Creative Cloud Web Hosting?

Hello All,
While looking for information for hosting websites, I came to an Adobe Page that indicated that Creative Cloud members have the ability to host websites, 5 maximum I think it said but I cannot find much information about this? Do I have to go through Business Catalyst and get a specific account with that service and link it to my Creative Cloud account, or do I have to simply get a paid plan from that service? I am fairly lost with this here. I want to launch my website as soon as possible. If anyone can point me in the right direction and help clear this up it'd be very much appreciated.

I read through that post but I cannot find a clear answer from it. Do we having Hosting built into Creative Cloud? Or do we have to sign up for a Business Catalyst account? If it IS included in the regular Creative Cloud, how does one upload to it? Adobes services and software are so large and broad it sometimes is hard to find a quick, clear answer to some things.

    I believe this question was already answered via ticket #57102 - please see my response to that ticket for further details regarding the needed steps.
    What I was trying to explain in my previous reply is that you can upgrade any Creative Cloud site directly through each site's admin area, not necessarily through the link mentioned on the promo page...
    If you still have login issues with your Adobe ID (the updated email address) please access adobe.com -> Sign in -> Trouble signing in? to reset your password.
    Please try that and let us know if that worked.

    Need help with the website hosting service Adobe Creative Cloud Provides, hoew do I access this service. WHen I put my user name and password in it does not recognize it. Please help with this as I am getting ready to publish a web site. It states when I became a member of creative cloud I have access to this service to publish web sites (up to 5)

    You can sign in to Business Catalyst from here http://www.businesscatalyst.com/admin. Use the same Adobe ID as you do for the Creative Cloud.

    Can I purchase more web hostings once I have used the 5 free hostings that comes with the creative cloud subscription

    As far as upgrading to Business Catalyst that's an option, but cost wise there are plenty of others with good frontends and services. If all you need/use is photoshop.

    I have recently bought CC subscription and played a bit with web fromt end. It looks interesting for sharing files with clients and getting feedback through comments. However it does not seem to show multiple pages in png files.. Am I doing something wrong?

  • I need to renew my Creative Cloud tonight... do my email addresses transfer?

    My website has been hosted for 13 yrs with Network solutions. I have five email addresses related to my business. I purchased a one year subscription and didn't transfer my website because I was nervous about losing my saved emails and content.
    Also, under creative cloud you can host 5 web sites. Does that mean 5 websites with data and email addresses? Or does that mean one main site with four that point to it? Please advise.

    I subscribed to a standard Creative Cloud membership yesterday....
    On the Creative Cloud web page sidebar, there's a message saying 'Full Creative Cloud Membership comes with hosting for up to 5 sites....LEARN MORE >>
    That goes to a page which says "Full Creative Cloud Membership comes with hosting for up to 5 sites. View and manage these sites from the sidebar on the Creative Cloud home page."
    So it seems I'm stuck in a loop. I can't log in directly to Business Catalyst using my adobe ID either.
    Any ideas?

    You do not need ?&promoid=KRUVP at the end of the url but it should not matter.
    One thing to check is if your hosts file is modified. Open the Command Prompt and type: notepad %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
    This will open a read-only copy of your host file in Notepad. Are there any entries in this file regarding adobe.com?
    The other thing you can do is open the Developer Tools in the Chrome browser. On Windows press Ctrl + Shift to open them. Switch to the Network tab. Reload the page by pressing Ctrl + r. Check for any 4xx or 5xx errors which should be colored red.
    Post screenshots of your results or send me a private forum message with the information.

  • Please Help- Forum Solutions Don't Solve Blank Creative Cloud Desktop App Problem!

    I'm using Windows 7 and simply want to download a trial version of InDesign.  I downloaded the Creative Cloud desktop app and it's blank.  Thinking I still need to do more on the Adobe Creative Cloud web site I went and clicked on the download under the InDesign icon there.  It says it's downloading but there's nothing shown on my screen to indicate that's the case- and sure enough nothing is actually being downloaded.
    I have tried several times the solution mentioned in other posts, restarted my computer but nothing makes the Creative Cloud app appear anything but blank.
    Can anyone tell me what's going on and what I need to do to download a trial of InDesign?

