Creative Cloud is unable to extract premiere pro after downloading...help please?
I have just downloaded a trial of premiere pro on the creative cloud but it is repeatedly failing to extarct the program after several attempts.
I have checked the space required for the program and that's okay so I dont know why this is happening.
If anyone could provide a suggestion on what to do it would be appreciated.

Check to see if your system meets the minimum requirements. Other have reported that if it doesn't, then PPRO will not show in the list.

It's under Start > All Programs > Adobe Premiere Pro CC at first. After first launch, windows will remeber it as a recent program and it will be easier to see.
As for why it's not responding... try all the obvious stuff, like force quit/restart/relaunch. Then check your specs and make sure they meet the requirements. After that, it may require some troubleshooting with tech support to find out why things did not install correctly for you.
And, to be clear, installing the tirial is essentially the same as installing the full retail version. The main difference is that you will ge tthat trial dialog each time you launch and it will time out after 30 days if you don't activate by then. -

Hi Jeff: thanks for getting back to me. My daughter was downloading
components but had downloaded the free demo last night. She
uninstalled what she thought was the demo but now we are unable to
access the Premier Pro component and no icon is present on the screenor
otherwise. This is our first time with a Mac so maybe we just don't
know where it is but are at a loss right now. Thinking I should
cancel my product purchase and then start from scratch if there is no
easy solution.

I've downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro trial twice to see if the second time would work since the first didn't seem to. When I downloaded it twice, it says I was downloading the Adobe Premiere Pro family package and after downloading it, it said that the program was ready for use. I went to my start menu and search the program and all I got was the adobe premiere pro cs6 files and the picture of the purple cd and the set up and etc. Can someone please help me?
PS: I had downloaded it from the adobe website not from adobe creative cloud.It won't even let me uninstall it. it says that my uninstallation encountered errors and when i click on the error summary idk what it means

Opening Premiere Pro after Download
I downloaded Premiere Pro CC the other day, I can open Cloud from my desktop, but when I try to open Premiere, it says it cannot open and windows cannot figure out the problem.
I have a Dell Latitude E6430 with Windows 7 on it. Any guesses on how to get the program to open?Is that a laptop... and does it have two graphics adapters?
Go to the Windows Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound and then select Device Manager... In Device manager you click the + sign to the left of Display Adapters... and see if 2 are listed

Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?

The complimentary access was given to me by my University, sent by email. Only a pdf was included which stated I had to sign in to the redeem page first, then I would get another email with the code. It hasn't turned up and it's already been more than 24 hours. Any help would be really appreciated!
You have 20 Gb of space allocated to you. It symbolizes that you have an active CC. You just need to download the creative cloud & activate it with this Email ID of yours.
CC mostly asks for serial number if:
1. There is no CC registered to the ID with which you had signed.
2. There are entries of Adobe in Host files of the computer.
3. The activation count has exceeded.
In you case most probably it should be reason no.2 if you have already download CC.

Unable to install Premiere Pro update 7.1
I've been unable to install Premiere Pro update 7.1 on a Mac running Mavericks. I've made three attempts over as many days.
For what it may reveal, here is the install log. Any ideas?
[Please don't post full longs to the user forum.]Try using the "adobe cleaner tool" (you'll find it online) to uninstall Premiere Pro. Reboot. Install Premiere Pro with the creative cloud panel from the apps list. It should work fine

I am Professional Wedding Video Editor. before that i was using Pinnacle Studio 14 and Canopus Edius Pro but these Sucks, Now i have Intel Core i7 Extreme 64 bit OS and using Windows 7. I just Buye the Adobe Creative Suite 5. and soon i will Upgrade to Adobe CS5.5 . this is the Great Video Editing Software i Ever Seen. But i found some standard Dissolve & wipe Transitions in it.
My Question is that can i Use 3rd Party Creative Video Effects & Transitions with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5?
i want to know about thier names. that has Great transitions and smooth Transitions ever.

WaseemOnce, one could use the Hollywood FX Transitions (available from Pinnacle), but I believe that as of about CS4, that is no longer possible, but since Zac did not mention it (also, I think that Pinnacle no longer works with Hollywood FX, and they might be history?), I assume that CS5/CS5.5 does not support them either.
Pixelan (mentioned above) is a great resource for Transitons, and I recommed them highly.
I also have ProDAD's Adorage, but do not use those that often.
My normal Transitions are just Butt-cut, Cross-Dissolve and Dip-to-Black.
