Creative Cloud trial period issues

I downloaded the Adobe Creative Cloud for photographers a couple of days ago - the "trial".  It was working initially - I opened the program and was working on pictures no problem  Later that afternoon when I was in my car - I was unable to open PS - as I had no wifi, and thought that was strange as I heard you can use PS without wifi.  Before I could figure out what was going on I deleted something from my computer today and had to "restore" to a previous date.  Now my computer will not show the creative cloud at all.  I tried reinstalling the Creative Cloud set up .exe and it keeps stopping before it completes.  Any suggestions?

No have never used Adobe cleaner. I have too mant versions of Photoshop installed wipenin the all out to fix one is not for me.  When I have a problem with one of the versions I have Install. I download the direct installer for that version. Extract the package and install over the curren install the has problems. That back-level the install to the original released version and Then I update that.  If I want to back-out an update I do the same however I manually download the updates and install the ones I want installed. If you use menu Help Updates it will want to install the latest update which include all previous updates. So the Only way to back-out an update is to re-install and manually update each update using their setup. 
When you install over an existing install and update all the add-ons you had installed are still installed and operation and your Photoshop preferences set are still there.

  • Creative cloud trial install, about to NOT buy it!!!!!!

    I am literally MOMENTS from snapping here. Adobe is increasingly ticking me RIGHT OFF! I can not even share with you how angry I am right now. This is ridiculous. First I am NOT pleased with their latest "subscription based" programs idea. It is a rip off in my opinion. BUT because I want to be able to use the latest of Adobe software I figured I would at LEAST give the trial a go. Ya, what a joke. I can NOT get it to install.
    I download the ridiculous Creative Cloud desktop app and it just repeatedly tells me "Download error, contact customer support". That in and of itself is a JOKE! I can't get a hold of ANY customer support because no matter what I choose to "ask" about on their stupid support page it sends me HERE to the forums. How about a real live INDIVIDUAL?!? At this moment if I DID get a hold of an Adobe employee I wouldn't stop screaming for 10 minutes!
    So anyone who actually either knows how to get a hold of someone OR how to make this trial ACTUALLY work would be greatly appreciated. They really want me to subscribe to something when I can't get it to work as a trial? Are they serious?
    Any help is appreciated because I am seriously frustrated with Adobe right now. They better get their act together. I don't care HOW great their programs are, if people can't use them THAT doesn't matter.

  • Creative Cloud Photoshop serial issue

    Hello,
    I tried to install Creative Cloud (photoshop) on a second computer (iMac), but Photoshop was asking for a serial.
    The photoshop (trial) is now suspended on this computer and I can't work with it anymore.
    I searched the support forum for a solution, but nothing found:
    - i tried different language install
    - i tried the CS6 cleaner and installed again
    Can you help me?

    Not sure if you already solved it but I noticed you ordered the English version -with that version the Adobe Application Manager language preference have to be set to English(International). That might be the cause. We have this support doc about the issue.

  • Creative Cloud Trial

    Hi I have joined the Creative Cloud on the 30day trial and have installed some apps on my main computer which seem to work fine. I am now trying it out on my laptop. I have downloaded the application manager and installed photoshop and indesign. Now when I open either of these on my laptop it shows a window giving the option of 'license' or 'start trial', then when I hit 'start trial' it just returns to the same window.  I am signed in. And the programs are not open on my other computer. I understood the creative cloud could be used on two devices but it seems I cant?  Please help!!

    Although you are using the trial instead of actually having purchased, I was wondering if the behavior you were experiencing on the second computer might be related to what is described in this document

    You might check if the option to install becomes available again if you change the install language to English (International), if so, try reinstalling the products and see it resolves the issue.

    You can simply uninstall your applications of Creative cloud as the trial is valid for 30 days only.

  • Using original downloaded lightroom software after creative cloud trial

    I originally paid for the lightroom 5 software, but after doing adobe's free creative cloud trial, I can't get back to using my original lightroom software, and my develop module is disabled. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

    The normal reason for the Develope module being disabled is because a trial period of the software has expired, and it's possible your computer is confusing the end of the CC trial with the use of a perpetual copy of Lr.
    The best way to solve this is to uninstall and then  reinstall your perpetual copy of Lr, assuming you haven't tried this already.

    I have downloaded the trial and done the troubleshooting recommendations but when i have downloaded my trial and open my download assistant about half way through my installation abox appears saying that a file could not be found, I have tried it mutliple times but it will still not run. I have mountain lion if that effects anything?

    hi i do not have a home/library/logs folder as it is a mac?

    Tried a number of "fixes" from blogs.  No joy.  Deleted all my adobe apps, rebooted, and Creative Cloud says it needs to reload.  Went through that process, and it quit near the end, saying it needed to reload and directed me back to same Adobe site.  Hmm.  Round and round we go.  How do I get off of this loop and get my Adobe Lightroom and PS working fine again?  Whole episode started after loading CC and then PS said it didn't have Camera Raw.  Went and downloaded that, wouldn't load and said I needed Adobe Download Diagnostic (or something like that) went to suggested link, whereupon it tells me it is no loger available. 
    Looking forward to cleaning everything off and starting over!!  Any input gratefully accepted and I will NOT be trying CC again.  I am sure it is just fine, just not for me, now.

  • Not Allowed to use Adobe Muse in Creative Cloud trial

    I previously had a month-to-month Adobe Muse subscription and just started the Creative Cloud Trial. Because i had canceled my month-to-month subscription, the Muse application will not let me open files unless I renew my subscription - even though I now have a 1-month trial of Creative Cloud. Is there any way to resolve this so that I can use Muse with this one month trial?

    You will not be able to use Muse as a 30 day trial since you already had a month-to-month subscription of Muse.

    If I decide to stop my membership, will I still be able to use my Creative Suite software and the other components of Creative Cloud?

However, if you saved your work to your computer, you will continue to have access to those files.     I have same broblem. Host file is clear, no any entries on "Hosts" file.
    Software activation work some Creative Cloud membership programs like Dreamwiever ( start program -> login Adobe account to get softeware activation ) and some not.. ( Photoshop & Acrobar X Pro )
    Adobe Acrobat X Pro and Photoshop ask login Adobe Id, after that its try to activate software on Adobe.. After about 30 second, program just start to ask serial number.. look like Adobe cloud server fail to give correct serial number ?
    Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat X Pro are latest version ( dowloaded direclty on Creative Cloud membership program downloader )
    Why some Creative Cloud membership programs get activation code right away on Adobe and some programs just keep going to Trial mode after Adobe server file to give access to use program ?
    How can i activate correclty all Creative Cloud membership programs ? Now Adobe server fail to give programs licence access to start and just turn program to trial mode and ask serial number.
    Windows 7 ( fin ), 64-bit. There is nothing to do on Host file if some activation work alrady..
