Creative Cloud / Encore

Adobe's website says Encore CS6 is available through Creative Cloud, yet it's not listed as an app on CC.  I there another way it can be downloaded?

You do not download Encore... you download and install Premiere Pro CS6... and Encore is included in the "bundle"

Be sure to follow ALL of the instructions, including the link INSIDE the 1st link above, so you get ALL of Encore

  • Adobe Encore and Creative Cloud Help...

    Hello,
I am using  Creative Cloud. I tried to access the Encore program but it was not there. I went to Adobe training and was instructed to UNinstgall the Premiere CS6 trial I had been suing but to leave the Encore intact. I did this but it still wont let me open the Encore. I get the following error message.
    Adobe Encore.exe
This program can’t start because amtlib.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I am running a Windows machine with Windows 8.
Can you help? I need to know how to access Adobe Encore.
    Thanks

So you were using the Premiere Pro CS6 trial?
I would uninstall Encore CS6 from your computer, then reboot.
Log into CC and download Premiere Pro CS6 as described in these steps.  Then run PPro CS6 to make sure it works, and that you're NOT in trial mode.  Close PPro CS6.  Then run Encore CS6.
If this works, then you can uninstall PPro CS6, leaving only Encore CS6.

  • Does encore come with the creative cloud

  • Encore CS6 is asking for a Serial Number when I have Creative Cloud

I have the same problem identified here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1024884
I am running Windows 7 on a new Dell Vostro, have a subscription to Creative Cloud, have never installed a trial version of the software, and recently installed Premier Pro. The first time I try to run Encore, I get the two screens shown in that thread and repeated here:
"Adobe Encore CS6 cannot run in trial mode. Please relaunch the application and provide a valid serial number."
"Adobe Premier Pro. Provide a serial number."
I had previously got the problem identified here:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/missing-sequence-presets.html
Following the recommendations fixed the problem, but still Encore has the same issue.
    When I access this URL:
    https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/
    I get the message:
"Congratulations! You have successfully connected to Adobe License Management Server."
It appears this is a common problem, but there does not seem to be a common solution. For example, here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4677807
    and
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4589055
I checked and have no "Hosts" file.
    Further, here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4677888
I have found that waiting or rebooting the PC does not fix the problem.
Lastly, I tried that proposed here:
    http://www.seangw.com/wordpress/2012/08/help-photoshop-cs6-asks-for-serial-number-after-si gning-up-for-creative-cloud/
And that did not work either.
Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro all work fine.
    So, what is the solution?
Update, 2012-11-06. I spent 30 minutes on a chat session with Adobe support. The support person told me emphatically that Encore is not part of Creative Cloud and can be obtained only by buying Premiere Pro and not from the Creative Cloud subscription. To prove the point, the support person pointed me to this page:
    https://creative.adobe.com/apps
Now on that page, Adobe has done something clever and stupid. If you view the page with XP (for example), it does not show Premier Pro because Premiere Pro works only on a 64 bit OS. If you view the same page under Windows 7 it does show Premiere Pro. I think it would be better if Adobe showed the application (possibly greyed out) with a note that it cannot be installed on the PC that is viewing the page. Well, I was having the chat on my laptop (running XP) and I guess the support person was also on XP so the case was proved!
But I sent him a link to this page:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tools.html
However, the support person told me I needed to contact sales. I called them and asked the support guy to wait on the chat session until I had an answer. The lady in sales said that Encore is definitely included in Creative Cloud. But as I was about to relay that information to the support person, he ended the chat session!
The pleasant lady in sales said she would transfer me to phone technical support. I was on hold for 60 minutes and had to quit to go and do a task.
Perhaps this will be resolved and I shall update this thread ...

I got help with this problem.
You only need to sign out from the creative cloud. Go to preference, sign out. Open Premiere Pro CC, help sign out.
Then re-open premiere pro cc and sign back in, and you should now be able to open encore as well!
    Worked for me!

  • Adobe Encore with single app purchase in Creative Cloud?

    Hi Adobe Community.
I Am very much interessed in the Adobe Encore app from the Creative Suite. I understand Adobe Encore works with Premiere Pro, so i was wondering if i bought  the premiere pro app only, as a single purchase, would i then be able to use the Encore app? I know you could buy the whole package of adobe Creative cloud app's, and then get access to Creative Suite app's as well, but is it a possibility to get the Encore app with an single app purchase? Because buying the whole package of Creative Cloud is a bit too expensive for me unfortunately.
I hope i have expressed myself in an understandable way.
Thank You so much for helping me out.
    -Joachim Meinert, Denmark.

