Can I purchase more web hostings once I have used the 5 free hostings that comes with the creative cloud subscription

As far as upgrading to Business Catalyst that's an option, but cost wise there are plenty of others with good frontends and services. If all you need/use is photoshop.

May I purcahse Business Catalyst Email to use with my Creative Cloud websites (the 5 free sites)? I am having difficulty finding a reasonable priced third party service for 10 to 20 email addresses.

I believe this question was already answered via ticket #57102 - please see my response to that ticket for further details regarding the needed steps.
What I was trying to explain in my previous reply is that you can upgrade any Creative Cloud site directly through each site's admin area, not necessarily through the link mentioned on the promo page...
If you still have login issues with your Adobe ID (the updated email address) please access adobe.com -> Sign in -> Trouble signing in? to reset your password.
Please try that and let us know if that worked.

I didn't receive the licence code i was supposed to receive after signing in on the creative cloud website

I have been given a code from school to fill in on the creative cloud website (along with my own information), and was supposed to receive a new licence code in my mails.
I never received this code. I tried to fill in my information on the creative cloud website again, but it said i already had an account.
after downloading creative cloud i was able to use it with the 30 day trial,
but now it's over and I can't figure out how to fix this.

Creative Cloud Web Hosting?

Hello All,
While looking for information for hosting websites, I came to an Adobe Page that indicated that Creative Cloud members have the ability to host websites, 5 maximum I think it said but I cannot find much information about this? Do I have to go through Business Catalyst and get a specific account with that service and link it to my Creative Cloud account, or do I have to simply get a paid plan from that service? I am fairly lost with this here. I want to launch my website as soon as possible. If anyone can point me in the right direction and help clear this up it'd be very much appreciated.

I read through that post but I cannot find a clear answer from it. Do we having Hosting built into Creative Cloud? Or do we have to sign up for a Business Catalyst account? If it IS included in the regular Creative Cloud, how does one upload to it? Adobes services and software are so large and broad it sometimes is hard to find a quick, clear answer to some things.

Do creative cloud website have to be created with muse or dreamweaver?

A friend of mine has built me a website but Im not sure if I can use my creative cloud subscription to host this site? Is this possible, if so how?

The Creative Cloud hosting platform (aka Business Catalyst) can be used with any code editor, and even provides its own web-based editors.
You don't need Muse to use it.
You may have to spend some time adapting the sites code if it was originally designed for a different host platform, such as Wordpress.

Creative Cloud Website - Share

Howdy
I use Creative Cloud regularly to share files/images. Since approx 2 days "share" does not work anymore. If I click on the button "Share" nothing happens. Does anyone have the same problem?
Details:
- Upload/Download ok
- Synch with local folder ok
- Trash / Move works
- the already shared files are shared and ok
- 412 MB of 50GB used
- Adobe Cloud status ok
- Name on top right of creative clould website is not shown. Only "...".
Windows 7 64bit, German version, problem tested with IE9, Firefox, Chrome, Safari.
Everthing else (Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc) work.
Idea?

Now it works. Nothing changed. My opinion: Cloud is VERY unreliable.

Share is not working, at least directly after upload (or hours later).
If I click on the share button nothing happens. Move and trash bin works allways.
In parallel the "My account dropdown" (on top right of the creative cloud webiste) shows only dots instead of my name during problem.
It looks like that:

If I login 1-2 days later, share works like normal. Share button is working then. My name is shown, too.
But: not sure if it is related to the waiting time or because cloud is up and down and I catched a moment while it is working!
Problem is not related to a specific PC. Did try with diffrent systems, even with iPad.
Did also try with diffrent browsers and while logged in or out.
Did try also uploading files via website.
Just uploaded 2 files. A big one (173MB) and a small one (empty text file). After waiting 5 minutes both are not working with share.
My impression in the past was, smaller files a faster "recovering" from the problem.

How do I move a file in the Creative Cloud website?

I have some of my assets organized into collections (folders), and now I want to move an item into one of the folders. How do i do that?

To move a file into a folder in the Creative Cloud, do the following:
Select the file, and then click the move icon (the icon to the left of the trash can) in the toolbar.
In the Select A Destination Collection dialog box, select a folder.
Click Move.

I want to publish my pictures on a website, as I have been using lightroom and now photoshop. So I bought the entire creative suite to have the 5 websites host; but how to link my work in lightroom to the creative cloud websites?
How should I do ?
I'm lost... is it a ftp " " location that I should be looking after ?
Do I have to go through muse and import my lightroom webgallery ...

Hello,
You can upload your files to a Creative Cloud webBasics site the easiest using SFTP (Secure FTP).
There is an article here explaining how to do this

However, in order to create a webBasics site, the best way is to create the site from Muse and then take it live. Some information on how to do this can be found on these links.

