Creative Cloud Image Quality

I am exploring the feasability of using ACC as a good solution for our business esp. for client reviews - a couple proplems off the bat...
1. the jpeg compression as displayed through the browser is not good because i would want my clients to see as high quality as possible.
2. am i able to share a series of comps within one review link?
3. love the drag and drop but the file browser seems to throw out any sensible convention (or just lacks control of) when organizing the files... at least from what i am seeing it is def not alphabetized.

Thanks for the feedback.
1. We have heard feedback already about providing higher-quality renditions.
2. Currently you can only share files and not folders.
3. The sort order is by the time it was uploaded.

Have I lightroom 4 and Adobe Creative Cloud, since I synchronize them?

    Hi Lidia,
Although Lightroom is included as part of Creative Cloud, images in your catalog still need to be stored locally on the computers hard drive and not online.
This FAQ might help answer questions regarding the two products:

  • When I try to open an image by double clicking on it in Bridge, I get a message telling me to log in to Creative Cloud.  I am running CS6, and the default should be to open files in Photoshop 6 or in Adobe Raw (if it's a Raw file).  I don't want to log in

When I try to open an image by double clicking on it in Bridge, I get a message telling me to log in to Creative Cloud.  I am running CS6, and the default should be to open files in Photoshop 6 or in Adobe Raw (if it's a Raw file).  I don't want to log into CC since I am not a subscriber, and this means that I have to work around, and go  back to Bridge, and tell it to open the file in Adobe RAW.  However, this does not work for older psd files which for some reason cannot be opened in RAW.  How do I return to the process of simply allowing RAW files to open automatically in Adobe RAW, and simply right clicking on the image in Bridge to bring up the option of opening it in Photoshop?

  • Activation of Creative Cloud packages created with CCP 1.3 breaks when deploying via imaging

    Descption of the problem:
If Creative Cloud products are deployed as a part of an OS image and the packages are created with CCP for Windows 1.3, the activation still breaks.
The problem affects most of our class room computers but, however, not all of them.
When a standard user tries to open any of the products, an error message is displayed instead of opening the the program.
    Configuration error
A problem has occurred with the licensing of this product.
Restart your computer and re-launch the product.
If this problem still occurs after restarting, contact Customer Support for further assistance, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen.
    Error: 213:19
Installed Products: Acrobat XI,Ai,Dw,Fl,Id and Ps
    CCP version: 1.3.0, build 66
    CCP Workstation OS: Windows 7 SP1 32-bit
    Target OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
Workaround: running APTEE on an resolves the issue every time. Yet according to Adobe this should not be necessary.
    Deployment workflow
    1. Create a single package containg all of the products with CCP and an Enterprise CC serial number.
    2. Customize Acrobat .mst file for the target language with Adobe Customization Wizard XI, leaving the serial empty.
    3. Create a batch file to run ExceptionDeployer in pre mode, install the the other products and finally run ExceptionDeployer in post mode.
    4. Install the the package to a model computer using the batch.
    5. Run Windows's built-in sysprep tool  with OOBE and shutdown switches.
    6. Capture the image from the model computer and deploy it to other computers.
We can unfortunately reliably reproduce this issue and we are, if not happy, but at least willing to provide you all the required logs and other info to find a real solution.

It's important to keep in mind that the picture files are NOT stored in the Organizer. They are not stored in Lightroom or Bridge either...
The organizer is based on a catalog which stores the pictures properties, mainly the location of the pictures on your drive(s). It's the same idea of catalogs in Lightroom, and the nice thing is that Lightroom can convert organizer catalogs to its own format. The most obvious way for you will be to use Lightroom.
Bridge is a file browser which is a different way than to use catalogs.

  • Why can't I see image thumbnails of my .psdx files in my Creative Cloud Connection folder?

I am saving my projects to my Creative Cloud account and use the CC Connection. My .psdx files appear in my CC Connection folder as icons, not as image thumbnails. What am I doing wrong?

Btw, which OS are you using?
PSDX files might not be supported by the OS for a preview if that's what you mean about preview.
E.g. I cannot see the previews of PSD files either on a Windows desktop.
    thanks,

  • Illustrator Help | Unembed images | Creative Cloud only

This question was posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/unembed-images.html

    Hi BarbLovesInDesign,
Because Illustrator is part of the Creative Cloud, latest innovations and features that are added to the products are immediately available to Creative Cloud members. The Unembed image feature was available through a feature  update, and is thus available only to Creative Cloud members.

