Creative Cloud locked up and had to Uninstall. Upon reinstall it initializes and downloads 2/3 but then stops every time. How to remedy this?
After running cleaner tool, follow below steps :
End all Adobe process from Task Manager .
1) Open Control Panel and Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features .
Under Program and Features list,If present remove Adobe Creative Cloud option.
2) Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
3) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.
4) Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.
appdata
Then navigate to Local>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.
5) Click on the below link and download Adobe Application Manager and install the same.
Once the installation process is completed , it will create shortcut icon on Desktop.
Double click on it and update, it will get updated to Creative Cloud :

I am getting error 205 while trying to install Creative Cloud. I already had chated with support, Uninstalled CC and tried to install it again. From the Adobe site, the page keeps loading eternally, from the previous installer, it gives me error 205. What to do? Give up on CC?

got macbook stolen, got creative cloud on the stolen mac. Got myself a new mac and installed creative cloud on that computer. How can i lock the creative cloud membership on the stolen mac. I do not have iCloud on the stolen mac.
And will the thievs be able to purchase things from itunes or adobe with my cardinfo? I have a password who comes up overtime i download anything, but i never used itunes on buying things. I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC (together with the Apps) doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. I installed a creative Cloud a month ago for a free trial. Last week, i bought a licence of Lightroom 5. Now, how can i install and register my licence of Lightroom 5 on my computer?
That creative cloud installation of Lightroom will have to be uninstalled. It cannot be activated with the serial number you have. You can download the trial version from one of these two websites, and activate it with your serial number:
Adobe - Lightroom : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1
Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1
You will not lose any of the work you may have done using the trial version. In the future, when posting questions it would really help if you would identify your operating system and other pertinent computer information. -

CC is for retail use with 20 GB of storage space, CCT is where number of seats are purchased & assigned by one program admin where each seat gets 100GB of storage space.
You can not have both the CC & team in one account as it will only provide you added storage space of 120 GB but you can activate the CC any of them or either of them twice as CC is based on Adobe ID.

The dropdown menu from the Creative Cloud icon on the menu bar keeps giving me the following message: "Download Error" I quit and restarted the creative cloud app to no avail. Running Mavericks on a mid 2011 iMac.
Try below steps once
click Gear icon on the top Right corner and Quit Creative Cloud App
Click on Finder and then hold Command + Shift + G keys on your keypad
It will open Go to folder window, type exactly ~/Library and click on Go
Make sure to open ~/Library not /Library ( there will be two Library folders )
Then open Application Support > Adobe folders
Trash AAMUpdater and OOBE folders.
Then launch Creative Could and check. -
I have the photographer plan With Photoshop and Lightroom. Now suddenly The creative cloud app says that Lightroom isn´t installed. It is and how do i fix this. I don´t want to loose any pictures. Tried logging in and out. Also restarted my Imac with no luck.
This has nothing to do with your pictures. As long as LR works, nothing happens. The CC app merely has lost an entry in the installer database. Would a reinstall fix it? Sure. Is it necessary? Not really (until the next version or update). So unless you have too much time to spend or something isn't working, I'm sure you can find more interesting things to do with your tiem. Otherwise use the cleaner tool and get to it:

When I click on apps in Creative Cloud (via taskbar icon) it shows only Photoshop CC as installed and Lightroom as something to be installed! I already have LR 5.7 installed and this has been updated through CC. I dont understand why it's now showing as it needs to be installed!?!? It wasn't like this the last time I looked.

Using Elements 12 for a year and had to uninstall and reinstall on same computer. Going to the Editor I got a message that I had to sign in and register the product (again) but I got a message that the computer was offline or the clock was wrong, there was nothing wrong with either of these. How do I get my Elements 12 working again?

I had some problems with ITunes and had to uninstall but now when I reinstall iTunes after I click on download iTunes and save the File, I get this message"Thank you for downloading iTunes" and nothing else happens. I don't see any thing else. Now not sure what else I have to do.
