Creative Cloud falsely thinks Premiere Pro is installed.

So I've got a bit of a problem here. A few days ago, I downloaded and installed the Premiere Pro trial through creative cloud, however my computer (Windows) ran into some problems and I had to restore it to a back up from before PP was installed. I went to re-install it through the creative cloud, however it was already shown as being installed and only offered an 'update' button which would fail everytime I tried.
I can't 'uninstall' Premiere Pro, as it isn't located on my computer anywhere and isn't in the add/remove programs list. I've also uninstalled and re-installed Creative Cloud, but with no luck.
Anyone have an idea as to what I can do to do a fresh install of Premiere Pro again?

Please follow the mentioned steps:
1. Go to Add/Remove program and uninstall CC desktop if present.
2. Navigate to C/Program Files(X86)/Common Files/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old
     Navigate to C/Program Files(X86)/Common Files/Adobe/Caps and rename to Caps.old
3. Download and install CC desktop: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and you should see option to install.
If still it does not work try downloading Premiere Pro from the direct link: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html .
Please follow the very important instruction before download.

So I uninstalled all my apps and re-downloaded them through Creative Cloud so CC would 'see' that I had the apps. Not so easy with Acrobat XI: I had problems opening it so I went through the 'Uninstal Acrobat XI' app in the Acrobat folder, and now Creative Cloud thinks it's still installed and therefore I can't download a fresh copy.
    Should I go through the rigmarole of uninstalling Creative Cloud again and run the risk of it losing track of all my other apps once again, or is there another way to work around this? Every time I try to download from the Adobe site it launches Creative Cloud...
    Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me please.

    With the help of Adobe support, I signed out of Creative Cloud and signed back in. Although I'd done this yesterday with no result, it worked this time and I'm currently reinstalling Acrobat.

    thanks Pattie, ended up chatting with adobe support and after trying everything they could think of, ended up having to delete cc desktop (uninstall wouldn't work) , delete bits from ~\library an \library, deleted adobe application manager, downloaded cc desktop and reinstalled, all ok now.
    support were really good with this, and in the end their recommendation worked

    I wouldn't think changing your password would have an impact but signing out of the Creative Cloud app and back in again might be something else to test. You might also try installing the trial version of Lightroom 5 and see if it appears in the list in the Creative Cloud app afterwards.

    Your hardware and operating system must meet the minimum tech specs for the various apps.

    In your case, it seems like you're running Windows XP 32 bit which means you won't see the following apps since they will not run on your computer:
    Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore, SpeedGrade - all 64 bit only
    Lightroom 4 - won't run on Windows XP. Only  runs on Vista, Win 7 and Win 8
    Creative Cloud Connection - only runs on Win 7 and Win 8
    In addition, you won't have access to any 3D tools in Photoshop CS6 Extended since they're not available in XP.
    Plus Adobe have announced that Photoshop CS6 is the last version which will run on Win XP

    The CC will be active as long as you make payments, in case you stop the payment & then try to use any CC app say for e.g. Photo shop, it will not work though it can be seen as installed.
    The Premier is one time purchase with serial number & is active as long you use it as per the end user license agreement.

    Then first of Sign out from Creative Cloud and Sign in using Email ID using which you had purchased subscription.
