Creative cloud existing customer offer question

Hey there,
Just wondering, if I subscribe to creative cloud using the existing customer discount offer, will I still be able to use my existing CS5, or will that serial number no longer be valid?
Thanks!
Ian

Hi Ian,
You would be able to access your CS5 even you purchase creative cloud discounted offer.
It will be valid and your new creative cloud susbcription will not effect your CS5 product or its serial number.
Let me know if you need more info.
Thanks!
Eshant

  • Adobe Creative Cloud 3 month offer says "serial already redeemed"

I recently purchased a Wacom Tablet which included an offer for three months Adobe Creative Cloud full package, which of course I'd like to use. When I go to https://creative.adobe.com/redeem and fill in the serial number I received from Wacom I get the message that the code has already be redeemed, which I haven't yet. What to do?

    Hi casam4139571
You will find your valid code for the Adobe Creative Cloud Complete 3-month plan on your personal Wacom user dashboard https://www.wacom.eu/register . Please contact Wacom Europe support ([email protected]) if further assistance is required.

  • Creative Cloud Still not offering Lightroom CC??

I just updated Creative Cloud to Version 2.0.0.74 which includes a Photoshop CC and After Effects Update but when I go to the Find New apps section Lightroom is still listed as Lightroom 5 and not Lightroom CC?? Is Lightroom 5 really Lightroom CC??

For those of you that haven't been able to get your hands on LR CC, count your blessings.
They seem to be making it up as they go along.   The Lightroom CC version, which I downloaded (tried anyway) and installed is a MESS.   Hopefully they are fixing it and will post an actual working version soon.  Here's just a short description of the issues I've had since installing it (multiple times.)
My problems were (and still are) these:
1    Just trying to start Creative Cloud takes anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes, sometimes longer.
2   Messages about 'trial versions have 30 days' left (logging off CC then back in seems to resolve this one, but takes
3 to 5 minutes each time)
    3.  When downloading LR CC, it would download reasonably fast, then start its install process (unzipping itself and running)
and 'freeze' at 43% for about 20 or thirty minutes.   After that it would continue.
4   Once installed, you get a "Server Busy" message every time LR CC starts.  and it says 'switch the other program', (without
telling you what program) and when I that it took me to my Windows desktop'.
HOURS spent trying to resolve this issue, including turning off various  windows services like Windows Indexing service,
"superfetch", etc.   Issue is still happening.
after about 10 minutes, the serve busy message stops then when
you try to import a catalog, LR CC freezes up.
After reading and trying all the 'solutions' for these problems posted in these forums I gave up and called Adobe support.
When I first called it said it would be 10-20 minutes in the queue before anyone could assist.   Ended up being 45 minutes on hold.   Then 4 and 1/2 hours (that's not a typo) through three different technicians, most doing the same crap over and over. There was no language issue or anything like that; they were polite and went right on following their standard solution scripts that I'm sure have been written to address these issues (but don't seem to actually work!)
There seems to be a technique they use to shorten their 'average call time'.   Every so often they say "I'm going to transfer you to another person", and get your phone number "just in case we get disconnected", then disconnect the call, and the return call is pretty prompt.  But I'm guessing it looks better on their reports to have 3 or 4 one hour calls than one 4 hour, (even if issues are still unresolved).
At the end they said 'an expert' would be calling me today.   I think the product just has bugs that should have never made it out of beta.   I've had Adobe CC for over about 2 years and never had issues like this.    For a company that makes millions and millions of dollars on this software you would think they could do better.
Probably best to wait a couple of weeks and hope for the best when they (hopefully) have a working product.

  • Creative Cloud existing product discount

Does Lightroom 5 count as a qualifying product for the Creative Cloud complete for CS3 or later plan?
    Thank you.

Unfortunately not.  It applies to Creative Suite CS3 or later products only.
    Thanks

  • Does CS6 not qualify for CC's "existing customer offer"?

The Adobe IDs are the same. I've tried entering the serial number with no luck, does Master Collection really not qualify me for this offer? Does this have to do with my CS6 being from 2012?