  • Images won't import from Lightroom. (I have Creative Cloud 1.7.1.418/Photoshop (2014)/Lightroom 5.6)

Images won't import from Lightroom to be edited. There were no problems until I upgraded to Photoshop (2014). LR & Photoshop work well independently (I have Creative Cloud 1.7.1.418/Photoshop (2014)/Lightroom 5.6). All are up-to-date.

I had the same problem.  It seems the scripts that control the transfer of images from LR to Photoshop got deleted or messed up.  The fix I found on the LR forum was as follows:
This solution allows you to run a repair installation without uninstalling Photoshop CC 2014. If you've already uninstalled Photoshop CC 2014, install it from the Apps tab of the Creative Cloud desktop application.
Open the Creative Cloud desktop application.
    Select the Apps tab.
Scroll down (if necessary) until the Find New Apps section displays.
On the same line as Find New Apps, select Filters & Versions > Previous Version.
Click the Install button next to Photoshop and select CC 2014.
    Click Yes, install this version.
Once I did this, the interaction between LR and PS CC 2014 started working again.  I did notice that Photoshop showed up as needing to be updated in the Adobe CC application so I just clicked on the update button and after a few minutes photoshop had been updated.  The importing function still works so I think everything is OK.
Not sure if this was part of the problem, but after updating the PS CC 2014 application  the first time, I uninstalled the original PS CC application as I didn't need it anymore.  I'm thinking that may have caused the scripts to be uninstalled along with the PS CC application.  Rerunning the installation put things back to normal.
    Hope this helps.

  • Creative cloud deleting an image

Just wondering I just ordered the creative cloud and I wanna know how to delete images that are uploaded by accident

Hi, I have had the same issue and this is how to resolve it:
It is a 2 step process - first select the files that you wish to delete and archive them. Once you have done that, go to the archive folder and select the files fromthe archives that you wish to delete and press "Permanently Delete". You will be asked to confirm each action at each step.
    Cheers, Alain.

  • Is there a way to access my images stored on Creative Cloud on my Ipad 2?

We are subscribers to Creative Cloud, and we have installed CC programs on the laptop for travel, and the desktop for the main office.  However, we will be doing some traveling in few weeks that we didn't want to take our laptop and were hoping to get by with the Ipad.  All we need access to are the images stored on our Creative Cloud account.  I haven't been able to figure out how to access them from the Ipad.
Is this a matter of not being able to use more than two devices?
    Thanks,
    Michelle

    Hi Any14poker,
Ideally, there is no such limitation to access the Creative Cloud content on the 2 devices. Creative Cloud is a web space where you store data and then access it from anywhere, anytime.
I don't have iPad handy to test the behavior, but you should be able to open Safari on iPad and visit creative, adobe, com website to access the images.
    Thanks,

  • I am looking into Lightroom (Creative Cloud) to allow a Team Member access my Catalog to keyword search which images will work for our Social Media platforms.

I am looking at LR Creative Cloud to allow a Team Member access my catalog so she can keyword search which images will work for our social media campaigns. My catalog has both personal and business images (which are in separate folders), however, I only want them to access the business images. What is the best way to do this?
and a second question as I am new to the Cloud LR product. I am assuming that my images still stay on my external drive...how am I or her able to view these images if I am out of town on another computer?

My catalog has both personal and business images (which are in separate folders), however, I only want them to access the business images. What is the best way to do this?
I think the only way in Lightroom to make this happen is to use two catalogs, one for business and one for personal, and then prevent access to the personal catalog via putting it on a disk or location that your team member does not have access to.
I am assuming that my images still stay on my external drive...how am I or her able to view these images if I am out of town on another computer?
Situations like this require you to put the catalog file AND photos on the external HD and then move the external drive to whatever location and whatever computer is needed. An alternative is to put the photos on a network drive and the catalog file on a local disk and access the catalog locally and the photos via network, but that limits you to using a single computer.
I am looking at LR Creative Cloud to allow a Team Member access my catalog so she can keyword search which images will work for our social media campaigns.
As far as I know, this does not require Creative Cloud, nor does Creative Cloud help in this situation. Furthermore, if you are thinking about a situation where you and your team member have simultaneous access to the catalog(s) of interest, this is not possible in Lightroom. Lightroom is a single user application.
If you are interested in a true multi-use application, where more than one individual can access a catalog at the same time, you might want to look at Daminion. Note: I am not endorsing or recommending Daminion, as I have never used it; I simply point out the that it has the feature being discussed.

  • Are my images safe from other people on Creative Cloud?

I'm wondering if it's possible for people to steal my images if they are on the Creative Cloud?

He can turn off iMessage in his iPod settings.
Or you can also delete his device from your iMessage account by going to Settings->Messages->Send & Receive. Just delete your email from his device, or his email from your device. I hope that makes sense.
