  • Creative Cloud Folder does not appear in Finder

I have installed Creative Cloud on my Mac.  I do not have the Creative Cloud File Folder.  Here is screen shot from desktop app:
I've tried looking through forums but haven't found an answer to this issue.  Thank you for help.

As the desktop app (and the "Tell Me More" button) detail, neither File Sync nor Typekit Sync are available currently. You're not missing anything.
It's being rolled out slowly to small groups of users before becoming generally available. If you'd like to get access before it becomes publicly available, you can sign up for the Early Access Program.

  • Creative Cloud File Folder

My other team members are unable to view or retrieve files that I add to our Creative Cloud File Folder.  Any ideas?

If each team member is signing in with their own Adobe ID then each team member has their own private file storage.
When you install the Creative Cloud Connection application then a Creative Cloud Files folder is created on your computer. This folder mirrors you private storage in the cloud.
Currently you can only share links for individual files. Folder sharing is coming.

  • No Creative Cloud Files folder

    Hi guys,
I've had Creative Cloud installed on my Mac for a while now, and have just decided to try using the Cloud to share and sync files. However, when I hit "start syncing", nothing happens. I looked into why this may be and it turns out I don't have a Creative Cloud Files folder anywhere on my Mac. Tried reinstalling the CC desktop app, but this hasn't worked. Any ideas?

    dannyNB,
You could also try the solution in this posting: Re: Sync folder can't be activated.
This seems to have worked for a few others with similar issues.

  • Why is my amount of space used different from my Creative Cloud Files Folder size?

Why is my amount of 'space used' different from my Creative Cloud Files Folder size? CC is telling me I'm using 93% (18.6GB of 20GB) but my CC File Folder only contains 13.42GB?

Have you checked the "Archive" section on the Creative.adobe.com website ?
When you delete the files then they are moved to the "Archive" from where you can delete the content permanently.
Clear the Archive section and then check.

  • Creative cloud files folder location

many of us creative types have a fast flash-disk space for our system and application fies, and another dirive for our data.
So it is a pity that the Creative Cloud Connection utility allows the Creative Cloud Files Foder to be only on the user disk.
It is for this reason alone that I will not be using this service

  • Unable to create the creative cloud files folder.

I get this message when I try to sync files to Creative Cloud folder:
I have tried the options, and to close the program and restart the computer, but no luck.

    Hi,
This looks like Creative Cloud is unable to create the Creative Cloud folder is your user home folder, are you certain that this location is 100% writable? there are no permissions stopping programs writing to this location?, its unusual that your Creative Cloud folder is missing, you must have manually moved or deleted it.
    Thanks

  • Creative cloud for mac apps not appearing

No apps are appearing in my apps menu, thus I cant dowload any of them

    Hi Honeyrush2000,
    Welcome to Adobe Forums.
If a white screen appears when you log in to creative cloud, follow the steps in the below article.

Also make sure your system meets the minimum system requirements.
Some applications would be missing if the system does not meets the minimum system requirements. Refer to below article.

  • I'm getting conflicting files in my Creative Cloud files folder

Hi, I need some help understanding what is happening with the sync feature in creative cloud.
I'm currently working on a project from the office, leave work come home and work again at night with the same file.
My understanding is that I will be working on the same file because cc will sync the file to the last saved version. But instead I'm having the original file and another 2-3 version of the file with (Conflicted copy from %COMPUTERNAME% on 2013-11-01) added to the name.
The problem is that you have to search and make sure you are working on the last version of the file, in addition to the confusion, risk and the hassle of renaming files.
Can I fix this with some setup? am I doing something wrong or this is an Adobe problem??
    Please any help is appreciated

Make sure you signed in with same email address on your Computer, website and Ipad.
    To check
Open Creative Cloud App and Click Gear icon on the top Right corner, then open preferences.
    Click on accounts.
Also make sure you have enough space in your cloud account
If the email address is same then check.

  • Help - My main computer doesn't create the "Creative Cloud files" folder

My Imac (OsX 10.9.4) doesn't create the folder "CCF" .
I pick time after time the "star synchronization" bottom, then start the wheel to run but nothing really happens in the end.
However, I could create the folder without problems in my laptop, same OS.
How could I solve this problem?
    Thanks!

  • Files/Folders do not appear in Finder right away

I have just a few 10.4.3 machines (out of hundreds) that are having an odd Finder problem.
If the user is in either Quark 6.5, Word 2004 (11.2.1), or Photoshop CS (and probably others) and uses the Save dialog to create a new folder for their file, and saves it to either a server share (W2K3) OR their local Desktop; the folder/file will not be visible from the Finder for several minutes. Eventually though, they do appear in the Finder normally.
Another user on the network with a Finder window displaying the target folder WILL see newly created folders/files before the local user does.
Interestingly, Apple programs do not exhibit this problem. Text Edit and Preview tested.
Deleting the Finder pref file does not help.
These machines were upgraded to 10.4.3 from 10.3.x via the Upgrade option in the 10.4.3 installer.
At least one person with this problem has a brand new local home folder.
    Any suggestions anyone?

You might try Rainer Brokerhoff's NUDGE contextual menu item. I have used it to force the Finder to update the size of items in a folder, but forgot to try it the other day when I was playing with some folders that refused to display their contents after being un-tarred (is that a word?). Adding a new folder immediately caused the contents to appear though.

  • Library Folder does not appear in Finder?

I recently purchased MacGourmet.  When I click on "Where is my Database" in the Help menu, I get the following path: User/Library/Application Support/MacGourmet.
However, when I try to find this going through Finder, there no "Library" folder appears in the main list under me as a user.  Where do I find the library folder?
This is important because, in order to sync the MacGourmet database with my iPad, I need to be able to find the database and add it to the folder transfer on iTunes.  Right now, I can't do this as there is no path for me to follow?
Anyone know how I can find this Library folder????
    Thanks
    Orest

If you use the Terminal command it will only work up to the next update, then you'll have to do it again.  It's better to open a finder Library window and grab the icon at the top of the window and drag it to the finder's sidebar.  This shortcut will survive future updates.

  • What is the Creative Cloud Files (archived) folder for?

I see its content mirrors the same stuff that's currently in my Creative Cloud Files folder on my Mac finder.

This effectively a back up of your Creative Cloud folder if you uninstall and re install Creative Cloud. The Creative Cloud folder is not deleted during an uninstall to preserve your data.

    Hi @amia,
Yes, you can change the location of the "Creative Cloud Files" folder on your desktop computer.  In the CC desktop app, select the Settings icon (gear icon in upper right), then the "Preferences..." menu option.  Click the Files tab and you'll see the "Folder Location" option.
    Hopefully this works for you.
    Thanks,
    Elba