    I systematically implemented each of the recommended fixes:
    -  Verified I'm connected to the Internet (obviously)
    -  Verified I can access secure sites
    -  Checked "hosts" file, verified I have access to activation servers for CS6 or later (but not for not CS5.5), but in attempting to reset the hosts file, did not find any references to "activate.adobe.com.  Here's what I saw:
    -  Verified that the GlobalSign Root CA certificate is enabled ("enabled only for the following purposes") and did not change any of the checked boxes in the list.
    After taking all these steps, the situation remains the same- blank Creative Cloud App.
    Any further suggestions?

  • No Creative Cloud in Croatia - need help with choices

    HI everyone,
    I've been working in varous agencies all my work life so I never really bothered with software purhcases, but now that I'm about to open my own small one-man company, I have some tough choices in front of me.
    I create newspapers and magazines (paper-based designs), but I started fiddling with web design and I'm really excited about the prospect of offering my clients mobile and tablet publications.
    When I saw Creative Cloud I was really excited because it:
    a) offers me a reasonable monthly subscription fee
    b) offers help with hosting and distribution of e-content
    Unfortunately, Creative Cloud is not available in Croatia, so I'm thinking about purchasing Design Standard (short on cash, hm).
    If I do that, I'm not sure if I'll be able to use all the nifty web-based features of Creative Cloud in the future, except if I purchase both Design Standard Now, and sign a 1-year Contract for the Cloud once it becomes available in Croatia.
    Is there a way to combine Creative Cloud web solutions (not talking about software, but rather storage, web hosting, fonts etc.) with purchaing a regular CS6 Design Standard licence?

  • Creative Cloud window is empty

    Setting up a brand new iMac running Mavericks. I used Migration Assistant to move files from a Mac Mini.
    When I tried running CC apps (InDesign CC, Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC) nothing would launch. The error message said I needed Creative Cloud.
    I uninstalled the old version of Creative Cloud.
    I downloaded and re-installed the Creative Cloud App.
    Creative Cloud launches but the window is empty (see attached screen shot).
    I have uninstalled Creative Cloud, restarted, and reinstalled Creative Cloud several times with the same result each time.
    I have tried renaming ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db then restarting but it does not make a difference  . . . same result
    I have tried deleting the ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder then restarting . . . same result.
    When I try to download apps from the Creative Cloud web page the Creative Cloud window comes to the front, but nothing is downloaded.
    I ran downloaded and ran the Creative Clound Clearner Tool, restarted, then reinstalled Crative Cloud . . . same result.
    Along the way I have uninstalled all Adobe apps and deleted all Adobe preferences, reinstaliing Creative Cloud each time, still with the same result.
    What do I need to do to get Creative Cloud Apps on this machine?

    Finally!
    I've been searching for an answer to my problem for hours now, and finally somebody had the exact same propblem as I have (or had), and fortunately more wit to solve the problem.

    PS. Adobe Download / Application Managers have always been unstable but this new Creative Cloud sweeps the floor with the old ones. Hope they keep on fixing it and some day we might have a reliable version... Also the downloads are sometimes ridiculously slow, I have a very fast optic fiber connection in and out so that shouldn't be a problem.

  • Creative Cloud password not recognized

    The Creative Cloud Application Manager icon in the top menu bar of my Mac disappeared. The old Adobe CS Update icon still existed, so I clicked on that. Up comes a message saying I have to update my Creative Cloud Application Manager, which then launches by itself. Unfortunately it no longer recognizes my password. So, I go to the Creative Cloud web page, try to log in and get the alert to change my password. Thinking this has something to do with the security breach, I create a new password and after the email confirmation I am able to log in. Great. Then I try to update the Creative Cloud Application Manager, but it still won't recognize my password. I've tried it multiple times, but no luck. What to do???

    Davidp158 the password being requested during the installation process is for an administrator account.  If you enter the same password that you use to log into your computer you should be able to proceed with the installation. 
    Once the installation is complete you will then be given the option to sign into your Creative Cloud Membership.
