobe Creative applications then exit trial mode?

  • AAMEE 3.1 for Creative Cloud?

Has it been confirmed that the AAMEE 3.1 build will work with Creative Cloud for Teams or even the Desktop app? Adobe's documentation doesn't state anything about Creative Cloud; only about CS6.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jules,
Sorry to hear about your difficulties.
    My recommendation would be
    - Uninstall PS via Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers (Mac OS X)
    - Create a new user with Admin rights, log out of your current account and into the newly created one
    10.7 http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4600
    10.8 http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11468
    - Reinstall Photoshop CS6 via Adobe Application Manager
    - Try to update to 13.1 using Help > Updates in Photoshop CS6

  • App-V 5 SP1 Creative Cloud Enterprise Illustrator 213:19 Error

Hello, I'm currently working on creating an App-V 5 sequence for Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise. Firstly I'm trying to create a sequence for CC Illustrator, however I'm running into what appear to be licensing errors.
From what I understand in Adobe Create Cloud Enterprise, the licensing restrictions which tie the license to the machine have now been removed so that packages can be created with serial numbers included for deployment and imaging purposes.
I've created a package for Illustrator using the Creative Cloud Packager and included the serial number and then sequenced this in App-V 5.
When I deploy this app-v sequence, Illustrator loads but I end up with a 213:19 error. Looking in the amt3.log the full error is
    09/24/13 16:58:35:478 | [ERROR] |  |  |  | SLCoreService |  |  | 5624 | error deleting bad mkey:

I've also tried creating a package using a trial licence and then using the adobe_prtk.exe tool to serialize the product at launch with no success.
I've read the support statemnt at http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/technical-support-boundaries-virtualized-or.html, but would appreciate direction from adobe as to what would be causing the above error.

    Hello, thanks for the reply.
I have read those articles (multiple times :-)) I've installed the required c++ redistributables on the sequencer and also on the test machines.
I'm not getting any errors being reported in the App-V eventlogs.
I initially used the adobe_prtk.exe tool to serialize the app-v application at launch via startprocess in the userconfig file as shown. This runs but it doesn't work around this issue.
    <UserScripts>
          <StartProcess  RunInVirtualEnvironment="true">
            <Path>[{AppVPackageRoot}]\..\Scripts\adobe_prtk.exe</Path>
            <Arguments>--tool=VolumeSerialize --provfile=[{AppVPackageRoot}]\..\Scripts\prov.xml</Arguments>
            <Wait RollbackOnError="true"/>
     <ApplicationId>[{AppVPackageRoot}]\Support Files\Contents\Windows\Illustrator.exe</ApplicationId>
          </StartProcess>
        </UserScripts>
Following that I read that AAMEE 3.1 removed the (http://blogs.adobe.com/oobe/2012/09/aamee-3-1or-why-puffer-fish-is-a-delicacy.html) machine to license issue
therefore allowing packages to be created using serial numbers and to be included within build images.
As I'm packaging Creative Cloud (not CS6), I'm assuming this has been carried into the Creative Cloud Packager for Enterprise which now must be used.
    Any other ideas appreciated.

  • Problems with Adobe creative cloud offline packages ( Windows )

    Hi
When I try to install packages that are created with Adobe Creative Cloud Packager for Enterprise they start installing and then they roll-back in the middle of the process without returning any error.
Not really sure what can cause this as there are not many options to select from when creating the package itself...
    Any ideas anyone?
    thanks

  • Generate prov.xml for Creative Cloud. Return Code 27

We're trying to follow this guide (Creative Cloud Help | Using Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition) to serialize a package (or something). We're stuck on generating prov.xml. My best attempt at an entry is:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\CCP\utilities\APTEE>adobe_prtk.exe --tool=VolumeSerialize --generate --serial=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx --regsuppress=ss --eulasuppress --locales=en_US --provfilepath=C:\Program Fil
    es (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\CCP
It says half of this is optional, but I'm skeptical.
Anyway, I'm getting return code 27. This indicates that it is unable to edit the prov.xml file specified. I didn't specify a prov.xml file, I'm trying to make one. The syntax I'm using differs from what I found on the page I linked, as that was giving me syntax errors. I lifted this off someone else's code. I've tried just about every variation I can think of. Any help would be appreciated.
    This is on Windows

  • Failure to install Creative Cloud Master for Windows

    Hi all,
I am using an Enterprise Creative Cloud and have packaged the Adobe CC Master for Windows.
I have followed the rules of installation by installing Acrobat XI first.
Upon installation of Acrobat, I proceeded to install Creative Cloud by going to the Build folder and install the Setup.exe by running as an Administrator. I have also disabled my anti-virus scanner as well. It starts to scan my harddisk and there is a progress bar that displays. Mid-way down the installation process, it just stops installing and it immediately uninstalls by displaying the progress-bar back to the start.
Why is this so? I understandthat by having an Entreprise account does not need you to go by the normal way of going to the Creative Cloud Manager to download and have a password to type in right?
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks!

    Hi Romit Sinha,
    Thanks for your prompt response.
For some strange reasons, after I restarted my computer, disabled my anti-virus again and run the setup.exe using the administrator rights, it manages to install the CC apps within the build folder.
However, may I know how do I install both Edge Reflow and Edge Code? As I am using an enterprise edition, I don't see these 2 products within the Build or Exclusions folder. Must I log in to the Creative Cloud (using my Adobe ID and password) to download them?
If I log-in using my adobe account, will Adobe start charging me which will be ludicrous as I already have an enterprise edition.
    What gives?
    Thanks and Regards
