Creative Cloud not launching

Hi, Just installed update... and now, app won't launch -just sends me to my web browser on whatever page I had open last!  Help, I've got work to do and need to get typekit installed!

    Do you mean you are trying to sync files from Creative Cloud to mobile and it doesn't work? I don't know much about Lightroom. It's better to ask your question at Photoshop Lightroom.

    Lightroom Mobile is not a cloud storage service. You shouldn't treat it as a way of backing up your files. You are merely storing Smart Previews of your files in the cloud space, high-quality JPEGs of your files regardless of their original format on your desktop. The point is that they are there so you can continue editing them in a Lightroom-like environment even while away from your desktop/laptop computer. The files in Lightroom Mobile can only be used in Lightroom Mobile.
    This is very different from what is offered by the Creative Cloud storage, which can be used to synchronize your files between any device (that can support the individual files).
    The vast difference in how each service works and its intended use is why they are separate.

    Anyone else haveing trouble with Creative Cloud not opening? All I get is the splash screen and the :loading: symbol that keeps going around and around---forever.
    This just started ---.
    I am running Windows 8 on an i7 machine with 16 gigs of RAM. My internet connection is good---all other internet access opens just fine.

    Welcome to the Community!
    A12E5 is a download error. Please follow the mentioned steps:
    Mac:
    Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old .
    Navigate to Applications/Utilities and trash Application Manager and Creative Cloud desktop folder.
    Download and install CC desktop again. If still the issue persists then restart Mac in safe boot and try installing again: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/start-safe-boot-mode-mac.htm l .

  • Book files stored in Creative Cloud not syncing

    Hi everyone!
    We are working on a project that is stored in Creative Cloud to take advantage of collaborative workflow. Everything is working fine so far.
    I've just created a book and added a few files so that I can sync styles, master pages, etc. This is working flawlessly on my end so far.
    The problem comes when another teammate tries to open the book file I've created on his/her end. The book opens but it is empty (no documents listed at all). However if a send the book file to them via email or store it on a network drive and they open it everything works perfect.
    So the problem seems to be related with Creative Cloud not syncing the book files properly. Any clue on the matter? We must store the project files on Creative Cloud so work from a network drive is not an option for us.

    Yeah, you are absolutely right, we are using Google Drive for pretty much everything else, is way more faster, more reliable and is full featured (how about download entire folders Adobe or zero errors when syncing, Adobe?). And on top of this is cheaper (way more is you ask me).
    Sadly, we really MUST work in Adobe CC for this particular project so no scape here.

    I am having the same issue.  I can't uninstall.  I get the following message" Couldn't uninstall Creative Cloud for Desktop.  Creative Cloud applications installed on your computer require it to function correctly.
    Attached is the spinning I get with no applications visible.  I can't update anything.  It's been spinning like this for four days.

    If it is Mac , follow below steps :
    OR
    1) Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option.
    2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.( Do not miss ~ symbol)
    ~/library
    3)Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe.
    Right click on Adobe folder and select "GetInfo" option.
    Expand the Sharing & Permissions section.
    Click the lock icon in the lower-right corner. Enter your administrator user name and password when prompted, and then click OK.
    Please click on '+' symbol , Add currently logged in user name and user named named Administrator.
    Click the Gear icon, and select Apply to Enclosed Item. Close the Get Info dialog box.
    Then try to install Creative Cloud

    I have the trial version of Creative Cloud.  I was able to launch at time of down load but can not now.  I have tried several times to get tech support from Adobe.  They are now telling me because it is the trial version they can't help me.  Really??? How do I know if I want to take on a year contract?  Any help?

  • Why will Creative Cloud not update on my laptop?

    When I open the Creative Cloud app, I receive the message an update is available, and have the choice of updating or immediately quitting the app. So I choose update, and halfway through, receive a message that another version of creative cloud is running and needs to be terminated to continue. However, it seems according to my icons, and task manager, only the installer is running. Yet when I hit retry, nothing happens, and of course when I close the installer, everything closes. If I choose not to update, the CC app does immediately quit, so at the moment it is completely non-functional.
    Is this a bug? Any suggestions?

    Please follow this step to fix the issue.
    When you launch Task manager please look for AAM Updater Notifier and quit that process. Once done then please try updating AAM to CC Desktop App and it should work.
    In case if the above mentioned step doesnt work then please rename OOBE folder to OOBE.old from this location.
    Windows:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
    C:\Users\(Your Username)\Appdata\Local\Adobe
    Mac:
    Library\Application Support\Adobe
    ~\Library\Application Support\Adobe
    Please download CC Desktop App from https://creative.adobe.com and it should work.
