CREATIVE CLOUD SUBSCRIPTION ON TWO COMPUTERS

If I install creative cloud on my laptop now while on vaction, can I also install it on my desktop at home with ONE subscription or would I have to subscribe twice?

Hi there
Yes, you can install and activate Creative Cloud desktop applications on two computers, regardless of operating system, for the individual associated with the Creative Cloud membership.

Yes, this has been allowed with Adobe applications going back many years.  A program such as Photoshop can legally be installed and activated on two computers at a time for the use of the single licensed user.  You can't install legally on your own and a friend's computer for use by the two different people.  Prior to Creative Cloud, there was an unwritten limit on how many times a given application could be activated, but there is no longer such a limit under CC.  That means you could theoretically install on three or four computers, activating only two at a time, and then deactivating one or both before activating on another computer.

Can I install Creative cloud applications to my Powerbook computer although I have it on my stationary computer?

You can install and activate Creative Cloud desktop applications on two computers, regardless of operating system, for the individual associated with the Creative Cloud membership. See the product license agreements page for more information.

  • Cancel fee for Creative Cloud Subscription

I want to purchase the Creative Cloud subscription for my current iMac but have plans to purchase a new computer in about 7-8 months. What would the fee be for canceling my subscription and going Creative Cloud on my next computer?

You can use the one annual subscriptioin on two computers.
From the Adobe Creative Cloud FAQ here http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html:
On how many computers can I install the software I download from Creative Cloud?
You can install the desktop applications available in Creative Cloud on your primary computer and one backup computer, as long as they are not running at the same time. You will have access to both the Mac OS and Windows versions, so if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, for instance, you can install your applications on both. See the product license agreements page for more information.

  • I have 2 seperate Creative Cloud subscriptions. Would I be able to merge both into a single account?

Hi, I use 2 seperate Creative Cloud subscriptions as we use more than the 2 computers that one licence gives you.
Are we able to merge both accounts into 1? Finding it difficult to distinguish which account is on which machine.
Having just 1 account would make things so much easier.

CC are Adobe ID based subscriptions. Each Adobe ID allows two activations. So merging of accounts cannot be done.
The best option for you can be CC for Team where you can assign seats to different users.
Refer to Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud for teams
You can get the present CC cancelled without cancellation fee if you purchase CC for Team.

  • Can I use my Creative Cloud subscription between a PC and a Mac?

The questions is pretty much that. I have a PC and a Mac laptop. I'd like to be able to switch between the two depending on where I am. Is this an option, as long as I have the programs / trial installed on both machines?

Yes you can install the software on MAC and PC both, with creative cloud subscription you will get 2 activation and work simultaneously on both the machines.

  • Creative cloud subscription without internet access

Would there be a way to get the creative cloud subscription for my work with out using the internet monthly by paying the year in full. My workstation is not online and can't be, it is part of a internal network.

Hi there - the Creative Cloud FAQ states that you must have internet connection at least once a month:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html
Do I need ongoing Internet access to use my Creative Suite applications?
Because your Creative Suite applications are installed directly on your computer, you will not need an ongoing Internet connection to use them on a daily basis. However, you will need to be online when you install and license your software, and at least once every 30 days thereafter. The software will alert you when you need to connect to the Internet for a license status check.
...however, you may be able to call Customer Support to update your license status in person. I would try contacting customer service:
    800-833-6687 (M-F, 5am-7pm EST)
    or live chat.
An alternative solution for this is to install one or more applications on a secondary computer that you use outside of the internal network, say, a personal laptop. Since the Creative Cloud license allows for use on two devices, you could complete the monthly license check via the applications on your secondary computer. Doing so would validate your whole memberhsip, and all devices/applications linked to it.
Either way, I'd contact customer support just to be sure.
    Cheers! Good luck

  • Creative Cloud Subscription Licensing

I already have a Creative Cloud Subscription, I need to add another license for a new employee. What are my options. Do I create another Creative Cloud account with an associated subscription or should I purchase the Adobe Cloud Team Ready offer and once Team Cloud becomes avaliable transion to Team Cloud. At the same time I have not read anything about how to transition a Creative Cloud Subscription to the Team Cloud. I am not sure if I see the added value at this time for doing things this way. The collaboration features are nice but there are other ways to do this and with a Adobe Cloud subscription at a lower price point, this may be the way to go. And in the distant future when Adobe Team Cloud becomes available and I can transition my Adobe Creative Cloud accounts there, why would I want to pay full price for the Team Ready features?
Am I totally mis understanding the literature that I am reading?
    Thanks.

    Hi Gabe_vi,
If its just for two subscriptions it might be better to just setup another individual subscription based on a different Adobe ID. If you wanted to get a qoute for the Team Ready offer it would be done through an authorized Adobe reseller.
This link can help someone find a reseller in NA

Not sure if you read this over already but it has more info about Team Ready

  • When I try to launch an adobe application I am prompted to renew my creative cloud subscription even though I'm paid up until the end of the year.

