Creative Cloud options

Creative Cloud gives you the opportunity to use all adobe "complete" products, in exchange you pay a fee monthly? And by all products i mean:
Audition CC
Dreamweaver CC
InDesign CC
Photoshop CC
Acrobatic XI PRO
Flash Professional CC
Photoshop Lightroom
After Effects CC
Illustration CC
Premier PRO CC
Photoshop 12 elements (not quite interested in this one since i want to become a real good designer)

  • Is adobe acrobat pro included as a creative cloud option?

Is Adobe Acrobat Pro included as a creative cloud option? Looking to purchase about 5 licenses. What would be my best options? And what are the difference between by individual licenses per physical computer vs 5 Cloud licenses? Thank you

Yes, it is available either as a single subscription item or as part of the full subscription.
Explore Adobe desktop apps | Adobe Creative Cloud
You should contact Adobe Support thru chat to see what pricing they have for volume licensing.  It might be a savings over getting 5 individual subscriptions.
As far as license versus subscriptions go, the license provides a fixed cost/fixed version while the latter is a never-ending cost with an ever-updating version.

  • Premiere Pro non-Creative Cloud options

I use iDVD Pro for simple clip timelines but I'm tired of it. I'm looking for a video editing application
and a friend recommended Adobe Premiere (I already have PS6 and Adobe Bridge CS6).
All the Adobe Premiere online offers mention:
    a) a price per month, and b) a "Creative Cloud" subscription.
I want nothing to do with the cloud, and I'm not really interested in paying a monthly subscription.
Is there an option for me to pay a one-off fee for the software, use it whenever I please
and store the clips wherever  please?
    Sergio

to use the latest versions, you have to subscribe. if you want to buy it, you are limited to cs6 version.
    Creative Suite 6
can also look into premiere elements...

  • Objective Discussion of Creative Cloud Options?

I am merrily using my CS6 Suite (mostly Primiere, Photoshop, AE) but looming in the back of my mind is this choice I have to make since there will be no CS7.  Have received nothing from the company...not even promos even though I have licenses going back to Photoshop 2.  Not a good sign.
Has anybody ran across a thoughtful analysis of what it means to move from an installed Suite (I usually upgraded, sometimes skipped a version) to this Cloud thingy?  Personally having a hard time coming to grips with $50+/month for life so I am hoping there is something more reasonable than paying for stuff I am not going to use(?)
    Any blogs?  Magazine articles?

It is difficult to be totally objective, but I will try as best I can.
The subscription method was great for me, and terrible for others. It really is a very personal decision based on your business model, the type of work you do, the programs you use regularly and the programs you only use once in a blue moon.
And yes, people can attack Adobe and get your information. Apparently, easier than they should be able to.
Let's start with the "great for me" part.
I use Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat, Muse, Dreamweaver, Speedgrade (I will soon anyway), Illustrator, Audition and Bridge, And I probably need to figure out Prelude. I may one day figure out the Edge apps also.
I put my photos on Behance and Prosite and I plan on using the file storage for new projects.
Also, I can legally have the software on two computers at the same time and use both.Even if one is a PC and the other a Mac.
I pay a monthly fee. I never upgraded to CS4, or CS5.5. So to get these programs I would have had to pay a LOT of money up front. I could have, but chose not to. Yes, I may end up paying more this way since I can't just skip a version to save money. I don't have to upgrade but I have to pay.
I don't go back to old projects so if I stop paying Adobe it will not have an effect on me. I can either use other programs or start paying Adobe again.
As for the mature products, some of them are getting overhauls that might surprise you.
Let's address one more "great" option before we go the other way.
Adobe came out with a subscription model for photographers. Photoshop and Lightroom for only $9.99/month. That is a HUGE savings.
OK, time to talk about the evil Adobe empire.
If you stop paying you lose everything. Well, you lose the ability to work on your existing projects. The files still exist on your hard drive but you can't open the projects.
For some people that is horrible. They go back and work on older projects, especially corporate stuff all the time.
As I said, you may end up paying more this way.
And what if you only use one product? That costs $20/month. But if you use two or more and are not a teacher or student, or not a parent, child or spouse of one, you pay $50 per month whether you use any programs that month or not.
You pay and pay and you never actually own the right to use it. Stop paying and you are dead in the water 30 days later.
And what I consider the worst part? If you don't live in the United States you really get shafted on the price. Overseas customers pay a LOT more and not only due to taxes and fees. Adobe charges them more for reasons I can't comprehend.
Yes, there are other products from other companies. There are learning curves to consider, and for many, the Adobe Products have the necessary features that other programs do not have. But at what price?
As I said, it is a personal decision based on your business model, and the size of your wallet, and the amount of pain you can afford to deal with by changing products.
I can't quote actual numbers because the subscription model has me using more programs than I used to use. Even more than when I got it al free for being a beta tester, years ago.
All I can say is that I know it will cost more in the long run, it ties me to Adobe even more than before, and I was tied to Adobe pretty tightly. But the benefits outweigh the problems. For me.
You have to decide for you.

