Creative Cloud notification ends keynote presentation

Hi,
Has anyone had this occur: in the middle of a keynote presentation, and then have it terminated by a creative cloud login notification? While I wasn't presenting publicly when this happened, I've now had to make sure that I quit Creative Cloud before presenting so that it can never do this again.
Bug?

Since your end result is PowerPoint, you should ask Microsoft how to use PowerPoint to import your pictures

You have 3 CC under same Adobe ID out of which one purchased on has expired, you are getting notification due to this.

The other two are active, however it is advisable to have one CC under one Adobe ID.

  • Creative Cloud notification "Administration rights are required-" but nowhere to enter credentials

I told Creative Cloud (the menubar balloon) to go ahead and install CC 2014 updates, and left the computer to update. Later, I had to reboot the computer due to a power failure (all items now show as "Up to date" in the Apps tab). But I'm getting Notifications every 10 seconds saying, "Creative Cloud. Administration rights are required to complete Adobe Add-ons installation or removal." I'm happy to provide those credentials, but there is nowhere to type them! I've looked in all the tabs in the Creative Cloud balloon, and displayed all windows (so it's not hidden under something else).
SOLUTION: I quit Creative Cloud, then opened Creative Cloud again. The notifications are no longer displaying, and applications are all up to date. Apparently something was confused by the power outage.

  • When Creative Cloud Subscription Ends

I have the CS4 creative suite and just want to upgrade to CS6 after effects.  If I buy a month of creative cloud to upgrade to CS6 will I lose the software when the month ends?  I really just want after effects CS6 and want to know the best way to do that without having to join creative cloud forever.
    Thanks

Adobe still sells perpetual licenses of CS6.  I advise you to get one until you fully understand the full implications of going cloud-only.  Since this is the AE forum, here is the most germane implication:  any project file created under AE Creative Cloud can only be opened by AE Creative Cloud software.
Adobe is cutting people some slack by allowing current CC project files to be opened in CS6.  However, that WILL NOT last forever.... and at the moment, no one is saying how long that access will last.
Thus, you have a choice to make:  keep up with After Effects in the Creative Cloud by paying the monthly fee, or eventually risk losing access to your project files should you ever decide to discontinue your Creative Cloud subscription.
    Hence my recommendation.

  • Every time I update Creative Cloud, I end up losing data or I am told that I have no more space availale. What am I being charged monthly for this service? If so I'd like to quit.

Anybody here work for the company on here?

It's really not clear what you are asking. "Losing data" means what exactly...? Your online storage? Local settings? Files? You need to explain better and provide the necessary info like system details or what updates you are referring to.

  • Why do i not have Adobe Presenter in my Creative Cloud subscription

I was under the believe, that you get everything, in one neat monthly payment - this doesn't appear to be the case, as I can't see Adobe Presenter!

    Hi Wayne
Presenter isn't part of Creative Cloud and can be purchased as a separate subscription or a perpetual license

  • Unable to unsubscribe from my Creative Cloud subscription.

Attempting to unsubscribe from my Creative Cloud subscription, I am presented with the following form error alert:
We're sorry, something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later.
I have attempted this both in Firefox and Chrome with the same result in each.

Hi - thanks for reporting this.  I have gone ahead and stopped your membership.  You will continue to have access until 27 May, 2013.

  • Creative Cloud prepay

I am currently paying monthly for Adobe Creative Cloud. As a student with financial instability, I hate monthly payments, and I was thrilled to see that there is now a prepay option. The only problem is that it is a limited offer. My Creative Cloud Subscription ends in about a month and I want to take the prepay option. I am just worried that the prepay option will be gone when the time for my renewal comes around. Am I able to purchase Creative Cloud with the prepay option now, and then have that membership activate when my current subscription runs out?

Your present CC ends on June 22nd 2014, the offer that you have mentioned is limited time offer(As you have mentioned it)(Membership plans: Pricing and subscriptions | Adobe Creative Cloud)
The best option would be buy the limited time offer now & cancel the present subscription. You can use the present subscription till June 22nd.Then you just need to sign out & sign back in of the CC Desktop app to activate the new yearly CC.

