Creative Cloud Video Sharing Features

Hi there,
I run a boutique video production company and I'm a CC subscriber. Does anyone know if Adobe is looking to add video sharing features like they have for PSD, AI, and Web Designs?
For me it would be great to show a client a rough cut via Adobe's site and get comments through the site as opposed to an FTP upload and bouncing emails back and forth.
Thanks!
A.

This feature of sharing video is not yet part of creative cloud.
However we take this as a feedback for continous improvement for CCM.
Please feel free to log the same as a feature request in the form given in the link below:

Thanks

  • Creative Cloud Folder Sharing, movie playing, commenting

    Hello,
Like almost everyone else who's had a go at Creative Cloud's file sharing, I am very disappointed. I currently use WireDrive for project sharing/approval, but it is very overpriced. The Cage system looks very attractive - it's a quarter of the price of WireDrive and allows all kinds of stuff that is not available on Creative Cloud. Having 100GB of Creative Cloud storage that is next-to-useless is frustrating.
The obvious shortcomings of Creative Cloud's setup are:
inability to share folders - this is just ridiculous, and Adobe have promised to fix this. "Soon". WHEN?!
    cannot play QuickTime movies
cannot add comments at specific timecodes on movies
cannot add comments to specific parts of artwork (like Cage's excellent 'draw a box around something and add a comment' feature)
    cannot "reply" to comments
    cannot "mark comment as resolved"
cannot forward comments to peoples' email addresses (like the [email protected] feature in Google Drive)
no ability to add people to a 'project', and automoatically send notifications to them, like you can with WireDrive
I may be wrong on one or two of the above comments; CC's inability to share folders or play movies means I never use it.
Please Adobe, take a look at WireDrive.com and cageapp.com and see how the Creative Cloud file sharing should be done. As it is, your file sharing is really pointless. It could become a real reason for many, many people to give you their $50 / £47 per month. These other services (WireDrive, Cage, etc.) are very expensive for what you get - a bit of server space plus some fancy commenting. You could even take a load of Dropbox's business too.
I've noticed there is no obvious way to give Adobe feedback on Creative Cloud (at http://www.adobe.com/go/wish); maybe it's because it would be overwhelmingly negative.
I'd really love it if Adobe could reassure us that they are working on some/all of the above features, so we don't have to all go and spend extra money on other, unintegrated services like WireDrive and Cage. Anyone listening?
    Thanks,
    Paul

I wish the Adobeans in the Creative Cloud department would take a look at how wonderful the Adobe After Effects treat their customers, in terms of feedback, bugs, and feature requests. The After Effects crew are fantastic. The "Cloud" crew are....well......not.
It is just such a shame that After Effects is now part of this cloudy crap. Maybe if enough of us request that the After Effects people beat the crap out of the Cloud people, they'll probably go ahead and do it, just to keep us users happy.

My apologies, but I really had no interest in a member's "answer", especially one that is so unhelpful.  Assuming that you were responding to me (we are the only two commenter's at this point), I would not be inclined to read the Creative Cloud offers since this is something that I am not interested in.  I bought the product the first day of offer, I did not rent it....just like I have in all the years past.

  • Does Creative Cloud Have All Features that CS6 has?

Are all the programming features in CS6 available in Creative Cloud?

CS5-thru-CC PPro/Encore tutorial list http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1448923 has that information
The bottom section of the link above has several Adobe links, and other information, on downloading Premiere Pro CS6 and the bundled Encore CS6, and the TWO ADDED downloads for the Encore library content, to author a DVD or BluRay... and the tutorial list includes learning how to use Encore... pay particular attention to the picture in reply 3 at this link - Is encore included in premiere cc 2014?

  • When will training videos for creative cloud be updated?

Please let us know when new videos will be posted?
I will need good videos for new people on my team.
In general, videos (that as of a few days ago were available through the "Training" link from the Creative Cloud) are old and out of date. They are still advertised in a link to the right as "New Tutorial Videos."
-All videos are for previous interface
    Videos with entirely unusable information?
"Recovering Deleted Files in Creative Cloud"
"Selecting, Moving, and Deleting Files in Creative Cloud"
Videos that are mostly accurate, though interface remains different:
"Managing Individual Creative Files in Creative Cloud"
"Sharing and Downloading Files in Creative Cloud"
I have not seen any answers on this topic. Let me know if they already exist.
There were no results for when will training videos for creative cloud be updated?

I posted with screenshots how to Archive and Permanently Files here http://forums.adobe.com/message/5087298#5087298.
If you have questions about how to do specific things let me know and I will post screenshots.