  • Option to Share Tag Templates via Creative Cloud unavailable.

During Jason Levine's Adobe Max session, "Sort, Select, Cut: Basic Logging, Ingesting, and Rough Cutting with Prelude (S2446)", he illustrates sharing and importing Tag Templates to/from Creative Cloud (see screenshot). For some reason, I am unable to do so; the Creative Cloud icons aren't even present in the "Tag" panel (see second screenshot). I am logged into Creative Cloud through the desktop app, and have restarted both Prelude and my system to no avail. I have also tried to "authenticate" my CC account the "Prelude/Cloud Metadata/Authenticate…" dropdown menu (third screenshot), but when I enter my username/password nothing happens. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
I am running Prelude CC 2014 (2014.2) under Mac OS X 10.10.2. Other CC services, such as the "Libraries" panel in Photoshop CC, are working / synching with CC. The problem seems to be limited to Prelude.
    Presented by Jason Levine (Adobe)

    Hi David,
Due to improvements to the Creative Cloud backend after the release of Prelude 3.0, the direct "share To Creative Cloud" option has been disabled. You can still share it to the Creative Cloud by using "Save As" and saving to the local Creative Cloud folder. The template will be automatically synced to your Creative Cloud account. You can also search in Spotlight on "TagTemplates" to find the folder that Prelude saves templates into by default, and copy and paste the template into the local Creative Cloud folder. This method avoids duplication in your Tag Template panel. We expect to resolve the issue between Prelude and Creative Cloud for direct sync in the next release. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks!

  • Really aggressive marketing campaign for creative cloud

today my Lightroom informed me that there is an update, and asked me if I would like to download the update. I answered "yes" and was taken to the Adobe website. But, instead of being taken to the Adobe Lightroom download page as has happened with all of the previous updates, this time I was taken to a page about creative cloud. I don't want creative cloud. I only want to update my desktop version. So I tried clicking on the way for the desktop version, which is hidden away down in the bottom right corner of the screen. And that takes me to create a cloud. So I tried going to downloads for Lightroom. And I get taken to creative cloud.
I eventually had to call up Adobe on the phone in order to be able to update my desktop version of Lightroom. I let the agent I spoke with know it was very annoying to be subject to this obviously aggressive marketing campaign for creative cloud. When we were done with the call I thanked him for helping me do on the phone what I couldn't do on the website.  I also let him know that  it seems like Adobe is trying very hard to steer people to be creative cloud option and away from the desktop option.  I also let him know that if Adobe ever does away with the desktop version and the creative cloud version is the only alternative I am gone as a customer. I will use Apple photos or some other product. I will not be forced into a subscription-based service against my will.

Have followed up with the customer via email. Working to resolve the problem.

  • Why does Premiere Pro not show in the Creative Cloud

I just bought the montly membership, paid, got the confirmation, but still Premiere Pro does not show in my Creative Cloud options - under audio/video it only shows  and Photoshop, Prelude and Audition.
When I use the link in the email confirmation that I received I can press 'getting started'.
This leads me to the online Creative Cload Download - when I scroll to Premiere Pro, click on download I go to the next page, but still the program does not show?
What should I do differently? I am logged in already.
    Please help me!