Before purchasing these licenses, please contact Adobe Support to add these users to your partner portal. After you have added users to your partner portal, you will be able to access all the websites from it.
*NOTE: If you have already add employees to your partner portal, then everything will work automatically.
If you don’t want to access all your websites from the same Partner Portal, you don’t have to do anything.
How can I set permissions for my employees regarding these websites? What permissions can I set?
      This will be part of a later Creative Cloud that will be launched this year.
What happens if I cancel or stop paying my Creative Cloud subscription?
     Each live website (among the free websites under your Creative Cloud subscription) will stay live for an additional 30 days. This gives you time to decide whether you want to keep the site(s) live or remove them. You will be prompted to upgrade your website to a regular Business Catalyst site plan.
     After 30 days, your website will enter in temporary mode. When entering the temporary mode, your custom domain name will be removed from the website. In order to reactivate it, pay for your website directly with Business Catalyst.
     If you are inactive on a temporary website, it will automatically be deleted.

I have logged in on Dreamweaver CS6 and I cannot see my partner site. How can I edit it?
This is a known issue. For paid partners (Standard or Premium) you can use the workaround described below:
export one of your sites as an .ste file
Open the .ste file in another text editor, and modify it
Replace the :
httpaddress with your partner's site URL address
secureURL with your partner site secure URL
siteid with the site ID of your partner site
Save the .ste file with another name
Import this .ste file into Dreamwaver, choose a local root folder

I'm trying to login to Dreamweaver CS6 with my Business Catalyst credentials, and it doesn't work. What credentials do I need?
     You can login to Dreamweaver CS6 with your Adobe ID. If you haven't merged your BC account with an Adobe ID account, you'll need to merge it and then you should be able to login.
How do I access sites in Dreamweaver with an Adobe ID other than the one linked to my Creative Cloud or Dreamweaver subscription?
      Dreamweaver defaults to using the Adobe ID from your subscription to avoid the inconvenience of logging in multiple times. To use a different ID, just click the "Logout" button in the lower-right hand corner of the Business Catalyst panel and log in with a different Adobe ID:
You'll need to have a file open in an existing BC site for the "Logout" button to be visible. Logging out will not affect the Adobe ID used in conjunction with your Dreamweaver subscription. To change the Adobe ID for your subscription, click Help -> Deactivate.

At this point the upgrade workflow is not functional just yet, as mentioned here: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2153
So the webBasics Creative Cloud cannot be upgraded directly to the webBasics+ level for now.
But a workaround for this case would be to re-publish your Dreamweaver/Muse project (I suppose you've used one of these solutions to build the site in the first place, right?) in a new trial/temporary site -> let us know what is the URL of that site (don't push it live) -> we will change the site plan from our backend to webBasics+ -> you will be able to publish it using the webBasics+ site plan.
Please note that this is going to be a separate charge, besides your Creative Cloud subscription. The monthly fee for webBasics+ will be $12.21/month, as mentioned here: http://www.adobe.com/products/business-catalyst/buying-guide-subscriptions.html
Another way to use the webBasics+ plan would be to simply trigger a new trial site here: https://syd.worldsecuresystems.com/PartnerPortal/FreeTrialSignup.aspx#splash with the same Adobe ID as the one used to buy the Creative Cloud subscription and take that site live separately.

Can't activate products with valid creative cloud subcription.

Briefly:
i have a valid cloud subcription.. I dowloaded Adobe application manager. Signed in to Creative cloud website than clicked the link "download" which opened application manager and installed the selected product.
After i opened the installed product i tried to activate it. I clicked on the LIncense Sofware button and logged in with the adobe id. But it strted to asks for serial number. So i turned to adobe support live chat. After one hour of chat turned out the problem is that i have a Windows OS with hungarian language and application manager installed the hungarian version of photoshop which can t be activated with crative cloud subcription,
Is this true?
THey recommended me to install adobe products on an OS with english language and install english version adobe products. I don t think this ok!
Can anybody help me??? Or creative cloud subcription is waste og mony if i don t have english OS??

Hi ISSUESKFT,
When the Adobe Application Manager starts up, ou can click on your name that appears on the Adobe Application Manager and choose Preferences.
In preferences choose the magyar language and install the softwares.
If you want you can install them in English language and there should not be any issue in activating the products. Creative Cloud subsiption doesnot requires a Serial Number number, just sign-in is required.
Please try it and let me know what happens.

Tracking Creative Cloud usage

As a Creative Cloud VIP program admin, are there any tools for me to track usage of individual products per user as opposed to just storage usage? For example, I would like to know if someone is just using Photoshop or if they're using several products with their CC account so that I can decide whether it's worthwhile for them to continue to have CC access or just buy them a CS6 desktop version of the product they use.

Adobe does not currently sell Creative Cloud for teams in China. However, the product continues to work inside China as long as it was purchased in a country in which it is currently sold. Updates issued while your team member is in China potentially can take longer to download and install because of latency issues. All hosted service components of Creative Cloud (such as file storage, Behance) currently reside on servers outside China. As a result, Adobe cannot guarantee that Creative Cloud’s hosted services are reliably accessible from within China. It also cannot guarantee they're accessible in nation that regulates or blocks access to websites and services outside its borders.