It definitely qualifies. Seems to be an issue with Adobe's registration system.

  • One-year free subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud Photography

Hey! I want to buy a Canon Pixma Pro-1 printer and it says there that Adobe and Canon has an offer on a one-year free subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud Photography. My question is: I already have a subscription, how will I be able to use the offer?

  • Multiple Creative cloud licenses.

I have 8 seats in my edit facility. Could it be possible to create only 4 Adobe IDs and 4 Creative cloud subcriptions to provide tools for my edits? I dont think that Creative cloud for teams offers anything interesting for our needs. If you can use one Creative cloud license in two workstations at the same time in same network, this would lower the costs by 50%.

Your facility situation reminds me "sort of" like this comment:

This is a small studio with a 4 seat CS 5 Production Premium license. They primarily use Final Cut X, Cinema 4D, PS, and AE. These tools are vital to their operation and the content they create. Ingrained to the point that I was just restoring .PSB files from 2005 that are 25 – 35 GB each! I can hardly imaging the pain. But I digress in my passion.
This studio has no need for the traditional print production tools (Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and has no need for wed/interactive tools (Flash, Dreamweaver). So we face the problem of what to purchase and what to pay. Lets look at the options.
Option 1: Buy the perpetual license for CS6 Production Premium and realize that we are buying a dead end product. 4 seats @ $749 each is a one time fee of $2,996. This gets the studio the tools they use, not more, not less. But it also ensures that they get nothing more.
Option 2: Subscribe to the Creative Cloud for Teams. This is 4 subscriptions @ $39.99/month * 12 months for a first year total of $1,919.52. This is a ~$1000 savings over the perpetual license and will provide a “consistent” stream of updates. Ah, but it is year two and three that are painful. This is were those 4 units will now cost $3,359.52 per year to continue operation. This is a three year cost of $8,638.56 to be part of CC and get all the things they will never use. 100GB of cloud storage? What is that, 2 minutes of 4K red? Or 4 of those PSBs from 2005? Useless for this workflow.
Option 3: Now here is where is gets strange. Let’s forget about the history this customer has with Adobe. Scrap that decade and a half customer relationship and let’s assume each of the artists in the studio signed up for CC for individuals. This means no upgrade price. This means no first year discount. This is the straight $49.99 individual, new customer price. 4 systems @ $49.99 for 12 months is $2,399.52 for the first year. Still less than perpetual license upgrade and about $400 more than CC for Teams. But here is were it gets odd. The three year cost is $7,198.56!!!! This is $1,440 CHEAPER than the Teams subscription which is supposedly rewarding me for being an existing customer!?! What kind of message is this sending?

  • Is it possible to install previous TRIAL versions of previous versions of Adobe Creative Cloud Software?

Look, I'm just testing the trial versions right now.  Don't try to troubleshoot something that I don't ask; this is what I'm looking to accomplish:
Is it possible to install a trial version of any of the Adobe Creative Cloud software in a previous version?  By that, I am referring to the following:
I want to install a trial version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014; NOT Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.1.  If you notice, I want to reinstall a trial version of the previous release.  Don't ask why, you'll just laugh for my stupid reason, but I'm merely wondering if it is possible.  Creative Cloud now only offers trials of the newest versions, and I want to install trails of previous versions for my own, personal reasons.  Is this possible to do with creative cloud, or must I do it some other way?
Is it also possible to obtain the physical installation files so that I won't have to always go through creative cloud to download them again (and then I can just set it up without being connected to the internet)?

The previous version option is only available to individuals which have a membership.  The availability of previous version titles available is dictated by the computer meeting the minimum system requirements and the entitlement of the membership to access the requested applications.  To future viewers of this discussion if you are unsure what software titles your membership is entitled to please contact our support team directly at Contact Customer Care.
Wastingyourlifeaway you can download the installers for the CC version of the applications from Download New Adobe CC Trials: Direct Links (no Assistant/Manager) | ProDesignTools.  Please make sure to complete the Very Important Instructions prior to scrolling down the page and clicking on the download link.

