I see that 4 updates are available for some of the softwares in the CC suite but am unable to link to the CC server. Does anyone know why I get such error message? Am unable to see any apps in the Creative Cloud window in the menu bar. I have all the soft of the CC suite but can't do any update. I have tried uninstalled the CC app, thrown the OOBE content from the Adobe folder in the Applications support directory, restarted my computer before reinstalling the CC application, but the same message remains and am still unable to perforn any update of the CC softwares.
    Many thanks in advance,

  • Creative Cloud, Download error doesn't go away (for a month now)

    Hi everyone,
I got 'Download error' about a month ago (10.9.5, MBPr), after that I tried everything I could think of:
    - permission steps from this topic Help | Download Error in Apps tab of Creative Cloud Desktop Application
    - repairing permissions with Disk Utility and repairing ACL permissions with Reset Password utility
    - setting a new user
    - using root user
    - updating certificates
    - using safe mode
    - using different internet connection
    - probably something else
    - I spent 9 hours on phone with different support team members while they were trying the same things by themself, nothing worked.
Yesterday I reinstalled the OS (10.10.2, clean install) and the issue disappeared, but in the evening I rebooted the computer and the issue appeared again.
The errors in console were mostly non informative apart from LBS.log which was saying that something is wrong with partitions/PIM certificates
    03/27/15 23:57:25:638 | [INFO] |  | ACC | LBS | WorkflowManager |  |  | 1743182 | Successfully downloaded application xml at path /tmp/B58E0DB2-C6AD-4480-B614-874A46E27582/applications.xml

I started to reinstall the OS again trying to find the app that was interfering with CC, but and a friend of mine suggested something I couldn't think of: first install CC app, then Wacom drivers (I'm using Cintiq 13HD) and then relaunch the CC app. I tried that (on a clean install) and CC app stopped working immediately.
So I'm thinking Wacom kext somehow interfering with CC.
So why am I writing this here and not on Wacom's forum? Well actually I wrote there too but the strange thing is that CC is the only app that is broken and I'm not sure whom to blame.
Currently the only solution I found was reinstalling the OS over existing one, and right now CC app works together with drivers, but I really hope this can be investigated.
I wonder if there's anyone with CC, OSX and Cintiq who's experiencing the same issue and/or maybe someone who can say what's going on and how another driver can interfere with other software permissions.
    Thanks!
    Sergey

Sergey I found the following error within the DLM.log which is relevant to the failure.  The error is as follows:

Based off this I would verify that you have sufficient disk space to write the files to the tmp directory.  I would also recommend creating a new local administrator account and seeing if you continue to receive the same error.  Details on how to set up a new local Administrator account can be found at Install or run Adobe applications in new user account | Mac OS X.

  • Creative Cloud - Download error - stubborn error

This seems to be inconsistency quality assurance going on with Creative Cloud using Adobe Application Manager, I always get this stubborn - darn stubborn error message "Download error. Please contact customer support." In this case, I have no idea what the darn problem since it never gave me the reason as to what kind of error message that caused this stubborn download error.
I have no problem updating Creative Cloud apps on Mac Pro, but I am having this stubborn problem on my other computer - more specifically, MacBook Pro 17" unibody operating on Mac OS 10.8.2 (the latest version) Mountain Lion.
I have to say that I was very disappointed, because I had switched to Creative Cloud subscription from traditional Master Collection CS6.
This quality of service with Adobe Creative Cloud subscription proved worthless and unreliable and if this continue being this way, why should I continue to use Creative Cloud where it failed to download or not able to download at all? Why should I continue to pay subscription fees - even if I pay for annual contract.
I felt that I was ripped off by Adobe with faulty unreliable subscription service through Creative Cloud.
Please, please and please provide me a remedy solution. I have tons of project that I am working on.
    Deeply disappointed.
Long time Adobe consumer for years!!!
BEST of the BEST crap experience with Creative Cloud - that is based on my experience!

I have an iMac at home which is working fine with CC, but on my Macbook Pro 15 inch same error keeps on coming up. I can log into Adobe online, on the CC, but when checking whether I have the apps available online, I first have to log onto the Creative Cloud for teams section before it 'sees' me as a paying customer.
    Screen 1:
I then decide to open up the browser and go to Adobe.com and log into my account:
I have no products found and I have to click on the ad (which shouldn't show if I've already bought the software?)
And I get the options of downloading all the apps I need.
I have already downloaded the apps, but can't seem to log into the CC app in the toolbar at the top of my screen. I can log into Behance too, but it looks like I'm getting an old version of everything. The Typekit facility as well as the files section doesn't seem to work yet, even though it looks like everyone else is using it.
    Adobe, please sort this out!

  • Creative cloud download error 205

Whenever I try to download Creative cloud desktop app I get the error code 205. I've tried downloading it from different internet browsers and turning my firewall off as suggested in threads of a similar nature but its still happening. I would really appreciate any help on this!

tedwardber, I would recommend having your I.T. department review the Adobe Creative Cloud Service Access Documentation for IT section of Creative Suite Enterprise Deployment | Adobe Developer Connection This documentation is useful for guidance on how to set up a managed network to work successfully with a Creative Cloud membership.

  • Creative Cloud Download Error (-60)

Using AAM to download the creative cloud software I gat an error downloading Photoshop (only photoshop).
About at 20% I get an error message like "The download seems damaged. Whait some minutes and retry (-60)". I've tied many many times, from different connection and I got the same resutl all time.
    Some Ideas?

    Hi Magicalella,
A common workaround is to download the trial version instead and then license it using the process described here:
Convert CS6 trials for licensing with Creative Cloud Membership | CCM, CS6

  • Creative Cloud "Download Error" message

    Graemezee1,
not sure if you saw the earlier comments in this thread, but several people seem to be confused by the path to take care of this. Most are going to the visible directory and not the hidden. The ~ indicates Hidden directory. To get to this, go to Finder, while holding down option key select Go menu at top and you should seee Library as an option on pull down menu (you won't see this if you don't hold down option key). This gets you to the hidden Library directory and you can try one or both of the things below:
Quit Creative Cloud ( on PCs, launch the Task Manager and STOP Creative Cloud.exe ), then:
Try to delete AAMupdater folder from
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/       If above doesn't worked then perform below step:
    Delete the opm.db file under
            ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    Relaunch Creative Cloud.
    Hope this helps.

I get an error stating cc cookies dir: cannot make folder / cookies: Permission denied (error 13) when I attempted to download the creative cloud installer on my Mac. Can anyone help with similar pop up window?  I'm trying to get a trial version of CS5.

You do not need to involve Creative Cloud to install/try the trial version of CS5...
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.