When you have Premiere Pro Cloud, you may also download Premiere Pro CS6 and the bundled Encore CS6
CS5-thru-CC PPro/Encore tutorial list http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1448923 has the information on Encore CS6
The bottom section of the link above has several Adobe links, and other information, on downloading Premiere Pro CS6 and the bundled Encore CS6, and the TWO ADDED downloads for the Encore library content, to author a DVD or BluRay... and the tutorial list includes learning how to use Encore... pay particular attention to the picture in reply 3 at this link - Is encore included in premiere cc 2014?

  • Where is Adobe Encore CS 6 at to download in the creative cloud?

I've searched every where I could in the cloud and cannot find adobe encore cs 6 to download. I am a member of the creative cloud and they say members have access to CC and CS6 apps. At least that is my understanding. Does anyone know how or have a link to download it? It obviously isn't in my adobe application manager.
    Thank you for your help.
    Virgil

    Hey Jeff
No, I can download stuff, it just seems that I'm not getting everything. Like being able to open creative cloud app from start menu... I can't figure out why I don't have that.
and my application manager doesn't look like the one on the adobe website, though I think that's the actual creative cloud app... I've attached a screen shot of it. See if it looks right to you.
I hope i'm making sense. Thank you,

  • Locating Adobe Encore in Adobe Creative Cloud?

As a member of Adobe Creative Cloud, I have access to all of the programs to download and use (well, at least I thought I did).  I am unable to locate the Adobe "Encore" program from my list of downloadable programs, and yet, Adobe advertises this program on their website.  I am trying to burn my home made, Full HD videos that I created in Adobe Premiere onto a blu-ray disc and I have been told that Encore has this capability.  Does anyone know how I can go about locating Adobe Encore within the Creative Cloud center to download, or at the very least, some alternative method?
    Thank you.

You install Premiere Pro CS6 and the bundled Encore CS6 is also installed

  • Is the only way to use Encore to have full creative Cloud?

I want to start using Encore, because I need a BluRay Authoring Software, I do have CS6 but only Creative suite without Premiere, is there another was to buy Encore instead of have fully access to Creative Cloud?

You'll spend much less to do it through the cloud.
I do not see an upgrade from Design to Master, and that makes any CS6 purchase option expensive.
Upgrade to cloud, about $30 per month for year for "everything." Or PR only for $30 per month, month by month. Or PR only for a year, $20 per month.

  • Encore not available under Creative Cloud Desktop App

    Hi
I have just purchased Premiere Pro CC 2014 as a single app
and am trying to find how to get the option to show Premiere Pro CS6 so I can install that to get Encore Installed.
I have followed the online docs on how to do this but can not see an option under Apps to show the Previous versions, all I have is Find new apps Tab on the left and on the right All Apps on the right, when I drop down all it gives me is an option to show from the Apps List Filter like> All Apps, Audio/Video Etc.
Onthe very top I have listed installed
    Premiere Pro CC
    Adobe Media Encoder
both listed as all up to date.
I originally started with a trial of the above 2 Apps but have now just purchased a licence for PP Single App Monthly, I have also incidently tried loging in and out of Creative Cloud, but still same resutls.
I am wondering if the CC Desktop App has changed since the Encoure Tutorial?
    Thanks in advance.

when I drop down all it gives me is an option to show from the Apps List Filter like> All Apps, Audio/Video Etc.
Go down the etc and there you will find Previous Version.

  • Can't use encore in creative cloud

HEY , recently joined creative cloud ... and I am currently working with premier pro ... But my encore software doesn't work ... it wants a serial number .... please help me out because i joined creative cloud just to use encore ?

Do you have an option to License This Software?  When you do are you entering the Adobe ID tied to your membership subscription?

  • I want adobe encore but it not found in the ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD

the question is if I buy Adobe Premiere Pro
did the encore and the encode  included in it ?
    thanks

As the above post comments, one gets Encore via having the CC license, then downloading a "Previous Version" through the CC desktop app, choosing Premiere Pro CS6, but then if you only want Encore, in the installation box you say only install Encore.
Adobe has a blog post on how to setup Encore ... as you'll need to both download/install, then download a couple other "libraries" of things for it, unzip & place those in specific directories, THEN Encore is totally available for use. Found at the following link:
Encore CS6 not installed with Creative Cloud
It would also be useful to search here for "encore installing"

  • Is Encore available for Creative Cloud members?

I am currently subscribed to Creative Cloud, and from the past I have Master Collections (4, 5 and 5.5). But somehow it's completely impossible for me to install Encore? It's not available between the Creative Cloud apps, and I can't install it with the Application manager (which I can only use to remove programs, which seems a bit strange for a 'manager'!)
I understand Encore hasn't (yet?) been updated from CS6 to CC, but it should still be possible to download and install this application...

You should probably post your question about burning a DVD from Premiere Pro in the Premiere Pro forum