  • Photoshop Help | Copy CSS from layers | Creative Cloud

This question was posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/copy-css-shape-or-text.html

There is no way to have this option without creative cloud?  This feature has nothing to do with the cloud.  Why are photoshop versions fracturing in this manner?
Dont' be surprised. It's been Adobe's strategy since the Cloud was launched last year.
The extra Cloud-only features are designed to make the Cloud more and  more attractive. The new features have little or no connection to Cloud functionality itself, they're just desirable new features designed to add value to the Cloud apps and make perpetual licensed customers want them.(Seems to be working).
Adobe has said that Cloud-only features in the CS6 cycle will be introduced into the next paid-for perpetual license upgrade (probably CS7) - but Cloud members will always get early access to them.
Same applies to new Cloud-only features introduced in other Cloud apps such as Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

  • How are updates delivered in Creative Cloud?

I have a colleague who's cc software updates automatically. He has an option in the application manager to do so. My application manager does not?

The Adobe Application Manager (AAM) runs in several different modes: Install, Update and Liscence.
When you launch AAM you are not able to reach the Update mode.
The Adobe Application Manager does run in the background checking for updates every 24 hours. If there is an update the task bar in the bottom right of Windows or on the top of Mac OSX will prompt you that there is an update. Opening the Updater you will see something like this:
You can launch any application and from the Help menu choose Updates. This will manually trigger the check for updates. This will check for updates for almost all programs. So launching Photoshop just now I checked for updates and got the Dreamweaver updates in the screenshot above.
Special cases are Lightroom and Muse that do not use AAM for updates, but they will announce there are updates available when you launch them like so:
Finally all bug and security updates are available as manual downloads from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/. These updates will not include the Creative Cloud only product feature updates.

  • Can I create Ebooks with voice over and page transition with Creative Cloud? Which product?

I have created little kids e-booklets with voice over in Powerpoint that I'd like to sell online. What I am missing is the slide transition effect on mobile and pads.
Powerpoint only allows this function in a presentation/show format, but this doesn't work when I download the booklets on my phone. Does Adobe Creative Cloud offer this feature for my ebooks?
    Best regards,
    Ingrid Heyerdahl

    Hi Tommy,
Yes, you can create a site in Muse and publish it to business catalyst. It will be in trial mode and your client will be able to view the site over the web.

  • Using Creative Cloud to edit video on multiple computers

    Hello,
Is there any way that I can use the creative cloud to continually edit a single video across two seperate computers? I've read that the cloud does not currently support video sharing, but I got the impression that this referred specifically to streaming/watching video files.
I know I could just upload the Premeire Pro Project file, and I'm guessing this would allow me to access all of my edits, but would I then need to copy raw video files onto the second computer and tell Premeire where to locate them? Would I have to do this every time I re-downloaded an updated project file?
    Thanks for any help,
    Jared

    Hey Jared,
The feature you describe is not currently available. It would make a great feature request for Premiere Pro though.

    Hello
I was looking at buying the Photography creative cloud plan as I only really need Photoshop and Lightroom would be a bonus. In the Single App pricing it state that there are « cloud features » available but they are not mention in the photography plan. What are the cloud features available ? Are they available in the Photography plan ?

  • Is it possible to upload video clips into Creative Cloud, then share or collaborate?

I can upload photos, but when trying to upload video to the CreativeCloud into a folder, they all show up as single .jpg of a random frame. Does Cloud allow video collaboration TIA

Even though you cannot play a video file uploaded to a Creative Cloud folder, you should be able to share that folder with other CC users either via the Collaboration or the Share Link features.  More info here:  Creative Cloud Help | Collaborate by sharing folders.
    Thanks,

  • Is is possible to use creative cloud as a shared volume for collaboration between incopy & indesign?

I'm a designer student and as a designer, I constantly have to make decks for presentations.  I typically work in a group of six and because I'm confident with graphic design, I tend to be the leader of these tasks.  I've found the best workflow for slide creation is Indesign.  Unfortunatly, I'm just an awful writer— so when I heard about Incopy's collabrative features(saw the post from indesign's facebook page) I saw oppertunity and got very excited.  My teamates and I typically all have subscriptions to adobe cc because of this, I was wondering (since I havent used it at all) if the storage given out from adobe cc was able to be that shared volume that is required for the live link between incopy stories and indesign layouts.
    Therefore,
Is is possible to use creative cloud as a shared volume for collaboration between Incopy & Indesign?
If this needs any further clarification I'll gladly write a more detailed question — lastly, if this is not possible might you suggest an alternative?  Please assume that we go to school together but we work offsite also.

You will not be able to use the Files page at https://creative.adobe.com/files for collaboration in this way. But you can share individual files in this way.
When folder sharing is available this will be possible.