Do you have a 64-bit machine?  Normally the listing will only include programs that your machine is capable of running.  Check your machine capabilities against the requirements for Premiere Pro and see if it comes up short.

  • I am having the following problems with CS6 *NOT CREATIVE CLOUD*

So I purchased an upgrade for CS5 to CS6 and I did NOT purchase the Creative Cloud Option. I am having this host of problems:
    • Illustrator CS6 Crashes on Quit
    • Once launched Illustrator CS6 refuses to open new and existing documents unless I quit and restart.
    • Once Illustrator CS6 is launched and managed to open an new document, Illustrator CS6 refuses to import a link into a new or existing document unless I quit and restart.
    • From time to time, Illustrator CS6 will refuse to copy and paste from one document to another or within the same document until I quit and restart.
    • Illustrator CS6 ignores all my UI preferences. This happens every time I restart. This never happened with CS5 when I was running it and I am seriously considering going back to CS5
Has anyone else experienced these problems as well?
    I am running my CS6 on OS X 10.9.5, 2.6Ghz Intel Core i7 with 16gb 1600 MHz DDR3 MacBook Pro.
Please help.. there are only so many crash reports I am willing to fill out and send to no one because I get no response.

Sounds like permission problems to me. Go to HD/Users/<yourname>/Library/Application Support/Adobe Illustrator CS6 and do a Get Info on that folder. Make sure that the permissions are set for Read/Write for you.

  • Creative Cloud is a mistake, and neither an option.

Yes. I am not a common Adobe user, however, it is easy to see the effects of such monthly-based subscription, in general.
I wanted to post this in the feedback site, but I couldn't. -.-
It is quite clear that, who do use Adobe 24/7 or very and very often, find this Creative Cloud system pretty useful and much cheaper, saving even the 700% of the total cost of the *full* group od softwares.
But many.. TOO many problems such will cause. Have you considered this, Adobe? I think not.
    1) WHAT if I juse JUST ONE Adobe program pretty often?
Oh, I just save MUCH and MUCH less money. First of all.
    2) WHAT if I created projects like 2 months ago and I didn't use Photoshop for a full month.
Seriously... do I have to pay A FULL MONTH SUBSCRIPTION to open my file again? Who assures us that with the CC series the projects are opened with the old CS ones?
This is, tremendously, maybe worse than someone cracking the software. I make some work, and I can't open or edit or reuse my OWN personal work, if I don't buy another month subscription. Sorry, this is a theft.
    3) WHAT if I don't use Adobe 24/7?
That's another point... who is into business or busy because school and job, must pay a monthly subscription to access to CC like..10 times, or even less? Come on Adobe, this is really too much. I assure you, just for this reason, you are going to lose at least the 10% of your customers.
    4) Adobe, do you think to be the only one making these softwares?
Absolutely NO. And, watch out. Because the other companies right waited this moment. Monopoly is an illness... not your main weapon. Many won't see your Photoshop CC.
    5) Making an day-based subscription?? No?
Someone of your team - no offense - is quite an idiot. Making a smarter option? For example - expecially for those who don't use photoshop 100 times per month - can't we just pay according to how many days we use the software? Like a sort of access in trial license? Too much hard to think that? I think you thought this, but you just want to earn more, I suppose. That's why you are going to lose customers.
    6) After all this mess, you discriminate Europeans, too?
Why Europeans must pay like 25-30% more for the same service? No way. And do not put taxes or other stories in between, because people are going to buy directly through your servers, and there is NO extra cost if I do this from USA or Ireland. Indeed, maybe you are going to earn extra money because you made an invented exchange from dollars and euros. The last time I hear this story was from a scammer, not from such a professional company like you.
Good luck to who supports this ''new future'' whatever it is called.. don't count me in.

    1) WHAT if I juse JUST ONE Adobe program pretty often?
They have a single use subscription for $20/mo.  Similar to upgrading extended version every 1.5 years.
    2)  WHAT if I created projects like 2 months ago and I didn't use Photoshop for a full month.  Who assures us that with the CC series the projects are opened with the old CS ones?Or don't use it every day?
Same problem if you own it.  If upgrade price is $400 every 1.5 year that is same as $16/month.  You can choose not to update and version will be same as when you last used it.
    3) WHAT if I don't use Adobe 24/7?  and 5) Making an day-based subscription??  Same problem if you own it.  If upgrade price is $400 every 1.5 year that is same as $16/month.
    4) Adobe, do you think to be the only one making these softwares?
Competition is always a factor in market.
    6) After all this mess, you discriminate Europeans, too?
Taxes charged by Governments and municipalities are not controlled by Adobe.

