  • Creative Cloud is blank - I can't use it!

I've just got my laptop back(windows 8.1 operating system) after repairs and the creative cloud desktop app that was on there now isn't, so no problem; i go to download it but when it's finished downloading and it opens i am confronted by a blank screen on the desktop app, meaning i cannot download any program trials etc. which i desperately need for school. I have looked at many of the forum pages and tried out their suggestions but none of them have worked at all. I don't believe the problem to be anything to do with the repairs because many other people have had exactly the same problem i have where no solutions have worked. This problem seems to be a regular one this month so it would be best if I and others could get the answers we need.

  • Creative Cloud is Blank, nothing is displayed even after a reboot, what is the solution?

I did the following but it did not help,
    Rename the opm.db file.
1.Close the Creative Cloud application if it's running.
    2.Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
    3.Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
    4.Launch Creative Cloud
even after a reboot and installing an up date for Creative Cloud a blank screen is displayed

I have the Creative cloud panel blank... without apps... i just restarded 5 times...What should I do? I subscribed to photography and I only one active computer ... qiuesto would be the second. I do not know what to do ...

first, close your cc desktop app.
then, rename the opm.db file by:
        navigate to the OOBE folder.
            Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
            Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
and rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db, eg
finally, launch your cc desktop app.

  • Creative cloud is blank window why?

Windows 7 64 bit computer. Creative cloud informs me of updates, but on launch nothing appears but a blank window. Header creative cloud and the gear appear. The only options listed with the gear are; help, pin to window area, and quit creative cloud. Removing creative cloud and re-installing fails to fix the problem of a blank window. Cannot update any product using creative cloud, cannot see any thing in cloud window. No way to sign in or out, just quit. Problem for three days now and no support available to fix problem. This means paying for subscription, but not getting access or updates at this point. I feel a bit cheated paying for something, I am not getting!

For me, there is a display driver issue.  I have an all black screen (instead of all white) in Creative Cloud every time it updates
I fix it by running Creative Cloud in 256 colors once, installing updates, closing Creative Cloud and then running as normal.
    Short hand:
    Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\ACC\Creative Cloud.exe >
Properties > Compatibility > Check "Run in 256" > Run CC > Finish install > Close > Uncheck "Run in 256" > Run CC.
    Step-by-step:
Close all Adobe products (kill them in task manager)
    Right Click C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\ACC\Creative Cloud.exe
    Select "Properties"
    Select "Compatibility" tab
Under "Settings," check "Run in 256 colors"
    Apply
    Run C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\ACC\Creative Cloud.exe
You should be able to see all the options now, complete the update, then close Creative Cloud
Close all Adobe products (kill them in task manager)
    Right Click C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\ACC\Creative Cloud.exe
    Select "Properties"
    Select "Compatibility" tab
Under "Settings," uncheck "Run in 256 colors"
    Apply
    Run C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\ACC\Creative Cloud.exe

  • Adobe Creative Cloud Window Blank and Does not Prompt for Login?

I have three computers right now. One 2010 iMac, one 2012 Macbook Pro and a new 2014 Macbook pro. I have logged out and uninstalled creative cloud from the iMac. After buying the new MacBook Pro (2014) I have used the 2012 laptop to copy my entire user profile onto the newer laptop (including Adobe applications and creative cloud). However, when I try to open a Premiere project from the external drive I have been working off of, I get this message:
Adobe Application Manager is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the Application manager from 'http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager'.
When I go to that link, I get a prompt to download creative cloud (not application manager). I of course download Creative Cloud again and am given the steps to install but once the Creative Cloud installation progress bar finishes up and CC opens up, the window is blank and I am not asked to login or do anything. I cannot access any projects or login to my CC account on this new computer whatsoever.
I have deleted the opm.db file in the "OOBE" folder and I have restarted the application. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have restarted my computer. I have tried everything for the past few hours and have made absolutely no progress.
I am pretty stressed about this as the projects I have to work on are time sensitive. Any help would be greatly appreciated as customer chat support just left me on hold for close to an hour and I have not found a solution in the forums.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks John,
I actually found a post after another hour or so looking that pointed out the same potential problem that you did, but thank you for your help anyways.
I actually found some steps that someone had posted from their conversation with customer service. I've pasted it below. Hopefully it will help another lost and weary traveler as much as it did me.

  • Why is my Creative Cloud window blank?

My Creative Cloud window is completely blank. I can't view my apps or even login. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the CC but it didn't work. I have a Mac.

Marlowe I would love if you could share what the support told you. Cause I tried everything I could find online, incl deleting the OOBE folder. I don't have any special characters in my account details. I use 10.9.4 ..

  • My Creative Cloud is blank(windows)

When I open my Creative Cloud to download the free trials it is just blank.
It has worked for Illustrator, but with the free trial for photoshop or Indesign doesnt work.
I tried deleting or changing the opm.db file but it wont let me because it says its opened in the Cloud...which it isnt...
    I use windows 8.
    Please Help.

I have Windows 7 Premium, but maybe this will help with your Windows 8.
I've tried all the following solutions in many posts to no avail, except for creating new windows account. New account was the only way for it to work and I did not want that.
I finally figured out the root of all evil. The ampersand in Windows user folder name (not the Windows displayed user name).
If you have ampersand (&) or other non-alphabet characters in windows user folder name (Example: C:\Users\Bob & Mary), then Flash Builder will fail to install (happened to me), Creative Cloud will display white screen, and/or other miscellaneous problems.
I confirmed this to be true and works:
    1) I had blank Creative Cloud window as shown in the first post.
    2) I renamed the display username and window user folder name by doing the instructions here:
       http://www.ghacks.net/2011/03/28/how-to-change-a-windows-account-name- and-user-profile-folder-name/
(Example: Change from "Bob & Mary" to "Bob n Mary" - without the quotes)
    3) After logging back in my newly renamed account, I opened Creative Cloud and login interface shows up! :-)

  • Photoshop cs5 will not startup following creative cloud install. Creative cloud is blank?

    CCreative cloud will not reinstall!

S_Roddy I would removing all Adobe Creative software titles and then using the CC Cleaner Tool to ensure complete removal. You can find instructions for the use of the CC Cleaner tool at Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
If you don't actively use CS5 you may want to consider leaving it uninstalled.