  • Creative Cloud for Higher Ed Institution

I'd like a few questions answered on deploying Creative Cloud at a higher education institution. I need to submit a proposal to purchase the Ceative Cloud in a 20 seat lab for one year.
    1. Can you tell me the price per seat for the software starting next August?
    2. Is there a different educational price per year than per month?
    3. How many users per seat can access the 20 GB of online storage?
    4. How many users per seat can upload websites to Business Catalyst? ; we would run multiple classes in the 20 seat lab so there is potential for 4 students to use a seat of the Cloud at different times during the week.
    5. Does an educational subscription let you download one Mac and one Windows version of the Cloud per seat?
thank you, I need this info in a timely manner to complete my proposal. If this is not the place to ask these questions please give me an email address to send these

    Hi Utjoe7,
I would start out by checking this link:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/companies.html
If you are specifically interested in a volume license options for Creative Cloud Membership they may changed after the end of the year. We currently have a product called Team Ready, this is a temporary product until we have volume license for Creative Cloud available (Creative Cloud Team), Team Ready is the same price as Creative Cloud Team and can be transitioned into Creative Cloud Team once available.
Creative Cloud Team Ready offer is a 12-month term based TLP (Transactional Licensing Program) offering that consists of immediate access to CS6 Master Collection and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom via ESD (Electronic Software Download). Customers of the Creative Cloud Team Ready offer receive ongoing value over time, including access to new Adobe tools, services, and applications as the offerings become available, including Adobe Edge, and Adobe Muse.

  • Creative Cloud app won't stay signed in. Windows 8.1.

I have researched this over and over. It seems like a lot of people have this problem, but never any official answer. No solution.
I log into the Creative Cloud app. About 5 minutes later, sometimes 10 or 15 if I'm lucky, I get signed out. I've signed in about 4 times today so far.  Rinse and Repeat. All day long. Every day.
Oh well, gotta go. Time to sign back into Creative Cloud again.
My question is this: Is there a way to keep this thing logged in for more than 5 minutes at a time?

  • Multiple Creative Cloud Subscriptions vs Creative Cloud Team

    Hi there,
My company is currently using CS3 and looking to purchase Creative Cloud for myself and our Graphic Designer. So we will probably start with 2 subscriptions, possibly more further down the track but that may not be for a while.
My question is would it be better to just subscribe the both of us to Creative Cloud as two separate accounts, or should we go for the Creative Cloud Team Ready offer? I'm finding it hard to find information about pricing for Creative Cloud Team (we are in Australia), so it just feels like it would be easier to go for the two separate subscriptions.
My main concerns are if there is any major benefit in terms of pricing and features, given that we are a relatively small team.
    Thanks
    Dan

    Hi Dan,
The pricing differences might not be significant enough to justify it with just two members but you could contact an Adobe authorized reseller near you to confirm and get some quotes.

  • Access Multiple Creative Cloud Storages

Currently, I work at home and at work (duh).
Both, I and my place of work own separate subscriptions to CC. However, as you can imagine, I often work on the same file (say a FLA file) both at work and at home.
So the question arises, will we ever be able to create a link to authorize access to another CC [online] Storage through the new File Sync feature in the latest version of the CC desktop program.
The reason I ask this is some of the files I work with are multi-gig in size and may fail to upload via the web-browser option currently available.
The only other option is to sign out of the CC of the 'work sub' and sign in with my own personal sub; then remember to sign out before leaving. This option is much more likely to fail and end up with me calling Support to unlock the license (from activating and deactivating in a short period of time).

    Hi there,
Adobe's Creative Cloud uses a new identity-based licensing model which means only one subscription per Adobe account. You will want to look into the Creative Cloud Team Ready offer.
The Team Ready offer is a 12-month term based TLP (Transactional Licensing Program) offering that consists of immediate access to CS6 Master Collection and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom via ESD (Electronic Software Download). Customers of the Creative Cloud Team Ready offer receive ongoing value over time, including access to new Adobe tools, services, and applications as the offerings become available, including Adobe Edge, and Adobe Muse. You pay the same price as the Creative Cloud Team offering and will be automatically transitioned to the Team Membership when it is available later this year.
