Creative Cloud not seeing installed Apps

After experiencing the A12E1 error when attempting CC update, I found a solution on the Forum, which was to basically remove folders, run cleanertool and donwload & re-install the Creative Cloud app.
That fixed the error problem, however, after signing into my account, the CC app indicates that I haven't downloaded any apps and does not recognize anything that was previously installed.
I'm concerned that this will affect any updates to those apps in future and wonder if there is a way to have CC 'scan' for installed apps or sync with my account somehow.
Thanks in advance if anyone has a solution,
Alan

Thanks Mylenuim,
I checked pref's and North American English is checked and I have to assume that is was the installing language as well.
I pointed the "install Location" to my Applications folder and rebooted, but that didn't do anything at all.
Any other ideas? Any Adobe ppl have a solution?

My new apps have changed to try within creative cloud; and my installed apps will not authenticate.  I recently canceled one subscription and replaced it with another.  Can you please look at it and correct?

Solution for Windows 8.1: Locate the C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder.  Log out of Creative Cloud and from Task Manager end task for Creative Cloud.  From the OOBE folder delete ALL files.  Do not delete folders (com.adobe.accc.apps & com.adobe.accc.home).  When complete, restart Creative Cloud and log in with ID and Password.

  • Creative Cloud not see the license of Adobe ID

Hello, I have a problem. I started studying at the British School of Art and Design  and we were issued a license for 1 year Creative Cloud Suite. I activate the license as it was written in the manual and in the settings of my account Adobe ID indicated that activated license for 1 year (Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition (one-year)). But Creative Cloud all products are only activated for 30 days.Creative Cloud was installed after the activation of the license.

go to Creative Cloud desktop and verify that you're connected with the correct Adobe ID ( That contains the subscription ).

  • Creative Cloud not loading the 'Apps' page

Recently downloaded Creative Cloud and everytime I go onto the Apps link to look at the Apps I can download it just gives me a loading screen. And it doesn't budge from that. I have tested my internet connection and it is working fine (around 20 mbps) so is there anyway I can get around this? As I need Creative Cloud for my University work. I am using MAC OS X MAVERICKS.
    Thank you.

  • Creative Cloud not showing my apps.

I need help with this. When I try to bring up the list of installed applications on my machine, it says "Download Error." It has been doing this for two days.
My previous question about this issue asked last night was deleted. I need help please.

I don't want to have to do that every time I want to update an app. Isn't there an easier way or can adobe at least release a fix?

  • Creative Cloud is not acknowledging installed apps, is there a solution?

Creative Cloud is not acknowledging installed apps since the upgrade, all I am seeing is "install" or "try" buttons even for the apps already on my system. Nothing under "installed apps"
    I tried this:

but no luck. Everything is in the default locations. Is there a solution?

  • App in Creative Cloud Not Showing Up

I accessed the download manager and installed Adobe Acrobrat X from it - but I still can't see the app in my creative cloud list. When I re-open the app download manager, Acrobat is showing as "installed" but I can't access the program through the cloud. Please help! Thanks.

    Hi Scovey,
For Acrobat X you have to install it through the Adobe Application Manager and you have to uninstall any prior versions
Uninstall Acrobat X in Mac OS®
In Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers, select the Acrobat X Uninstaller and double-click it.
Follow the onscreen instructions to uninstall Acrobat.
In the Authenticate dialog box, type the user name and password for an administrator account and click OK.
Note: The uninstaller removes only Adobe Acrobat X files from the system.  It does not remove Adobe Reader files, Acrobat user data, or files that are shared with other Adobe applications.
(Optional) Move any Adobe PDF Settings files that you created from the Library/Application Support/Adobe PDF folder and drag the folder to the Trash.
    Uninstall Acrobat X in Windows®
Open Control Panel > Programs and Features (Vista/Win 7) or Add/Remove Programs (XP)
Find the entry for Acrobat X, select it
Click Uninstall and follow the on screen instructions
    This doc describes the issue:
Acrobat shows as "Installed" in the Adobe Application Manager after uninstalling.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cant-install-acrobat-aam.html
After you uninstall the option to install should be available in Adobe Application Manger
