Creative Cloud License Question

Hello chaps,
I've purchased a creative cloud membership which I've been using at home for my freelance work / studying.
I also have a full time job which requires some light use of Photo/Video Editing / Illustrator, at the moment I use old boxed versions / other software which do the job just fine but if it's OK I would like to install the creative cloud on my works PC (who do not have a creative cloud license) and use my account there.
As far as I'm aware It's OK providing if I leave the company I take the license with me?

Hi Elbethel and John,
A ccording to New End User License Agreement, You can install any Adobe License be it CC or CS6, on two machines.
Which means your CC can be active on two machine at a time, but you can not use both machine at the same time.

I know there's plans for Creative Cloud. I want to know if there's any way to have a permanent Creative Cloud license (Adobe Photoshop CC, Flash Professional CC, Premier CC, and so on). Thank you!

The last perpetual license version was CS6... new versions are Cloud only

I need to transfer a new Adobe Cloud license from our main Adobe ID to another Adobe ID we created as they need to be managed separatly.

Following up, David answered this question via PM:
"This kind of process wouldn't apply to Creative Cloud because ownership works differently. I was looking here http://www.adobe.com/misc/terms.html in the 6. Use of Service and Materials section and noted it does reference the service as being non-transferable."
So with Creative Cloud for Individuals the memberships can't be transferred – but (per this related thread) you can easily move memberships around between users with Creative Cloud for Teams instead:

Creative cloud licenses, forgot to deactivate one and formatted the drive.

I recently put one of my creative cloud licenses on a Lenovo laptop. My other is on my MacBook which I use primarilly.
My Lenovo was malfunctioning, so I took it in to exchange it and formatted the drive, not thinking that I should deactivate my applications.
My question is, will I be able to use my second license now on my new computer?

Also the process is different for subscription users so we can not just allocate an additional activation as can be done with our perpetual versions.

Photography Creative Cloud License moving to new desktop machine

Good morning all. I have an Adobe Creative Cloud license for Photography. I have two licenses that are currently in use - one on my desktop and one on my MacBook Pro. I am building a new desktop machine this weekend and deactivating the old one. Will I be able to install the programs on my new machine without issue, or will I have to do something else to allow the license to move over to the new machine?

Prelude CS6 thinks it needs Creative Cloud license ...

Hi,
The question is in the title. For some reason I can't run Adobe Prelude CS6 anymore.
I got it with Master Collection CS6.
At some point I tried Create Cloud for free, but now Prelude (and I think one other app) thinks I should get a Creative Cloud license ...
Not sure what to do. Don't want to reinstall everything again. Not even sure reinstalling Master Collection is enough, maybe Windows (Seven) needs to be reinstalled as well?

I've paid for Creative Cloud license but the programs won't open

I purchased the Creative Cloud license already a few moths ago but now all of a sudden the programs won't open (until this some of them have been apparently running as trials). When I try to open the program the Adobe Application Manager pops up and tells me to license the software. When I click it to continue and logg in it says "Creative cloud will now be licensed for _myemailadress_. Click continue to enjoy the software." But when I click continue nothing happens and when I try to open the program again App manager opens up again and tells me to license the software and so on. I've tried to look for a solution but nothing seems to work. I have a MacBook pro OSX 10.6.8.
Any ideas? Should I try to update my whole computer? My laptop is old and slow so I am a bit afraid everything will disappear if update it.
All ideas I should try are warmly excepted! I am getting desperate and need the software up and running ASAP.

Inarinainari please reinstall the Adobe Application Manager by utilizing the steps listed at Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop.html. The Adobe Application Manager has been rolled into the Creative Cloud Desktop application which is why the referenced document refers to the Creative Cloud Desktop application as opposed to the Adobe Application Manager. Since you are running Mac OS 10.6.8 it is not possible for you to run this later version.

No. Your Creative Cloud desktop applications (such as Adobe® Photoshop® and Illustrator®) are installed directly on your computer, so you won't need an ongoing Internet connection to use them on a daily basis.
An Internet connection is required the first time you install and license your desktop apps, but you can use the apps in offline mode with a valid software license. The desktop apps will attempt to validate your software licenses every 30 days.
For annual members, you can use the apps for up to 99 days in offline mode. Month-to-month members can use the software for up to 30 days in offline mode.

You can install one single license of a Creative Cloud on upto 2 machines. CC is a platform independent product so you can use it on both Windows & Mac but make sure that you are not using it at the same time.

The license allows YOU to install on a 2nd computer... it does not allow someone else to use your license

I do not know how it is done, but you MAY be able to buy her a regular subscription and pay with your credit card... just not the Education version that has strict requirements