When I try to launch an adobe application I am prompted to renew my creative cloud subscription... even though I'm pre-paid up until the end of the year. I can't use any of my applications at the moment.

Another update: The one month free trial software is no longer working for me as a work-around.
Also: I tried to open up my Adobe applications from two other machines that I have in the house, but it did not work. I received the same subscription renewal popup loop. This leads me to the conclusion that it is strictly an issue on the Adobe Licensing Server side, and NOT a localized issue with something wrong on my system.

  • My trial is about to expire despite the fact that I have a Creative Cloud subscription

Since installing the beta I get a message saying my trial is about to expire despite the fact that I have a Creative Cloud subscription. Also I have two Adobe IDs and despite trying to change the default it keeps switching back to the one that doesn't have the CC sub. Also in About Muse it says I am on v3.1 Build 8, is this correct?

Any help on this from Muse staff would be appreciated

  • Trial period has expired for legit CS6 Creative Cloud subscription??

Last night Adobe Application Manager upgraded itself.  All well and good.  It showed correctly what CS6 apps I had downloaded and installed previously.
I am a CS6 Creative Cloud subscriber with nine months to go.
Subsequently when I tried to start Dreamweaver or for that matter any other creative CS6 application, like Photoshop - I get the following error:
    Your trial period has expired!
I have been using all installed Creative Cloude appd for the last 3-4 months with no problems!  Why this now??
    StellaC

The creative cloud subscription is fine but the whole 'license expired' license this software, you have 5 days left of your trial or 'please enter your serial number' (what serial number for the cloud ??) that seems to pop up at alarming rate on both of my machines.
As soon as I re-log on with my adobe id (which never seems to be logged in however many times I log in and say 'remember') it then 'activates' my subscription .. but never remembers by the afternoon!
The whole thing is just not very slick. It is not very impressive that every two or three days I have to keep re-activating etc the subscription to the cloud, sometimes it takes quite a few run arounds with the logon before it finally says ... 'yes, you are activated / subscribed etc or whatever'.
Surely with creative cloud, perhaps the applications could be re-written to realize that there is a creative cloud and that the person using the app is not requiring to buy the product or stop using the trial etc. I wonder is this happening all the time for all the users of the cloud ??
I can understand the cloud / Adobe need to check that the person is running a legit version but it is not going to leave a good impression with all the users if dialogs pop up all the time with odd messages saying about trial versions or 4 days left of your trial.
Just a simple dialog ... if a cloud member, 'please connect to the web to check activation etc'... and then allow the user to continue with the product.

  • Please clarify details regarding the Creative Cloud subscription

I am a higher-education educator and have two questions regarding buying a Creative Cloud subscription in the Thailand Adobe store.
    1) The plan for the first year is 600 THB per month. How much is it after this? The terms and conditions do not make this clear. They say
The promotional price is valid for the first 12 months. After that, we'll renew your contract automatically, at the standard annual plan price (current pricing information is available at Adobe.com)
However, there is no 'standard annual plan price' that I can see for educators.
    2) I wish to pay annually, since I don't have a Thai credit card. I have an English credit card and I will be charged a foreign transaction fee every time. Is it possible to pay annually? I wish to use the Thai store because I teach in a Thai University, and it is cheaper than the British store.
    Thanks.

Sorry for my slow reply; the notification got filed as spam.
Thanks for your advice. I wouldn't have thought about buying prepaid cards from Amazon. Nice idea.
I wasn't really asking for speculations about future prices, just wanted to know what the "Standard" price was for educators, which the subscription will revert to after one year.
In the end I bought CS6 Master Collection. For students/educators in the South-East Asia store the price is really good.

  • Serial Number Required - Creative Cloud Subscription is Active!

I am getting very frustrated! I just paid for a Creative Cloud subscription three days ago. I have the Adobe Application Manager on my computer and it is working smoothly for several programs. However, when I try to use Photoshop, it requires me to license the product. I sign in with my Creative Cloud subscriber email, and it asks for a serial number (which, of course, I don't have).
I've seen lots of people posting about this problem, but no solution. Is Adobe addressing this? Photoshop was one of the main reasons that I got this subscription! I don't want to waste my money on a program I cannot use.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Lets try two more steps to fix the problem.
First run the Adobe Cleaner Tool.
You can download it from here http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html.
In the drop-down in the top right select Creative Cloud and then highlight Creative Cloud Installer.
Now click on the Cleanup selected button.
Next install the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) for Mac.
You can get it from here http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774.
Launch AAM and sign in with your Adobe ID.
This is removing the Creative Cloud applet that AAM uses and then re-installing AAM. This does not affect the install of Photoshop and Illustrator.

I hope this should help .

Is this correct ?.  I was not aware that there is a special exception, that allows both installations of a single Creative Cloud membership to be used at the same time.