  • Adobe creative Cloud photshop cs 6 register user iam not getting COPY CSS options please help

still not getting this options please help

13.0.1 is the last version of Photoshop to run on Windows XP but it does not include the Copy CSS feature.
The Copy CSS feature was first introduced in Photoshop 13.1 (Cloud only) and higher.
    http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2013/02/copy-css-attributes-in-photoshop-13-1.html
Photoshop 13.1 does not run on Windows XP. So your operating system is preventing you from upgrading Photoshop to 13.1+.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/new-system-requirements-photoshop-131.html
If you plan to remain a Cloud member then you will have to upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows 8 (or get a new computer) very soon in order to run Photoshop CC to be released on June 17, 2013.

  • Not getting the option to install creative cloud. Only trial version or choose new plan

    Hi,
I'm trying to install Photoshop on a second computer. Problem is I can't find the installer for Creative Cloud. When I log in at adobe.com and go to products, all i get is the option to get a trial version or sign up for a new plan. It's like it thinks I'm not already on a plan.
Explicitly going to menu -> pc apps -> clicking the creative cloud icon takes me to the general creative cloud promotional page. I can't see any option to just install the creative cloud app.
Am I missing something? Seached the forums and all the replies just tell me to go to adobe.com/products and install.

    Oh, it was that simple?
Tried it and it worked just like you said. It's downloading now. Thank you so much!
Got to say that's a bit of baffling gui design. One would think a link to install Creative Cloud would be one of the main things needed for the account page on the website. Not only did I have to do something I didn't want to do (get the trial), but after installing the manager, it immediately started downloading and installing photoshop. I really hope it's not installing the trial version. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
Regardless, that solves this question. Again, thanks for the quick help. Have a nice day!
    /Alex

  • Renewed my monthly plan , downloaded creative cloud desktop app on new laptop, go to apps, but i dont have an option to install photoshop, I have it installed on two other laptops but both laptops were damaged and i cant access them to delete the installe

hello, i ordered photoshop on creative cloud in August 2014 on a monthly plan, had no problems installing and using etc, until both mine and my girlfriends laptops were damaged. I then stopped paying my monthly plan. and PS was deactivated. I recently got a new laptop which im using currently, it is an aspire one with windows 7. I paid my debt to adobe to reactivate, Creative Cloud Photography plan (one-year) . I then downloaded creative cloud and logged in as usual, i go to the apps page to install PS but it only has an option that says TRY. i looked into the problem and found that with my account i can only have PS installed on two devices, and the only two solutions i saw was to uninstall on the other devices and then re install. This is my problem, my girlfriend chucked her laptop straight in the bin whilst I have mine in the cupboard in pieces not working. or the other option was to open a new account with adobe. I dont really want to follow that option as I have just paid my debt and subscription for the next month and i dont want to change my email address associated with the adobe account. Any advice or solutions will be appreciated, thank you.

The purchase is active now, we have recieved the payment. You have one activation left.
    Current Plan:

    Account Activated:

  • Can't see pricing options for Creative Cloud. :'(

    Two things, Adobe:
    1. When I try to click the "See All Plans" button on this page (Cloud-based software and services for creatives | Adobe Creative Cloud) I'm taken to a blank page (except for the unhelpful footer). The error console on my browser says there are a couple of errors, which are usually where this comes from.
    plans:237 -- ReferenceError: Can't find variable: s
    test_and_target.js:1:132 -- ReferenceError: Can't find variable: mboxDefine
I would love to see the pricing options for this service that you've built into all of your applications, but apparently I can't.
    2. Apparently the forum is the only way to tell you guys about technical problems?

    Hi ChristofferLu,
Please refer the knowledge base article: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/cc-desktop-download-error.html.
