Creative Cloud trial: Getting the spinning blue pinwheel thingy. Won't stop. Won't load.
I'm sitting here watching the creative cloud blue pinwheel spin and spin and it won't stop and won't allow me to access the programs. Is there something wrong with the Adobe servers? (which doesn't bode well for me adopting the whole cloud thing)
Mac OS 10.9.4, MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7. This. THIS is what I'm seeing:
sign out and then back in to your cc desktop app.
if that fails, use solution 2 here, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

Do I have to download creative cloud to get the photoshop free trial?
Every time I download the photoshop free trial it just opens up creative cloud. When I go to log into creative cloud though it says I have been signed out and I must sign in to continue even though I just signed in. It does this every time. HELP!

Once i had installed a trial from creative cloud. Now i bought the creative cloud. I want to use it but every time i open creative cloud i first have to update it. When i try to updrate i get an error that i have another creative cloud open on my computer and i first have to close that one. but i don't know how... I hope somebody here can help me! Thanks

Creative Cloud just shows the spinning icon
When I open Creative Cloud and try to download the just purchased InDesign CC application, it just shows the spinning icon. Have tried several times today and allowed it to run for hours. Restarted, emptied cache, etc. Followed the directions on different pages. Nothing works.

When I open iphoto I get the spinning rainbow pinwheel,
I cant click on anything. I waited 10+ for it to load properly. Ive also restarted my laptop several times. I end up having to force quit it everytime. Help!
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption. -
I've downloaded the Creative Cloud, once completed the creative cloud window pos up with spinning whell in center then the entire window disapears. How do I get it to remain open so that I can download programs needed

I accidentally quit my CC on my Macbook pro and now the cloud icon is grayed out and every time I hover over it with the mouse I get the spinning beach ball of death on the icon. I have no idea how to open it because when I use spotlight search to open it it gives me a message saying "Creative Cloud is not open anymore" help!
Since you didn't include any pertinent info such as the Mac model and OS version you are running, here is some general information:
Mac OS X: Gray screen appears during startup
Depending on which OS yours came with originally - and which OS you are now running - you would either need your original install disks - you can call Apple for replacements by giving them your serial number. Or you may be able to reinstall the OS by using recovery (again, depends on which model/which OS). -
I have just upgraded from Lightroom 5 standalone to Lightroom 6 standalone. I appear to have been automatically enrolled for a 30 day free trial of Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud. Reading the FAQ, it appears that after the expiry of the free trial, if I do not sign up and pay, I will only be able to view my pictures on the desktop but not edit them - surely this cannot be true. How do I un-enroll for the 30 day free trial of Lightroom Mobile and CC?
When I was signed into Adobe (which was a requirement for installing the upgrade), Lightroom 6 told my at the top right corner that I had 30 days left of my free trial of Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud. In parallel with this forum posting, I am chatting with Adobe support. he is away to find out how to prevent any synching with Creative Cloud during the 30 day free trial. I do not think that Creative Cloud is an application that gets installed on your PC. I think Lightroom 6 has it built in, and can use it if if you are signed up to the Creative Cloud and Lightroom Mobile (which I am for 30 days)

So basically it said that I don't have a program to open it? I already had a trial version on my mac, but deleted it..YasmineH your web browser is blocking the installation of the AAM Detect plug-in. I would recommend using a different web browser or installing through the Creative Cloud Desktop application. I tried the Aperature trial and liked it, but did not purchase it when the trial ended. A few weeks later, i purchased snow lepord and purchased aperture via the app store. I have had not been able to use it since. Each time i open it , afer a few seconds i get the spinning wheel of death and Aperture is frozen. I have to force quit Aperture to shot down mycomputer. I have re-installed Aperture 3 times with th e same result. I have iphoto on my computer as well is this causing the problem? I want my money back!!! Can anyone help?
You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip. -
I have tried to install Creative Cloud but I just get a blank white screen with a black Creative Cloud bar at the top. There are no options to choose 'Apps' etc. Can anyone help?
What happened yesterday may have been caused by the SOPA protest action that was joined by a lot of sites yesterday and such an action won't happen that often.

Creative Cloud app gets stuck on spinning wheel on Windows 8.1
Ok DL the cloud app it never gets to the log in. I used the information like
From the same gear icon in Creative Cloud, choose to Quit Creative Cloud.
Rename the OPM.db file that is located in the OOBE folder located here:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Windows XP: \Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe
Windows 7: \AppData\Local\Adobe
Change the name to OPM.db.old
Relaunch Adobe Creative Cloud.
Sign back in to your Adobe ID.
Then locate the OPM.db file successfully? If so then please also try removing the contents of the OOBE folder which contained the OPM.db file.

I got steam of error in Eventlog in windows 2008 in almost every second.
