Read up on web authoring. Nothing to do with any magic "export" or whatever. You include them in your CSS definitions and put them on the server, if that is technically and legally possible with a given font. You may need pay extra licensing cost for web use.

  • Creative cloud font sync not working

I have selected 2 fonts in typekit to use on my desktop. When I view my account synced fonts I see this:
But in my creative cloud fonts tab they don't show:
I have turned syncing off & then back on, rebooted etc. but they still don't sync.
Any help to resolve this much appreciated.

    Hi Dave,
I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this.  I've confirmed that the font selections are added to your account correctly.  We'll need to take a look at your Creative Cloud log files and see why they are not getting transferred to your computer.
    On OS X:
    * Open the Finder
    * under the Go menu, select "Go To Folder"
    * in the window that opens, type:  /Users/(username)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/
Remember to replace "(username)" with your own account name.
(Or if you are comfortable working from the Terminal, cd to $HOME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/)
    On Windows:
    C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync\
Please attach the 3 or 4 most recent CoreSync-yyyy-MM-dd.log files to an email and send them to [email protected] (Don't send a zip file, as they often get flagged as spam.)
    Thank you!

  • Creative Cloud Font going Crazy

I downloaded the Futura PT font from the Creative Cloud site. As can be seen in the link below, I had just made a simple title with the first line using the Heavy weight and the rest using the Book weight. Today when I sat down to my Mac and opened the After Effects project, it said the font was missing. I then noticed that the Creative Cloud icon was missing from my desktop. I closed AE, opening up CC, reopened AE and the font was there again. The AE sequence was part of a Premier Pro project using Dynamic Linking, but my problem occured in AE as well. For some reason a couple of the frames at two differnt places revert back to Myriad Pro, which I think is the default font. I couldn't figure out why. Nothing I tried would make it stick. I eventually just remade the comp from scratch, and it is working fine now.

  • Creative Cloud fonts keep unloading in InDesign

    Hi
I have been using Creative Cloud to load Typekit fonts in Indesign for a while with great success.
However, recently the fonts that I have had synced have started unsyncing within Indesign. They are showing as syned in the CC menu but are not available in ID. They only become visible again if I quit Creative Cloud and open it up again. Which can get quite annoying and time-consuming.
I am running an iMac Intel Core i3 with iOS 10.9.5
I am also running the latest version of the Creative Cloud Apps.
    Thanks

  • What is best Creative Cloud Font Management System?

What is the best font management app/system to use on Mac OS x with CC?

    Welcome to the forum,
Most software are still not listing CC compatibility for feature such as auto-activation, etc., for example:
Extensis Compatibility with Adobe Creative Cloud
    http://blog.extensis.com/auto-activation-plug-ins/extensis-compatibility-with-adobe-creati ve-cloud.php
    http://www.fontexplorerx.com/macfeatures/
    etc...
I would suggest to contact any of the font management companies/developers directly if you have questions of compatibility concerning CC and features you may have been used to working with in the past before CC was released, to ensure your expectations are accurate when buying.

  • How can I make the font bigger in Creative Cloud?

Since I saw no other posts come up in the search, I need to know if I can make the Creative Cloud app itself have a bigger font.  I finally found where someone had shown how to do it for Photoshop.  (This is due to the fact I am on a Toshiba laptop with an Ultra 4K screen, resolution at 3840 x 2160.)  Basically I can barely read any of the app names to know what is available to install.
    Thanks for the help!!!

  • Which Adobe fonts are required by Creative Cloud

We try to keep our font libraries to a minimum. Which Adobe fonts installed with Creative Cloud are absolutely necessary for Creative Cloud to function properly? I've already determined that Hobo Std must be installed for Bridge to work properly. Anyone know of a listing of required fonts? All I can find is which fonts are added at installation, but I'm pretty sure they are not all necessary. Thanks!

  • Exporting screen layouts made with Creative Cloud for Xcode and Eclipse.

    Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to create the screens layouts (User Interface) with Creative Cloud and export the code to my developers in a way they can add additional coding to the screens I've created.
I am insterested in export to iOS devices (Xcode) and Android (Eclipse).
    Tks,

You Deserves cookie. YOU DESERVE COOKIE!!!!!
Adobe could never figure out why people were experiencing the problem, telling them to go to appdata rename this, uninstall this that, and the freaking coresync x64 wouldn't erase.
I was lucky that I born in the SSD era that it didn't take me that much time restarting my computer, I had to restart my computer so many times...and all my efforts was unnecessary.
I couldn't find this thread until today. Thanks. Adobe should request Google to move this thread up.

  • Fonts required by Creative Cloud

I have a question about what fonts are necessary for CC in the in the user/library/fonts folder.
I'm running Yosemite 10.10.2 and Suitcase Fusion 6. Suitcase recommends emptying the user/library/fonts folder, and activating any needed fonts through Suitcase.
It sounds like from this article, nothing is needed, and everything required is delivered transparently via TypeKit. Is this accurate? (In the past, I believe Verdana was needed for Adobe Illustrator, for example.)

  • Do I need to subscribe to Typekit separately if I already have a creative cloud account?

Someone sent me a InDesign File, and said that the font was a creative cloud font. I tried syncing the font to my desktop, but it says that it cannot be synced. Do I need to subscribe separately to Typekit??

As part of your Creative Cloud membership, you can access Typekit fonts for the desktop and web in a
single membership. There’s no installer, no need for a font management program; you can immediately
start using the selected fonts in all of your applications that support desktop fonts, including Adobe
InDesign,  Illustrator, Photoshop, and other desktop applications. In addition, both Illustrator CC and
InDesign CC offer direct access to Typekit desktop fonts right in their font menus, and InDesign finds
missing Typekit fonts for you when the file is opened and prompts you to sync them with a single click.

  • InDesign CC / Cloud Fonts - Incomplete Font warning, does not export font when Packaging?

I'm using a new font from the creative cloud.  I  packaged my project and the fonts showed "incomplete fonts" and then didn't export the font, into the font folder, when packaging.  There is an AdobeFnt15.lst file in the fonts folder, which I'm not sure about?  If this is the case, how will I deliver my project to my printer when it is finished?

If you downloaded Typekit fonts from the Creative Cloud (the ones available from the Fonts menu in the Creative Cloud Desktop app), they are not packaged. They are only licensed to Creative Cloud subscribers or Typekit subscribers. They can be embedded in a PDF file or in an EPUB file or in a DPS project.
So you have two options: (1) Given the popularity of the Creative Cloud, your printer should have at least one CC subscription, then they can download  the fonts you're using. In fact, it's a relatively automatic process and I describe in the linked blog post below; or (2) you can create a PDF file they can print from.
Here's an article on how it works:
Typekit Update in InDesign CC 9.2

  • How do I install my own fonts to use in the adobe creative cloud?

I have fonts that I have downloaded and used in a previous file but are not installed within the typekit.  Is there a way to load them into the creative cloud so that I can continue using the same font with the creative cloud?

    Hi lsiggins
Typekit is not font management software; it is a library of fonts that you can sync to your desktop to use alongside the fonts that you have installed locally. This tutorial shows how it works:
    http://help.typekit.com/customer/portal/articles/1145956
You will not upload your other desktop fonts to Typekit. You'll continue to manage them locally in Font Book, Suitcase Fusion, or another font management software.
I hope that this helps; let me know if you have any other questions. Best,

  • Is there any way to increase the font size in the Creative Cloud. Using a Lenovo Yoga 2 with 14" screen and care barely see the menus

Is there any way to increase the font size in the Creative Cloud. Using a Lenovo Yoga 2 with 14" screen and care barely see the menus.

In short, no. There is no fix yet. They only barely acknowledge there is a problem. The "fix" is to enable 200% UI scaling which makes everything comically huge and unusable. This is pretty much of a joke. A really, really EXPENSIVE joke.
