Creative cloud needs password??

every time I start my computer, creative cloud asks me for my password to do updates?
Any suggestions. It has never dones this before and only after the last uopdate.

Please just place the original opm.db file on the desktop
Exit Creative Cloud app.
On Windows remove the opm.db file located here: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
On Mac remove the opm.db file located here: <user>\Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE
Restart Creative Cloud Connection and sign in.

Please try to update CC desktop: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and let us know

Have you tried creating a new administrator account, logging out of your current account and into the new one to see if the behavior persists? Having to sign in and register that many times seems like something is not getting saved or changed properly when you complete the process.

Also, I've heard that changing your Adobe ID password has made a difference in some rare cases.

Creative Cloud Installer password

I'm trying to update the my software on the Creative Cloud Installer, but it wants me to type in my password. Is this my Mac password or my Adobe ID password? It won't take either of my passwords, and I've had issues in the past with my keychain

Creative cloud needs creative cloud to install

I am in a you need creative cloud loop. I try to install creative cloud and there is a message that opens during installation that says get creative cloud.
Its a loop that repeats and never goes anywhere

My Creative Cloud needs an update, but says there is no internet connection, and disconnects shortly after. What can I do?

I wanted to install my creative cloud in order to access indesign. Although when I click download, it tells me to update the programme. So I do. And then it starts loading, but ends shortly after, telling me to check my internetconnection. The connection is absolutely fine, no problem, but it just won't install the update. This means that I can't use the creative cloud AT ALL, because none of the programmes I could be using will work due to the missing update. SIGH!!

Adobe Photoshop in 'creative cloud' need language change, Please Help!!

I have Adobe Photoshop in 'Creative Cloud', It's in English and I want to change the language in Dutch. Please Help!!
I just started out with Photoshop on my mac. So every instruction I learned so far (not much) is in dutch. Can anyone provide me with some instructions!

Creative Cloud needs Captivate

Is Adobe considering adding Captivate to Creative Cloud? There's a lot of discussion about this in the forum. Although I am a subscriber to CC, I would not have subscribed had I known that Captivate was not included. I am unlikely to renew unless Captivate is a part of CC.

DW Creative Cloud Need better user instructions

Hello,
I just joined CC cloud yesterday hoping to get the fluid grid updates unavailable to CS6 users. Unfortunately the site I was working on in CS6 crashes in CC. I understand the issue has something to do with media queries and my site had several- so I tried starting over. My problem is the interface is dramatically different and I cannot find comprehensive instructions. It was my understanding the upgrade allowed the fonts (h1 tags etc) to resize. The sizes do not automatically adjust, nor to they adjust if I inspect desktop,tablet,mobile and change the size in each view using the property inspector. I do not know how to write and attach a CSS file to attach and make changes for different device sizes. Are there any in depth instructions available? I also have a dmx zone slideshow I need to embed and a jquery script that collapses the menu and displays an icon on the mobile page etc. I can't even get past the basics at this point and have no idea how to approach more complex issues. I have watched the 2 videos available.

Creative Cloud User Password

I have sent users invites to join my CC Team, they except and it asks them for a password. Where do I set CC users passwords?

If the Email ID from which the invite to CC Team has been accepted is being used for the first time for Adobe products & you have not set the password , then do click on the option "Trouble signing in",
it will resend a password reset link to the email ID .
In this way the password can be obtained.

Is it true Creative Cloud is only needed if renting Adobe software?

I do not rent any Adobe programs. I own a copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro IX, and Elements.
Since these programs are not rented; then is it correct Creative Cloud is useless here?
The Apple computer I use has Creative Cloud always coming up at start up. Is Creative Cloud needed for updates to programs that are not rented but owned?
If unnecessary, what's the best way to delete it from an Apple computer? OS X Yosemite 10.10.3

What I have learned is:
Cannot sign into Creative Cloud. Did not accept my sign in. Ask to reset password. Did not receive any email to reset password for Creative Cloud sign in. So I cannot sign in to Creative Cloud. That means I cannot set it to not come up at computer start.
Using OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
Went to System Preferences --> Users & Groups --> Login Items.
Creative Cloud is not listed there. That means it cannot be unselected as an item that comes up with computer start up.
None of my Adobe software is rented. So I don't need Adobe's Creative Cloud except for automatic updates. And automatic updates causing unexpected slow down of computer is annoying.
So I will uninstall Creative Cloud here:
Macintosh HD --> Applications --> Adobe Creative Cloud --> Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud
Will let you know if anything bad happens.

You've got to be kidding creative cloud update

I have been getting those annoying errors every time creative cloud needs to update. The workaround supplied by Adobe is to uninstall the CC desktop app and run the cleaner. Fine but it happens every time there is an update to the CC desktop app. To make matters worse, this time upon reinstalling the app when I start any off the apps get a message telling me I need to register my trial version. I've signed in with my ID what else do I need to do to use the software? If I can't more time using my applications and less time fixing them then it is not worth paying the $600 a year!

Sick to death of it to be honest. Adobe are taking the piss and they need to get a grip of the situation. Every single time without fail the following errors were encountered, failed to install.
Do you know I wouldn't care, adobe can stick their crap app and updates up their jacksee, but I cannot actually use the bloody thing until its updated.
I am fed up of loosing an hour or mores work everytime this peice of junk decides its got to update. Adobe hire some people that are capable.
Perhaps they should start refunding customers, theres an idea they can take to the board.

Explorer and Computer freezes after installation of Creative Cloud

First I had a hard time installing the programs, because the downloads always froze and I had to do it over and over. From the first start of the adobe application manager my computer were stopping, froze in and did not shut down anymore. And I have trouble using the internet, because my explorer is freezing all the time, too. Than I have to restart the whole system, until it freezes again. And the Computer as always been resetted the hard way, what brings up the Windows "the computer did not shut down..." screen and is really anoying.
System HP with 10 Gigs Memory, Intel I7 quad processor, 3600 mhz, Windows 7, NVIDIA 620

No issus with Win 7 before, no error messages. The computer starts normal, stays normal, as long as I do not use one of the Adobe products. I can start all programs, work with the programs, go into the internet, shut it down normal. As soon as I work with a application from adobe, I can use the programs, work with them , but as soon, as I try to go to the internet, i get no connection. Shutting down does not work, the computer freezes on the "shutting down" screen. Disconect power, start again, I can find no other reason than the Adobe Application manager, but creative cloud needs this thing on to work. As long as this thing is not in use, every thing is normal. I was trying ti re-install , but it did not change. The manager also keeps to "forget" my Adobe ID and is asking for it over and over.

Although you could use Photoshop & Lightroom to create a photo album for the web, I personally prefer jQuery plugins.
Cycle2 alone or with Fancybox might be all you need. Just copy & paste this code into a new, blank document. Change thumbnails & images to your own.

Creative cloud is asking for administration privileges without explanation What should I do?

Almost every day, a little window pops up on the right side of my Mac screen saying Creative cloud needs administration privileges without explaining anything else. It's annoying. Should I turn it off in preferences?, ignore?, or take some type of action?
