Creative Cloud - One ID for my Multiple Laptops?

i am looking into buying Creative Cloud for Photoshop and Lightroom, however I work on multiple desktops. Can one user ID enable me to log into my work on multiple desktops? Also, does the Photoshop cloud have the same functionality and the stand-alone?

You can have multiple installations of the software but it can only be activated on two machines.  You can only use one of the two machines at any given time.
I do not know if some functionality was removed from Photoshop prior to creating the Cloud version(s), but theoretically, the Cloud version will have the newest functionalities while the standalone will not gain any new features.

    Hi Guys
    I may have misunderstood all this Creative Cloud lark, but it seems good ol' Adobe doesn't miss a trick when it comes to revenue generation from it's hostages customers. I had hoped I could by-pass Creative Cloud because I prefered to keep my choice of how I pay for upgrades (i.e. keeping my money in the bank until an upgrade came out and then deciding when I needed to buy the upgrade!) I know Adobe thinks every business is turning over millions, but £46 pcm forever is an expense for a micro-SME (and goodness knows how much that'll be in a year or two), even taking into account I can get 60% off for the first year! Sorry for bleating on but I am an unhappy customer with all this.
    Anyway, my question is can I still install on both my PC and laptop if I subscribe to Creative Cloud?
    Apols for venting my spleen (and please correct me if I have completely misunderstood) but if this is the brave new world of web retail, I'll go back to paper and celluloid (oops, shows my age...)

    I purchased the Creative Cloud Photography Individual for $9.99 a month.  The photoshop tools do not compare to CS4, I can't click on the arrow to get to the other tools withing the set  and I get this error code: I get this error code: One or more files in the adobe application support folder, necessary for running photoshop are missing.  Please run the Photoshop installer and reinstall photoshop. and can't figure out how to get to the installer again!

    Recently my imac died, the hard drive somehow failed and never worked again, so I changed the hard drive completely. So when I reinstalled all my softwares, I download the creative cloud desktop app and started downloading the softwares and then noticed that everything was in TRIAL VERSION, I revise that my membership was not finished, and it was not, it ends in july but my creative cloud one year membership is not recongnized, even that I am logged in. PLEASE HELP

    I place the solution for the community since it took me almost 25 days to get it resolved, I really hope that this will be able to save you some time:
    My case> I logged in perfectly in my CC desktop app, the softwares recognize my account but not the one year suscription, so I was allways on trial version. This work for me>
    I had a chat conversation where a really nice Adobe helper that made me change my /etc/host file, and change it's content to something I would never understand, this:
    ### Host Database## localhost is used to configure the loopback interface# when the system is booting.  Do not change this entry.##127.0.0.1 localhost255.255.255.255 broadcasthost::1             localhost fe80::1%lo0 localhost127.0.0.1
    And also erase all the files in the Library/adobe/SLStore folder .

  • I purchased the Creative Cloud Photography Plan for 9.99 and I cannot gain access to Photoshop, just Lightroom. It worked for night I purchased it and now I cannot open up Photoshop.

    I have a laptop with a Windows operating system (not lucky enough to have a Mac) and as far the Adobe version, it's the plan for 9.99 that Adobe is offering.   I was under the impression that the Creative Cloud Photography Plan included Photoshop and Lightroom, the latest versions of both, because that's what it said when I purchased it.  I'm sorry my information is too limited or not detailed but, it's a pretty basic concern.     logical. fair. I can understand the confusion in policy  as another fine cloud service - DropBox - has a different model for increases in free storage amounts for one account = evangelism. As many policies as there are services probably.

    By using it for your own profession to be used only by you, you can choose between any option but to get the CC used by your staff or other member of the organisation, Team needs to be used.
    If you are using the retail for your own profession then you get 20GB or 2gb as per the individual plan purchased where as CCT with single seat with provide you access with 100GB of storage space.