  • Creative Cloud Desktop Won't Install Issues on Mac OS X 10.8.4

I recently upgraded from CS6 to CC.  First round of installs no problem.  A week later there were a few updates including the CC Destop App and this is where the fun begins.   I installed the updates and immediately after I noticed it was only showing I had 3 apps installed when I have several.  I tried uninstalling the CC Desktop app and re-installing it but I can't get it to install.  Every time I try it just says you have an "unknown error".  I called Adobe's awesome support to which we ran throught diganostics only at the end to tell me they are having issues and to call back later.  I have been all over the forums and have yet to find a solution, nothing works (Including runing the cloud cleaner and renaming the OOBE file).
I am running OS X 10.8.4 any other suggestions or help will be much appreciated

Romsinha! Thank you! I was having this problem and your instructions helped solve the issue.
    Hi iChrisChatt,
    Please try the mentioned steps:
    1. Navigate to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installer and look for CC desktop, if present run the uninstaller to uninstall it.
    2. Navigate to Applications/Utilities and look for Adobe Application Manager folder and Creative cloud folder. If present move to trash and empty it.
    3. Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old
    4. Download CC desktop from: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and try to install again.

  • Tweetdeck notifications VS Keynote

Is there a way to show tweetdeck notifications during Keynote presentations?

Keynote for iOS can edit and play Keynote presentations.
You need to be aware that not all the fonts, themes, master slides, builds, and transitions available on the Mac are available on iPad version.
Read this Apple Knowledge Base document:

  • BeHance Invite Will Not Update in Creative Cloud Menu App

I have the current version of Creative Cloud, and everyday when I power up my Mac, the same BeHance Invite appears and I reject it, but it will not go away. The request is from "Semih Turk" to join his Feedback Circle. I click to reject this invite and the notification in Creative Cloud goes away, but at the next startup, Creative Cloud shows the same notification to join Semih Turk's Feedback Circle. I have rejected this invite at least 10 times, and I am really tired of seeing the same notification everyday. I have changed my Adobe Creative Cloud preferences to stop receiving these invites and have also logged directly into BeHance and rejected it - BUT IT STILL APPEARS AS A CREATIVE CLOUD NOTIFICATION AT EVERY STARTUP.
NOTE: There is no active request from this person when I log into Behance.
Is this a bug in the CC Menu app? Why won't CC successfully update BeHance when I reject this invite?
I am going to report this bug with BeHance as well. Hopefully, BeHance and Creative Cloud will work together to figure out why this invite keeps appearing in Creative Cloud at startup, and why it will not go away.

Has no one still answered this? It has been almost an entire year since this was first reported. Collaboration invitation requests also do not go away, whether accepted or rejected, and keeps popping up regardless of which of my four computers I sign into.

  • Full Creative Cloud membership apps start as trials?

I have a new, fully-paid Creative Cloud membership, converted from a prior Creative Cloud month-to-month single app membership.
And I've built a new box, exclusively for Creative Cloud apps and primarily video processing using Premier Pro CC.
Using Adobe Application Manager ( Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Windows : Adobe Application Manager -- which installs as Creative Cloud ) I've consolidated my CS single-use apps on two other computers and have installed Premier Pro CC on the new, Creative Cloud-only box.
So, after Premier Pro CC is installed, the Creative Cloud front end offers "Begin Trial" as the only way to start Premier Pro.
What gives? If I have a fully-paid CC membership, why am I being offered a "Trial" and am I going to be asked to "Buy" Premiere Pro CC when the trial's over?
    Very confusing...

  • Lightroom 5 With Lightroom Creative Cloud?

I have Lightroom 5 installed on my computer.  If I purchase a Creative Cloud version does that mean I will have two copies of Lightroom on my computer?  Can they share the same library at the same time?  If I later decide to end my Creative Cloud contract, can Lightroom 5 be used with the library that was used by the Creative Cloud version and would it read the photos that were modified with tools only available in the Creative Cloud version?
    Thanks!

I haven't gone to the Creative Cloud yet. However, I can tell you that Lightroom is the same program regardless of whether you have Lightroom 5 standalone or Lightroom 5 CC. The only thing that's different is the licensing. You will have to uninstall Lightroom 5 in order to install the version from the Creative Cloud. You will still be able to use the same catalog that you have been using, and everything should run normally. Lightroom will continue to be upgraded. Eventually I believe there will be a Lightroom 6. Historically, each new version has required a conversion of the catalog to a new updated format. If that happens to your CC subscription, that new catalog will not be usable with Lightroom 5. So you will have to start over at the point you left off. Other than that, you should have no problems.
I just happened across an article published by Adobe that explains what will happen if your creative cloud subscription ends:
What happens to Lightroom after my membership ends?

  • Is there a reviewable change log for Creative Cloud updates

This morning I received a Creative Cloud notification: "A new version of Creative Cloud is available. Update now?". Is there a log that tells us what has been modified so we know what is being installed? I prefer to know whats going on with my machine than just accepting any and all action buttons.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    MJ

Thank you Jeff. Have a great day!
